Chapter 14: Day Nine of Training

A full week had passed since Corey and the rest of his squad began training in the gravity chamber. Recently, though, the Uchiha had developed a gut feeling about Metal Sonic. It felt almost as if he was plotting a move against him and his friends. However, he dismissed this feeling, as nothing more than a nervous thought.

Everyone on the team seemed to get along fine. Even Corey and Amy occasionally got along. Only once, did they go a full day without trying to kill each other, only to be halted by another team member before things got out of hand. And when I say “out of hand”, I mean “High-level jutsu usage” out of hand.

Yesterday, Corey and Zach had begun training in the gravity chamber, under over one hundred and fifty times gravity. It was a little difficult, but after five minutes, they really got the hang of it. And, thanks to Tails’ invention, called a scouter, scanned their power levels. Their latest measurement was over three quarters of a million. Zach was still greater, though, pushing eight hundred and fifty thousand. Corey merely had eight hundred thousand.

Today, though, Corey squared off against a clone of himself in the gravity chamber. He limited himself to power increasing techniques, the Sharingan, which hadn’t changed from the single tomoe in each eye, and melee attacks alone. To add to the difficulty, his clone could do any attack except for high level attacks that would obliterate a good portion of the house. Even further increasing the difficulty of the task, he would defeat his clone while not using any special techniques, and under two hundred times Earth’s gravity.

The training began. Corey lunged at his clone, erupting into the double Kaioken power. The clone responded by doing the same thing, and the two collided, trading punch after punch, and kick after kick. It was ended when the clone shoved a ki blast into the Uchiha’s gut. The blast knocked him back a few feet, but he quickly recovered, and activated his Sharingan. It would help him only in the perception of the clone’s movement, no matter how fast.

The clone lurched forward, showering Corey with ki blasts. Corey had dodged, and the clone soon found himself hurtling through the confines of the chamber, before coming to rest on the floor. He then immediately sprang up, and punched Corey in the face when he showed up.

Corey kicked his clone’s feet out from under him, and took a risk… the multiplier of the Kaioken increased from two, to three, to five, to eight, and finally, taking one final exploding arc in power, utilized the tenfold Kaioken. Quickly, before the clone could regain control of the situation, he channeled a large amount of chakra into his fist, and punched his clone in the stomach, causing the clone’s innards to explode, thus causing him to be defeated.

Releasing the Kaioken, Corey began the usual training routine, sit-ups, push-ups, and shadow boxing. Once the buzzer sounded, its loud wail piercing his ears for the eighth time, Corey exited, wiped the sweat, and began practicing the Rasengan jutsu once more.

Zach did a similar routine, only this time, he was limited to just his melee attacks, and nothing else. Everyone else got to spar with each other.

By the end of the day, just before sunset, Tails gathered the tired team together for one last scan. Why he had said “one last scan,” would never be known for some time.

“Corey’s power level is… nine hundred thousand, exactly. Zach, yours is nine hundred ten thousand. Mine would be, half a million. Sonic… Shadow, both at six hundred thousand. Knuckles… between mine and Sonic’s.” Tails said, scanning each fighter’s power level. “This will be the last scan. Tomorrow, I fear we may be going into battle early…”

“Why do you say that, Tails?” the Hyuga asked. There was a little trace of suspicion in his tone as he took a step forward.

“I don’t know… I just have a bad feeling,” the two-tailed fox replied, tucking the scanner away in a safe place…

It was nine P.M., and the feeling of sleepiness had just overshadowed Amber and her family. She was just about to cut off TV and go upstairs to change into her nightclothes, when there was suddenly a large, gaping hole in the roof…

“Hello, pathetic little insect…” Metal Sonic said, his voice noticeably changed just a little bit. Amber could tell—his power went up. A yellow aura appeared around her… and two tails sprouted…

“I can’t… do this alone…” she whimpered to himself, feeling fear at her current situation, “but I have to. If I can’t stall… then I and my family will die here! I just hope Corey can sense this!”

Meanwhile, just as the Uchiha began watching his favorite show, Forensic Files, where forensic scientists debunk murder mysteries, or the mysteries behind sudden death, he sensed something. At first, it wasn’t very obvious, but then it hit him.

“Amber!” he screamed, instantly bolting for the door, “She’s in trouble! Whoever it is, is more powerful than even Metal Sonic! But, she’s also, for some reason… very strong herself…” Ignoring that last thought, he said, “But it seems almost pointless… whoever it is has must have a power of over one million!”

Chapter 15: Unforgivable!

Corey was in mid-flight through the starry skies of Station Square, rushing towards Amber’s house, due to an unprecedented circumstance. He didn’t know who had attacked her or why, but he knew it definitely had something to do with Metal Sonic. No one else on this planet, barring Zach and himself, had any level of power close to one million. If he was correct, then he had to hurry. He increased his speed, to nearly his limit.

