OOC: Well this is gonna be one sucky post. Can’t think of a good intro. XD

“Dammit, why do I have to be the announcer on a day like this.” A young male in a black suit muttered to himself as he stood with an umbrella above his hand. In one hand was the shaft to the light protection and the other held a black microphone. A dark shaded pair of glasses was attached to his shirt’s color which showed the man’s dark blue eyes. He had planned to come out looking cool for the girls, but now that it was pouring down raining, if anything dark was in front of his eyes, he would be completely blind.

“Sorry for such bad weather everyone, but as all of us no, nothing can stop these warriors from fighting, even a simple thunderstorm such as this.” The announcer said into the microphone as he looked around at the crowd where most everyone seemed drenched, but still wanting to see action. “Now, allow me to introduce our two fighters for this match.” The black suited male said as he turned towards the entrance to the tournament arena. “Joker and Naruto, please come out.”

Silence surrounded the arena after the announcer spoke. However, after a few minutes, nothing seemed to happen. Just as a few murmurs started to rise from the crowd, a sound was heard. The crashing of pots and curses erupting from someone in trouble. The sound quickly grew closer until the words could be easily figured out.

“Ack, crap, no, no, no.” A voice muttered before the sound of a crash was heard and a puff of smoke coming from the entrance. A few chuckles could be heard from the crowd as the heard the words before seeing an image start to come from entrance.

Although hard to see at first for a few people, the image gradually became easier. A long flow of blonde hair traveled from a blue toboggan down to around the lower back. No eyes could be seen due to the cloth hat, yet a wide grin was kept on his face as if nothing that had just happened seconds ago had any affect. Just below was a silver choker with a blue pendant in the center that gleamed brightly. On the male’s torso was a blue sleeveless shirt which hung a little over the baggy grey pants that ended with a pair of shoes.

“Well that was awkward.” Joker said to himself as he walked to the steps of the arena only to find that his ignorance had led him to humiliating himself again. This time, it was with a rope that was wrapped around his foot and slowly unraveling to tense up. Unknowingly, Joker went to take the first step only to be pulled back by the rope causing the fighter to trip and fall face first into the wet concrete

The crowd, witnessing Jokers pre-match antics call out at him laughing and wondering if such a clumsy fellow was really a world class fighter. Could he actually compete against a ninja as powerful as Naruto?

Naruto steps out from the entrance into the rain, his blond hair held in place by his hidden leaf village bandanna. Wearing his usual orange jumpsuit zipped up to the top, he looks ready as ever to step into a fight with anyone. He makes his way into the fighting arena, already soaking wet by the downfall.

"You're going to have to learn to stand up before you can even think about defeating me, mister! I plan on winning this tournament and becoming Hokage, and if you think you're going to stop me, think again!" Naruto walks by the fallen Joker, into the competition arena and the audience cheer, chanting Naruto's name like a hero. "I don't know who you are, or where you came from, but it doesn't matter because I am Uzumaki Naruto, hidden leaf village Genin, and I'm going to kick your butt!"

Naruto takes up a fighting stance, and waits for his opponent to get to his feet, and enter the arena.

“That actually kinda hurt.” Joker muttered as he lifted himself up to show a small stream of blood flowing from his forehead. However, the male seemed to show no sign of pain as he pulled the rope off and turn towards his opponent.

“Uzumaki Naruto, hmm?” The fighter asked out loud to himself as he cocked his head in thought before continuing up the steps. “Never heard of you. Guess you really aren’t that strong.” Joker said, a small smirk already forming again on his face.

“As for standing up right, you should be more worried about doing that yourself.” The warrior said as he faced Naruto, already knowing his techniques could floor the child if needed. However, speaking no more, Joker moved his trident into a defensive position in order to wait for Naruto to attack.

Naruto looked aggravated as he held his hands together to form a jutsu in the pouring rain. The audience looked on, waiting for the first move of the battle. Naruto cocked his eyebrow at his enemy, yelling "Never heard of me!? What have you been living under a rock? I guess I'll just have to show you what kind of powerful ninja I am. Shadow clone jutsu!!"

The stadium erupted in applause as Narutos' clones appeared beside him in the rain, ready for action. They quickly spread out across the arena, and pulled out shurikens and fired them at Joker.

"You're mine now pal, catch!" The clones yelled, as the shurikens flew threw the air at Joker faster than the rain could fall. The crowd are amazed at the action, and some gasps are heard as the shurikens fly straight at Jokers' head.

Joker’s head turned around as he saw the multiple copies form all around the arena. Although somewhat surprised, the grin on his face never faded, but actually grew instead. Too add to that seemingly arrogant smile, the male lowered his position to make him seem completely open to any attack. It was just the opposite.

The shuriken that were thrown never even penetrated skin, not from armor, hardened skin, or anything, but due to speed only. Just as the throwing stars were going faster than the falling rain, Joker was moving even quicker. Many of the projectiles had been dodged and thus sent towards indirectly at clones while the rest were caught and dropped or thrown at more clones.

Finally, the last weapon had been dodged and the young fighter pulled himself up to turn towards no Naruto in particular. “This is what you consider a powerful ninja?” The eye covered man said with a voice of dissatisfaction. “You have a lot more left to learn.” The trident wielder said as he held his weapon in no form of stance again, showing his lack of fear of the child.

A shuriken dropped to the ground, and spun to a halt in front of one of Naruto who looked down at it. "Wow...this guys faster than anyone I've ever seen." He picked up the shuriken, and spun it on his finger looking at Joker.

