Beautiful Illusion

OOC ~ All-right. I created this chick a while ago, but I never really have had a chance to use her. And I haven't RPed properly in a while, either. So I wondered if anyone would like to do battle with me - I'll be sure to make it fun. ^_^ ... and a bit about Rayna (oh, btw, the fic in my sig? The plotline is centered around her 'father'.):

Name: Rayna Lupus
Age: 18
Personality: In a single word, mischievous. Rayna likes to put her own spin on things, and is often seen as rebellious. She is both reckless and daring, something of a thrill seeker - half the fun is getting caught doing something wrong. She enjoys taking risks, and marches to the beat of her own drum. Adversely, she can also be a somewhat fearful young lady, sometimes thought to be afraid of trivial things, but at others, the extent of her fear is deeper. She holds tightly to those she warms up to, or those that warm up to her, in the fear that she will someday lose them. It could be said that her mischievous and rebellious persona is a mask for this.

A smirk crossed the young female's face, as she looked down from the rooftop - she was shrouded in darkness, and highly doubted that any one of the city's citizens would be able to tell her name or face ... and that suited her just perfectly. She had been taught to defend herself, to train not only by studying ... but also to train her body. After all, it was easy enough for her to neglect physical strength, for it seemed that only knowledge was valued in the current day and age ... such a thing was hardly true to her. Neglect was simply not an option.

"Doesn't anyone wanna have fun now?" She sighed - she had told plenty of people where she would be, but so far, there had been no avail. There was a hint of impatience within her voice, as the youngster continued to pace the roof of the building - it was one of those sturdy apartment blocks, built to the point of where the roof looked much more like some form of playground. Her smirk grew as she reminded herself this would soon be a playground indeed. "Come onnnnn!!" She sighed, ever more impatience showing through in her voice as she folded her arms, sinking to the ground and placing her legs crossed, indian style.

OOC ~ I don't mind whether you use pre-existing characters or made up ones - though preferably another RPG character. Virtually any race is fine; Rayna's a demon/human hybrid herself. Just don't godmod, 'kay? ;)

A young man in grey armour walked audibly across the ground; his cape of the same colour and spiking blonde hair blowing against the wind as he did so. "I searched the whole place, yet the source of the Yoki I'm sensing is nearby ..." he thought, looking around cautiously for the source of demonic energy he was sensing.

His ears soon picked a voice, he turned to it's direction and walked towards it, following by instincts. "That''s definitely the source of the energy!" he realised, noticing the energy growing stronger as he continued to travel towards it. Several minutes later he had noticed a figure, his silver eyes widened at who it was.

"You ...?" was all he could say, thoughts dancing wildly in his head. "She's around my age, and even looks a bit like my sister. It's going to be difficult to kill her if the Yoma's taking that form, this my be my last battle ..."

OOC ~ You know it's fine. =P ... seriously, it works out all the better considering Rayna's part demon >D ... and there's no need to apologise at all ^^ you'll still own me. =P

The female turned swiftly as she felt the presence of another, her eyes scanning the male as he emerged from the darkness. She could not say she had encountered many like him in the past - his attire did not look like anything she had encountered often ... though cetainly reminded her of articles she had found whilst rooting through her father's possessions.

"Heh, me? ... I don't even got a name?" The female's demeanour was hardly menacing, or even suspicious - she seemed both tense and childlike as she moved forward to meet her opponent, still scanning his attire, and taking into account his appearance ... he certainly seemed human. But then again, most would have called her a human, too.

"I'm Rayna, man. What might your name be?" Her expression turned to more of a smile than a smirk - presumably the joy at finally having an opponent to fight. It was not her style to scare those who opposed her when she had asked for a fight herself - or ever, to be more precise - she did not see why this instance should be so different.

OOC: Yeah, but still, I say that anyways regardless XD. I guess it'll be more balanced too since they're both somewhat, similar *shrugs* Yeah, I got to stop apologizing unnecessarily, bad habit ^^; And yes, I 'technically' still own you, only in the MFG Member Auctions way XD.

"Gr, acting like an innocent child. That's all the better for me ..." Lucas thought sarcastically, gritting his teeth as his eyes burned with hatred. He glanced briefly at the hilt of his Claymore, eying the girl cautiously as he took a step forward.

"Claymore Number Seventeen, Lucas" he said, figuring he might as well get some fun out of this by playing along with the mind games he assumed she was playing. "Not that it matters, since one of us is going to die today ..."

"Dammed Yoma!" The Claymore swiftly drew his heavy sword and struck it against the ground hard, wanting to make a clear impression on his opponent. With a heavy thud, the dust from the ground rose around the claymore.

He didn't know what he was more pissed about, the fact if he actually killed her as she was now, he would be traumatized forever. On the other hand, the Origination sending him here on a mission when the locals around here didn't request it, it was unusual and highly suspicious. "I'll figure this out later, first I have to see who I'm dealing with ..." he thought, distracted.

Trying to picture the girl as being the most ugly demon he could possibly imagine, Lucas' eyes flashing yellow for a brief moment. The dust shot up suddenly as the Claymore jumped on top one of the roofs nearby to give himself a boost, his claymore held up above him with both hands. "Take this, demon!" he cried, making his decent towards Rayne from the skies.