“I can’t believe it… someone would attack Amber in the dead of night…” the Uchiha murmured, his worry growing each passing second, “If it’s Metal Sonic…” tears actually began to form in his eyes, but he tried not to show it as he began taking the full flight power.

At the girl’s house, things had already gone to hell in a hand basket. Her mother and father lay dead underneath the rubble of the building. Half of the water in the house was spraying out of the pipes, and she was already on her knees, various cuts and scratches littering her jeans and shirt. She was bleeding, and she began coughing up a little blood. She couldn’t find it in her to stand up anymore. The Nibi chakra was beginning to fade.

The blue clone of Sonic, still masked by the darkness, had a look of malicious glee on what could be seen of his features. He began powering up, and it was clear—instead of being just what he was when he first was nearly destroyed by Corey, he looked as though he had a coat on him.

“Why?” Amber said, her vision blurring with tears, “Why are you doing this?!”

“I’m doing it because I want to see that Uchiha monkey suffer. I’ll make him suffer for what he did to me… by taking away everything he cares about!” A small ball formed on his fingertip, and it became clear that unless a miracle happened, Metal Sonic would kill her. “DIE!” A thin beam ripped forward from the ball, ripping through the air toward her when…

Amber found herself in a different location, a few yards to the left of where she previously was. In her place was a pile of rocks. She blinked for a bit, and then looked up.

On top of a vertically placed piece of rubble was none other than Corey Uchiha. He had an angry look on his face, and above his head, lightning flashed across the night sky. A few seconds later, the deafening boom of thunder sounded. Raindrops fell from the sky, showering the three in the night.

“Metal Sonic…!” Corey screamed, fighting to control his anger before it really began to call forth the demon chakra inside of him, his eyes changing into the Sharingan. This time, his Sharingan had two tomoe points in each eye. The two points were parallel to each other, never touching as the seals swirled around the ring on his eye, which had become more defined. “You’re going to pay! We’ll fight you… TOMORROW!!! The mountains on the outskirts of town.”

“Fine. If you’re in such a hurry to die!” the robot said, fleeing the scene.

With Metal Sonic gone, Corey ran up to Amber, and touched her cheek, for the moment, not noticing the lines. Blood got on his hand, from the cut that was there, but he didn’t really care. With his other hand, he helped her to her feet, and supported her. It appeared she was badly injured.

At this, the girl broke down and cried.

“My mother… my father…! Dead! I have nowhere to go now…!” she sobbed, and at this, Corey felt supreme sympathy. He also had empathy, as he never had anywhere to go until recently.

I can’t let her suffer as I had… he thought, blurting out the first thing that came to mind: “I’ll…I’ll let you stay with me!”

She gazed up at him, just as the flash of lightning split the night sky like a chainsaw splits a piece of wood, and that’s when he saw the whisker lines.

“You…You’re a…” the hybrid stammered in shock.

“Don’t…” she whispered… “I’ll have to take up on your offer.” She coughed up some more blood.

“Amber!” he whispered, in reply. He felt, in that moment, intense hatred for the robot that did this to her. “I can’t… I can’t let him get away with this. He committed murder… he’s killed three people. Probably even more than that…”

“He’s killed at least five entire cities in building his empire. He’s a monster…” the human whispered. “Only… you… can… stop him.” She was beginning to lose consciousness.

“Please don’t… die…” the Uchiha stated, and, taking her to his place with the teleporting jutsu, began to call Tails.

A sleepy kitsune answered with a yawn. “Hello?”

“It’s Corey! Listen, Amber’s just been attacked by Metal Sonic, and we’re going into battle tomorrow. He can’t be allowed another day. We settle this tomorrow. Get over here. I’m sure you can think of something… she’s about to lose consciousness…”

Instantly, Tails sounded awake. “I’ll get there soon.”

The clock next to the phone read nine-thirty PM.

“Tomorrow, this ends.” Corey said, eliminating any and all arguments with anyone. “He can’t be allowed another day. Too many innocents have been lost. Amber’s…”

“Corey…?” she whispered, still too injured to talk normally… “You can do this. I know you can.”

“I… I will do it. At any cost… even if I will have to kill myself to destroy him!”

Chapter 16: Metal Sonic’s Rampage

It was day ten, and everyone gathered at Tails’ house for some last minute training. However, just as Tails began to prepare the training for everyone, Corey, half-Saiyan, half-Uchiha, stormed in, generally pissed-off. It was apparent just by looking at him; shoulders arched upwards towards his neck, eyebrows arched completely down, and demon chakra fading in and out around him.