"You're pretty good, what makes you so fast?" Naruto asked, putting the shuriken back in his pouch. Two of the clones went after Joker, one going for a elbow to the skull, the other with a punch to the solar-plexus. The other clones slapped their hands together, as if to use a jutsu.

With a loud outburst, Naruto cried out at his enemy, "Lets get this thing started!"

“What makes me fast?” Joker asked out loud as he heard Naruto, the grin still as wide as ever. Even as the four clones attacked, that grin, nor the defenseless posture changed. Instead, Joker let out a soft yawn waiting for the attacks to close in even more.

When the two clones were almost a foot close, the gravity around Joker with a radius of five feet instantly became heavier. The weight of anyone inside that radius was more than tripled, something that would slow even the quickest person down to normal speed. Then, with a spin, of his wrist, the alien trident was spin in a circle until the point at the bottom was rammed towards one clone with the three prongs were soon to come after the other clone.

“The Earth itself.” The make said while attacking, not giving out his true power while also not creating a lie.

Naruto watched, amazed, as the clones neared Joker and then dropped to the ground with a smash, destroying the concrete sending a hairline crack all the way back to Naruto's feet as he stood in disbelief. Dirt and dust kicked up, and engulfed Joker. The audience was mystified by the sequence of events, their murmur about this mysterious jutsu quickly dying down while awaiting the next move in the fight.

They just dropped to the ground when they got near him, as if they weighed a ton!

Naruto winced, as his clones were slashed apart easily by Joker swinging the trident. They disappeared in puffs of white smoke, and Naruto knew he had to do something fast. He gathered his composure, and bellowed out, "The Earth itself? The earth doesn't give meee any special powers... But guess what? I don't need them to kick your giant fork wielding butt!"

Naruto still had his hands together, and began to concentrate. He raised his chakra level higher, giving Joker a taste of what he could really do with it as he began to mold his chakra in his hands. The power in his hands intensified with every passing second, the amazing power of Naruto drawing ooh's and ahh's from the crowd. "Get ready for one of my specialties, Joker, the Rasengan attack!" Naruto cried out as he lunged for his opponent like an animal.

Joker chuckled as he heard the young ninja complain before powering up one of his key technique. “The Earth only gives it’s power to the strong.” The male said with a smirk, thinking it might cause Naruto to lose some focus as he charged. However, being sure to not get injured needlessly, Joker readied his own plan while waiting for Naruto to come closer.

Just as Naruto attacked, the eye covered fighter jumped into the air, something that would be pointless to a regular human. Joker became even more unordinary to the crowd though as his body soared up over twenty feet into the air. Those on the ground gasped as they saw the incredible leap, before letting out a roar of amazement as Joker slowly moved up less. Just like anyone would have expected though, Joker started to fall, but his rate of speed seemed like he was a one ton ball dropping from the top of a two level house. To add to that rate was the three prongs of the trident sticking straight down, ready to cut clean through the original Naruto.

Naruto was fooled by Jokers speed, and could only look above him as his enemy bared down on him from above, trident looking to slice him limb from limb like roast beef. The trident hit its mark with such power behind it that it sent shock waves throughout the arena, crumbling the wet concrete and spewing and dust into the air. The crowd peered into the dust blind to what had happened. The wind quickly cleared the scene, revealing the trident protruding into the wet concrete, with only a log between it's prongs!

"I didn't think you'd fall for that old trick, you can't even graduate from the academy without mastering the replacement jutsu. Now, feel the wrath of the Rasengan!!" Naruto stood behind Joker with Rasengan in hand, and used the attack to strike with all his might in the brief moment Joker was distracted by the replacement.

Joker was surprised as he saw his trident stuck to a log. “Where did this come from?” The male asked out loud as he looked around for his opponent. However, his eyes did not need to meet as he felt the wind bash against his back. Naruto’s plan had worked and the powerful technique was pushed forward into the fighter’s back easily burning the clothes without even touching.

“Shit.”The trident wielder thought to himself as he felt the attack’s power. Going as fast as he could, Joker immediately lowered his body’s mass down to almost nothing as well as lessening the gravity. The result was him being flung towards the stands, but at such an angle that he just barely passed over the heads of the crowd. Those that were less fazed by the close encounter watched as the warrior shot off into the sky, a comedic scream being emitted until it was drowned out by distance.

Minutes passed as nothing happened. Even the nature around seemed amazed and now bored as a small leaf blew across the arena floor. Though a bit surprised, the announcer started to climb his way upon stage in order to determine the victor. It was only then that a high pitched scream could be heard coming closer and closer from the opposite direct Joker had flown off towards.

The crowd and announcer looked towards the noise as it came closer. As the scream closed in, the shape of a person flying straight towards the arena could be heard. “Ohhhhhh myyyyyy gooooooooooooooooddddddddddd!!!!!” The voice yelled out as it grew closer before smashing into the concrete ground sending debris, smoke, and water all around.

Did that just happen? Naruto thought, contemplating the situation. There was only one way Joker returned in the opposite direction where he left, but Naruto couldn't believe it. He took a defensive stance, and waited for his opponent to get to his feet.

If this guy survived my Rasengan attack, what am I going to have to do to defeat him???

Doubt, panic, anxiety. Feelings rushed through him as he awaited his opponents next move. Was he going to have the power to defeat Joker? Or would this be his last battle, never able to see the hidden leaf village or any of his friends ever again? These thoughts enraged him, he would not let his friends in the leaf village down. "GET UP!!" Naruto yelled, the anger in his voice clearly directed at Joker. "I haven't even beat Sasuke yet, and you think I'm going to lose to you? Fight me!"

As anger filled his heart, his chakra level exploded, rising higher and higher with every passing second...