“Everyone, go first, now.” he commanded angrily, and Zach objected.

“What about the last minute training?” the Hyuga stated, and underneath the cold exterior, anxiety was growing. “He’s just as powerful as that laser he used to defeat you once.”

“I can take care of that. Now, go, fight and I’ll catch up. Zach, you need to make sure no one gets killed. Of all of us, you’re more powerful than even me. Your power levels are as good as they can get. Speaking of which, I have prepared four Chaos Emeralds.” With that, Corey dug into his pockets, digging out the green and blue Chaos Emeralds from his pants’ pockets. He then reached into his grey shirt pocket, and pulled out his yellow and white Chaos Emeralds. He then threw each of them to, in exactly this order: Shadow, green; Sonic, blue; Tails, yellow; Zach, white.

“You did think ahead. I have to congratulate you for that,” the ebony hedgehog stated in a dark voice, “But, what’s the point if Metal Sonic claims the Chaos Emeralds?”

“Try to keep them away from him as long as you can. Now go!” Corey shouted. “Unless he’s out destroying a city, you should find him in the mountains on the outskirts of Station Square.”

After five minutes, Sonic, Shadow, and Tails left. Zach stayed behind for a little bit to talk to his rival.

“We’d better not regret this…” the Hyuga lamented, leaving to fly off to the mountains. By now, everyone had caught on how to fly without wings, two tails, or a pair of rocket shoes, and all sped off to confront Metal Sonic.

With his allies gone, Corey turned to the controls for the gravity chamber. “I’m setting it to two hundred times gravity. I just hope my body can take it.”

Almost as soon as he entered the gravity chamber, the hybrid soon found himself on his stomach, face down. He stressed himself, pushing himself to pick himself up, but he wouldn’t budge. For a moment, he lay there, face down in a puddle of his own thoughts.

Suddenly, a memory of what had happened to Amber surfaced forward, and he forced himself to his feet. He ran through the room, trying to move, but all he could manage was a run. He then began, with much difficulty, shadow boxing.

The mountains on the outskirts of Station Square were dry, choked with dust that hadn’t deposited on the mountains quite yet. The mountains were mostly uninhabited. Some mountains peaked at ten feet, while others peaked at the skyscraper level.

At the peak of one tall mountain, a certain metal clone of Sonic sat, his sensors expanding within a ten-mile radius. His metallic “cloak” blew in the wind despite having appeared attached during his attack on the family of Corey’s crush. Suddenly, he picked up four signals coming his way. His eyes opened, revealing cold, emotionless, glowing red eyes.

“Where’s the fifth one,” his voice whispered in question, but then decided to drop it as a storm of energy waves streaked toward him. He managed to knock away about three-quarters of them, but then he got hit by the yellow blasts from Shadow, called Chaos Spears, and the generic blue blasts thrown by Zach.

The four warriors converged on the battlefield, Sonic and Shadow took equal size mountaintops to perch on, Zach took a tall one, and Tails was stuck with the shorter peak mountain.

To the right of Zach was another mountain, which would have been Corey’s, had he decided to come with them. The Hyuga was the first to speak, his eyes taking on the pupil, which was invisible without activating his bloodline trait, and the veins around his eyes bulged outward. This was called the Byakugan, and he noticed something strange about Metal Sonic.

Robots can’t have chakra points… what the hell is he? he thought, observing the chakra points of the common enemy.

“So the weenie patrol has come to die. I was hoping to fight Corey, but I guess it’ll have to do…” Metal Sonic said, scanning them. “So, you brought me the four Chaos Emeralds I don’t have. With all seven, I’ll be able to cover the world in darkness. And control your Uchiha friend as well.”

Tails screamed out: “So that’s why you implanted a demon into him, let alone the demon of the Chaos Emeralds! You…!!”

His loud statement was abruptly cut short as he caught a metallic fist to the face, catching him by surprise and making him drop his Chaos Emerald. The robot caught it, and made it disappear, for him to use.

“Tails!” Sonic shouted, worried for his friend, “Are you alright?”

Tails’ face had just been smashed in, causing one of his baby teeth to come loose, and blood dripped down from his jaw. It was safe to say, without saying anything, that Tails was almost already out of the fight.

Within moments, Tails was receiving the beating of his life. Punches to the face and stomach caused him to throw spit and blood everywhere, and caused him to choke on a little bit of his vital life juice. Then, Metal Sonic kicked him. Finally, when Tails was stumbling around, similar to a drunken man that had just exceeded the blood alcohol content limit five times over, a final punch to the face knocked him unconscious. Before the final, killing blow could be struck, Sonic came from nowhere with a flying kick, catching the robot off-guard. Just before Sonic could transform into his Super form, he too, was sent flying

The blue hedgehog smashed through three rock formations, hoping to find rest against the ground. However, just before he could react, the evil machine kicked him up into the air, and then smashed him towards the ground. Metal Sonic then proceeded to lift Sonic up by his neck. He tightened his grip, threatening to cut off his air supply.

Just before he could break Sonic’s neck and kill him, Shadow ran in, but Metal Sonic quickly dropped whom he considered his “loathsome copy” and stopped time. He then beat up Shadow, without resistance. He then started time again, and soon, Shadow’s blood was flying everywhere, from various cuts littered across his body. Then, Shadow fell. He lay there, slipping into unconsciousness.

The Hyuga booked it to the fray, and soon, the two fought on even grounds, despite the power difference. Zach used the power of his white Chaos Emerald to bridge the gap.

Corey? Where are you??? he questioned out angrily to his rival, parrying a strike from his opponent.

Back at the Mystic Ruins, Corey had just finished his quota for push-ups when the gravity let up on him. His training was complete. He then, quite literally, crashed out the emergency exit, and then felt his power level. He felt it was already equal to the power Metal Sonic had with his laser beam.

“Don’t worry guys! I’m coming. I can only hope my training will be sufficient!” He muttered, quickly flying off into the distance. He then realized something. “Heh, I’ve been hanging out with Tails for too long: his vocabulary is beginning to rub off on me!”

Chapter 17: Power of the Rasengan

Corey flew at top speeds towards Station Square. As he drew closer to the fight, he sensed the fading power levels of his friends. Sonic, Shadow, and Tails were on the brink of death, and Zach was rapidly losing power, as he kept using his entire array of ki attacks. Where was Knuckles?

He had important guarding duty to do with the Master of all Chaos Emeralds.

Just as Corey felt Sonic’s life force start to fade from the world, he landed on the battlefield. Dust kicked up from his impact. For a moment, all was still. The Uchiha then looked over at Metal Sonic. He currently had his knee into the Hyuga’s stomach. He then claimed the Chaos Emeralds for his own.

“This makes seven Chaos Emeralds. I can finally take over the world! My own creator dreamed only of this, but I surpassed him!” the robot declared, tucking away the white Emerald into the space of the Chaos Emeralds he had created.

“I won’t let you get away with anything you’ve done! You’ve murdered thousands, if not millions, of people, terribly mauled four of my friends, and worst of all, left a girl without a home to go to!” the hybrid’s eyes turned red, two-point Sharingan in full view, as he yelled out his ultimatum, “So, in the name of everyone that you’ve killed, injured, or otherwise mentally scarred, I’m going to finish you off!”

“You can keep trying, Uchiha monkey,” the robot hissed, as it charged forward. He only proceeded to find himself kicked in the face. He flew backwards a few feet, only to be met with a series of kicks, high and low, before a punch, filled with ki energy, was thrust into his stomach. It brought him to his knees.

The Uchiha had since flown above him, and began powering up a generic energy blast, green in color. “Take this!” He threw the energy blast down, causing a moderate explosion, kicking up dust.

Before the robot could recover, as he stumbled to his feet, he heard a battle cry. Dust had not yet settled, so he was still enveloped in a cloud of dust. Just then, he found himself accosted by a foot, colored red, which sent him flying.

“That one was for Shadow!” Corey yelled, as he charged the enemy of the world, to punch him, causing the robot to cough up oil. “That one was for Sonic and his friends!” Leaving yet another red streak as he pursued his adversary, he then lifted his feet up, kicking the robot straight up into the air. Metal Sonic, for the first time in his life, actually felt real pain. “That one was for Amber!”

He then circled around Metal Sonic, with his five fold Kaioken in full swing, and charged right through him, snapping the machine’s body in half in a shower of wires and dark petroleum.

As the Uchiha released the Kaioken, he screamed “And that one was for anyone that you may have killed, or anyone I didn’t mention!” The blue metal body of Sonic’s robotic clone hit the ground, shattered and split in two equal pieces. For a second, it appeared Corey Uchiha had won the fight. Suddenly, the robot laughed. Wires began abruptly connecting the two halves of the body, pulling them together with clanking noises.

Corey blinked in surprise as Metal Sonic’s robotic flesh began evening out, as if nothing had happened at all. The robot laughed maniacally as he explained how he had gotten that.

“I should have warned you!” he began, pride showing in his shouts as he continued. “I had my creator, Dr. Eggman, install a regenerative patch into me, shortly before I betrayed him. It allows my body to instantly repair any damage incurred to my body’s design. Whatever flaws in my design that allowed the otherwise killing injury are corrected. In short, it means that you can’t win. But, if you had ended it with an energy blast, you could have ended it all… such a shame. I’ll show you ten percent of my full power. And for your information, against all of your friends, that was only five percent!”

Metal Sonic suddenly began having wind ripple through the area, a red aura surrounding him as he began powering up to one tenth of his full power. Soon, as his power evened out, he began systematically beating up the Uchiha, pinning him to a rock and rapidly attacking his face, causing blood to begin dripping from his mouth. Pain shot all through him. But, in a sudden burst of adrenaline, the Uchiha quickly kicked his adversary in his face, stunning him for a moment.

“I don’t care if you become one hundred and fifty billion percent of your full power, Metal Sonic! I won’t let you run again! I won’t let the people of Earth down! So, get ready to die!!!” The angered Saiyan declared, powering up. Torrential winds battered the area, and a few mountains cracked. Shorter ones crumbled to the ground as he powered up. He began powering up to twenty times his normal power. “Twenty… TIMES… KAIOKEN!!!!”

Metal Sonic couldn’t believe the power level he was scanning as his power started to peak… “Power level’s… twenty six million…? No, now it’s twenty seven million?!”

Before Metal Sonic could react, more torrential winds began blowing across the area, from all directions, as Corey began powering up a Kamehameha wave.

“Ka…me…” Corey began, a large ball already beginning to form in his hands, lightning around the ball as it began charging. “Ha… me…!” The Uchiha continued pouring energy into his attack, shooting up in power as it swelled to maximum size. When it could be charged no more, he thrust his hands forward, screaming the final phrase of his technique. “HA!!!” A huge beam of energy was blasted at him, crumbling the metal off of Metal Sonic’s body. Wires were exposed, but even those were not safe, as some wire peeled off his arms and legs. By the time he got out of the beam, he was a total mess. He leaned against a mountain, cracked by the past powering-up sessions. Oil leaked from out the space between his every wire. The blue metal coating began appearing again, and the wires began becoming repaired.

“I won’t lose to you!” Metal Sonic screamed, his voice full of rage. “It’s time to die, stupid monkey! I will never die! I’ll show you twenty percent of my full power!”

More red energy began gathering around the robot, and it began mixing with lightning. More mountains crumbled, and rubble began rising up from the mountains. Then, without warning, a large shockwave coursed through the air, and all the rocks fell back to Earth.

Before the now tired Uchiha could react, he was grabbed by the face and thrown through the air, and a cracked rock formation. Metal Sonic chased, and punched the face and stomach of the hero, He then sent a large laser after him, which was a direct hit. When the dust settled, one pants leg of his knee down was gone completely, and half of his shirt was burned away. Blood dripped from wounds on his chest and face. Burns also covered his body. Just before the final blow could be struck, a sudden blast from the Hyuga, Zach, caught him off-guard. This gave Corey enough time to climb to the top of his rock formation.

“You die first, Hyuga scum!” Just before Metal Sonic could carry out this plan, he sensed something.

Corey Uchiha glared at him, a swirling ball of energy in his right hand. Surrounding him was the demon aura. His whisker lines now looked like cuts, his wolf-like ears now yellow, matching his three tails, and his eyes bright yellow, matching his aura. The Sharingan was not visible, yet it was there.

“I will never die!” Metal Sonic screamed, turning to him and charging from below. “NEVER!”

Corey jumped off his rock formation, causing it to crumble, and he thrust the Rasengan forward, screaming out the attack name as it connected.

“Get him!” Zach shouted, crumpling to his knees.

“IMPOSSIBLE!” Metal Sonic screeched, flying through the air, and landing some distance away, thought to be destroyed… however, his head and patch survived…

“We did it!” Corey shouted gleefully, not knowing how much of Metal Sonic survived the nearly mastered Rasengan. He released his demon chakra. By this point, Shadow and Tails had regained consciousness. Tails immediately checked on Sonic, and discovered that Sonic had slipped into a coma.

“Sonic’s nearly dead! I’ll get him to a hospital.” Tails flew off, with Sonic’s comatose body in his arms.

With Corey, Zach, and Shadow, victory seemed secure… but was it?

Chapter 18: Legendary Super Saiyan

The trail left by Corey’s Rasengan had deeply cut the ground, leaving a very distinct trench through the ground, that had knocked a hole straight through a mountain, making an arch-shaped hole in it. More trench-like ground went through the range, ending quite a distance away from where the Rasengan had begun. Where the trail ended, a pile of wires and blue metal began assembling together.

“Darn him!” Metal Sonic hissed, having gotten his legs together, and re-armored. “When did he learn that technique?” His eyes glowed with anger as his body became fully repaired. “I will kill… them!” A blur soon shot to behind the three heroes.

“Hmm?” Shadow the Hedgehog said, red eyes looking around the area for any sign of disturbance. Suddenly, a burst of wind shot through the area, towards where Metal Sonic was currently located.

A red aura appeared around him, lightning coursing through every part of the aura. He began powering up.

“No… it can’t be!” Zach shouted over the rushing winds.

“Impossible!” Corey screamed in response, as Metal Sonic’s power level began shooting up.

“50 percent of my full power!” He then glared down at the three of them, grin spreading widely across his robotic features. “Did you really think I’d just let you live? No, no—I’m going to smash you all like the bugs you are!”

With that, Metal Sonic charged Shadow, and grabbed him by the face.

“Shadow!” Corey yelled, trying to help his friend. “Don’t do it, Metal Sonic!”

“So, now you beg for your lives?” Metal Sonic asked, sounding almost sympathetic. Then, as his tone changed back to the evil tone, he angrily issued his declaration: “It’s too late to beg for your lives!”

A red laser began charging in Metal Sonic’s free hand, barely thicker than a pencil. He then thrust the laser forward.

For the next moments, everything moved in slow-motion, as if it were a nightmare that you couldn’t wake up from. The laser ripped from the tip of the robot’s finger, slicing through less than three feet of air before entering Shadow’s right lung. The laser then ripped through the tissue, and any bone there, before passing out Shadow’s opposite end.

Shadow’s body went limp. Then, as Metal Sonic threw the unconscious hedgehog through the air, he shot a palm blast, catching the ebony animal in the blast. It seemed to vaporize him…

Corey’s eyes widened. “That’s enough, you monster!”

Zach noticed something, through the eyes of his bloodline trait. His chakra points… are turning golden?!

“You’ve killed so many innocents, horribly injured many more!” the Uchiha screamed, clenching his fists hard enough to give him minor cuts on his palm, blood seeping from in between his fingers. “And now, you may have destroyed one of my friends!”

Corey began powering up, screaming his ultimatum once again, “This time you’re going to pay!! Bastard!!!!”

Corey’s hair began spiking up feverishly, before it retained a definite shape—five locks hanging out to his left side, one lock pointing out to the right side, and two hairs sticking out. His eyes, previously black, turned completely green, and a golden aura appeared around him. The ground cracked at his feet, and debris began to rise from his standing area.

Metal Sonic began scanning his power level again. “Power level’s… thirty million!” Then, he watched as it continued to rise. “What’s with him—his power level keeps increasing!”

Then, an explosion of power rocked the mountains, shattering more mountains than the previous power-up sessions.

Corey was facing the ground, hair golden, and angry. His muscles were more defined than his base form. He had become… a Super Saiyan!

He slowly lifted his head, and then, he glared up at Metal Sonic, who had an expression of total shock on his face. He didn’t even notice Corey was charging him at top speeds until he was kneed with enough force to send him back a significant amount of yards. Before he could recover, he was elbowed twice in the face, kicked in the torso, and then sent flying with a roundhouse kick.

The new Super Saiyan proceeded to fly after him with a kick prepared, which connected directly with his face, before he kicked him with the opposite leg in the same second, sending him towards another direction.

Metal Sonic was in total shock at his opponent’s new transformation and the incredible power against him.

“Corey… it was obvious to me the very day we fought at this very location. The transformation you utilized against me was very similar to this…” Zach thought aloud, “You’ve become… a Super Saiyan.”

“You’ll regret this!!” Metal Sonic shouted, just before an elbow connected against his head, sending him flying towards the ground.

“That’s enough.” Corey stated, as if it were just the beginning of the fight. “It seems you can destroy entire cities, but you can’t even manage to kill a single person alone, can you?”

The robot quickly formed a large amount of energy orbs, no bigger than ping-pong balls, and began shooting them at the super-powered Uchiha. He just raised his hand, collected them in a single ball, and shot them back at the originator. He stood there, regenerating the lost limb as the result of the blast as he panted.

“Who… who are you?!” the robot demanded. Corey was already defeated, until he transformed.

“You really don’t know?” the Super Saiyan Uchiha mocked, clenching a fist in front of his face. “I am the hope of the universe, the Saiyan frozen for over a millennium, the Uchiha who won’t desert his friends or kill them. I am Corey Uchiha, the Super Saiyan!”

The golden aura expanded outwards and grew seemingly fiercer, yet it retained its calm, gentle flame movement.

“It’s over, Metal Sonic.” the Super Saiyan declared, hands at his sides.

“If that’s how you really want it,” the now desperate Metal Sonic declared, “I’ll show you my full power! There’s no way you can destroy me! Get ready!”

I haven't had time to read this yet, and what I've seen is pretty good, despite the fact that I reaaaally don't like crossovers. Mainly what has impressed me here is your motivated attitude. Keep up the good work man, and keep posting. You've probably put a fair deal of effort into this, so well done.

Edit: By the way, why are there always characters name Corey and Zach in your fics? Not criticizing the use of 'em, just wondering.

Chapter 19: One Hundred Percent Power: The Robot Overlord Emerges!!

Metal Sonic’s power began rising as he summoned the seven Chaos Emeralds to his aid. A red aura, mixed in with golden lightning, appeared around him as his power surged upwards. His blue metal coat cracked and flaked away, revealing a glowing golden layer of metal. His spikes that resembled Sonic’s hairstyle spiked up and elongated, looking more like Shadow’s, all curving up except the top middle spike.

“His power is surging…” Zach Hyuga noted, watching as the robot’s visible chakra points turned from blue to yellow. “So this is his maximum capacity?”

Having finished powering up, Metal Sonic, now resembling Sonic’s super form with the exception of the hairstyle, turned to Super Saiyan Corey, eyes full of hatred.

“So sorry to keep you waiting,” A sarcastic chuckle came from the robot’s voice box. “This is the full power you wanted. I am now Super Metal Sonic.”

“Let’s settle this right now!” the super powered Uchiha declared, getting his guard up.

“You don’t know when to give up.” the mechanical doppelganger of Sonic stated angrily. “Fine! This time, I’ll destroy you, just like I did that girl’s parents!”

“’Girl’s parents?’” Corey asked, before it hit him. “You mean Amber?” The golden aura seemed to intensify more, same as Corey’s anger as he screamed, “YOU MEAN AMBER?!?!?!?!”

The hybrid Uchiha charged his opponent, just as Super Metal Sonic lurched forward and disappeared. The Uchiha activated his Sharingan, giving him red tomoe points and a pupil in his eye. He too, dematerialized in a blur.

The two reappeared in one section of the mountains, colliding kicks, which canceled each other out in the long run. They disappeared once again, punching each other in the face once they reappeared. When the super robot reappeared, Corey Uchiha wasn’t with him. Suddenly, the Super Saiyan plowed straight into the machine and took him to the ground, slamming him with enough force to leave a Super Metal Sonic-shaped imprint on the dirt.

“You’re finished, Metal!” the Saiyan screamed, rage definitely getting the better of him. His answer came in the form of being blasting in the stomach by a point-blank energy wave, sending him flying through the air. He recovered in time to see his aggressor smash him in the abdomen, and then was unprepared for being elbowed by titanium straight towards the ground, followed by being showered with ki balls. All of them hit directly.

Super Metal Sonic peered through the smoke. His opponent had to have survived that. He was too strong to have died from that simple attack. Suddenly, a foot, clad in a burnt shoe, smashed him directly where his visual receptors were.

Corey’s shirt was completely gone, save the bottom, which dangled from his waist like a sash. More burns, cuts and red blood littered his torso and bare legs. He then grabbed the fully powered-up android by the head and kneed Metal Sonic there. The Super Saiyan then proceeded to kick his adversary away and then powered up a palm blast, golden from the Super Saiyan power, and blasted his opponent point blank.

Super Metal Sonic landed a few yards below the Saiyan, arm ripped off. The wires quickly formed his new arm, and re-coated it with metal. He then flew up and grabbed the Super Saiyan Uchiha by the feet, throwing him to the ground. Just as Corey hit the ground, he went up in a poof of smoke.

“What?!” the super machine was confused. “A… a shadow clone?!”

Before he could react, he found himself being smashed in the gut, with enough force to completely penetrate the layers of metal and the wires there. The fist exited out the other end. Super Metal Sonic was stunned.

Super Saiyan Corey then proceeded to kick his opponent in the chin, sending him flying backwards. He pursued, and smashed him toward the ground with both fists, only to appear behind him and kick him back up in the air. He then powered up an energy wave, teleported, and blasted the robot point blank, with enough power to penetrate his hole, and blast him in half once again.

The robot regenerated. He shot a glare at the Legendary Super Saiyan, growling: “Curse you! It wasn’t… It wasn’t supposed—!”

“It wasn’t supposed to be this way?” the Super Saiyan jeered, grinning almost sadistically. “Fuck it, I’m quitting.”

“What? What do you mean?!” Super Metal Sonic asked, confused. He didn’t get it. Why was his opponent quitting? “Answer me, now!” he demanded, clenching a fist in front of him.

“Your power level has been decreasing since you became Super Metal Sonic. In fact, you’re at fifty million right now. You’re barely even challenging me now. It wouldn’t be completely fair to keep fighting you, now that you’re as helpless as a baby. You fought against someone who you deemed inferior to you. To make it worse, he was just an Uchiha monkey, right?” Super Corey asked sarcastically. “I’m satisfied now. You’ve been beaten before I even began lecturing you.”

“No… no… You will die at my hand. You and this pathetic planet will face the wrath of the real Super Sonic!” The super robot finally became completely insane. He jetted straight up into the air, forming a tiny energy ball on his finger. It swelled in size, until it was as bright as the sun, and as large as one tenth the size of a red giant. “Say goodbye to Earth! I am the greatest robot Eggman has ever made. All will die!”

He glared down at the Super Saiyan, who was staring up from the ground in shock. “You must be killed by me!” With that, he sent the gigantic ball of energy down.

Super Saiyan Corey knew there was only one chance for Earth to survive this. “Ka… me… ha… me…” He didn’t even move. He just stood there, an aura of power radiating outwards as he abruptly cupped his hands and thrust them forward, a large ball of energy formed in them. “HA!!!”

A large blue beam, two-thirds as wide as the massive ball of death that was going to destroy the whole planet if left unstopped, collided with the super energy ball of demise. It was the final struggle.

Chapter 20: Peace, Forever More

The Super Kamehameha pushed against the sphere of destruction, with an equal amount of force as the Death Ball. The Super Saiyan Uchiha, Corey, was going to end this, or let the planet be destroyed by the completely insane Super Metal Sonic. Corey thrust his cupped hands back, and more energy formed into the space between them.

“I’ll put everything I’ve got into this!” he declared, plunging his hands forward and making the beam widen slightly as more power was put into it. The energy ball was making its way back to the originator, who floated as if he were naturally standing. A small ball of energy formed in his hand, and he threw an energy ball into his own blast, making it stronger, and causing it to push back towards Corey.

The Super Saiyan dropped to one knee, but maintained the Kamehameha wave nonetheless.

“No… it’s not enough? What is it? What am I missing?” he asked to himself, trying to find something to increase the power of his blast without him going all-out. Currently, his Kamehameha was not at full power.

The recoil from the Kamehameha was not affecting the user, but it began affecting the ground, unearthing a glowing purple crystal. The Super Saiyan noticed this, and called the crystal to him by extending his power to it. The crystal floated there, before the glow faded, power used up. The Kamehameha gained a tiny bit of purple lightning around it as it pushed back against the energy ball.


Metal Sonic pushed more energy into his Death Ball as it crossed the middle line. Feeling all hope was fading, Corey called upon his demon. Suddenly, four of the Chaos Emeralds ripped from Metal Sonic’s space, while he still retained his super form. They revolved around the Uchiha, blurs of green, teal, purple, and dark blue, until he grew four tails. He was Yonbi Super Saiyan Corey. White tails grew outward, and white wolf ears did the same. The Yonbi Kamehameha once again pushed away the energy ball.

Zach was watching this event unfold. He watched, through the eyes of his bloodline trait, the Byakugan, as Corey’s chakra became demonic to the very limit that he could control. “One more tail and he would be rampaging…!” he noted. “Five tails and on would cause him to lose control. He must have done some meditating… some serious meditating… it seems the demon has accepted the carrier, and vice versa.”

“I know he can’t win at this rate,” he began, throwing a hand forward and letting his power transfer to his rival. “But I can’t just stand here and do nothing!”

Some one hundred yards away, a badly injured black hedgehog struggled to his feet, and paid witness to the blast struggle. He knew who was fighting, and who was winning. Instead of trying to get back into the fight, he put out his hand, and transferred any remaining power in his body to the Super Saiyan.

Corey was once more, on his knees. “C’mon… just a little more… not going to make it…” Suddenly, a surge of power passed through him, so suddenly it actually caused some skin on the palms of his hands to peel off. The Kamehameha got wider and more powerful. He realized that his allies were giving him their remaining power. He then got an idea. Praying that Amber and Tails could telepathically communicate, he closed his eyes and sent out the call.

“Give me your power. I need to use it to beat him!” he called out telepathically to his other friends. “Give me your power!” it was almost a command now.

The responses were nothing short of an understanding “Okay!” and soon, the power of Amber and Tails flooded through him.

The Kamehameha was pushing against Super Metal Sonic’s Death Ball. Super Metal Sonic put his hands back, as if surrendering, before he violently thrust his hands forward, pushing once more, back to Corey. Amber sensed this, and got on the telepathic line.

“You’re not using your full power!” her plea began, nothing short of telling Corey to use his max power Kamehameha. “You’ve got to let it all out! Think of all he’s done… all he’s killed, all he’s hurt… and make that your motivation!”

“I’m the strongest in the galaxy!” the insane clone of Sonic bragged, about to push in more energy when suddenly, he found a Hyuga’s palm in his chest… Zach’s palm. The hybrid Saiyan dropped to the ground, descending, and returning to his spot. Metal Sonic’s power dropped, and hi
