This tells the story of some stuff that happened (but of course never really happened) while Goku was training for the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai tournament.

note= I am now only going to be writing fanfics and not attending other threads because I've realized people just don't like me. If you respond to this note with an insuilt (which someone probably will like "Gee, ya just noticed that?") than I won't be replying and will simply continue with the fics.

chapter 1

Hhhhm...Goku seems to get stronger when he heals from serious injuries... Korin thought to himself. Goku had just beaten the evil king Piccollo, and he, Yajirobe, and Korin were on Korin's tower.
"Okay! Now I'm off to find my power pole and I'll meat you guys back here!" Goku informed with joy do to the fact that even though Piccollo killed Shenron, he may still be able to bring back his murdered friends.

Goku was on a mission to revive Krillen, Choutzu, and Roshi, who had been killed by the evil king Piccollo. The problem was that Piccollo also killed Shenron, so Goku would not be able to use the dragonballs. However, Korin has indormed him that using his power pole, he can get to a floating tower above Korin's, where the guardian of the Earth, Kami, lives. Kami had created the dragonballs, so he should be able to bring them back. But Kami will not see Goku unless he can beat his assistat, Mr. Popo, in a battle, and Mr. Popo may even be stronger than Goku! So Goku chooses to stay and train at Kami's lookout tower, until he is strong enough to beat Mr. Popo. Surprisingly, Kami emerges from his building on the lookout and re-creates the dragonballs for him. Goku is grateful, but notices Kami is very similar looking to Piccollo. Kami informs Goku that he and Piccollo had once been the same person, but that in order to become the guardian of Earth he had to expel the evil within him.

Then Kami gives bad news to his monkey-like friend. It appears Piccollo re-created himself in the form of his child, Piccollo Jr. This new reincarnated Piccollo has one goal: Defeat Goku in the 23rd martial arts tournament and take over the Earth. Now Goku must learn to control his spiritualo energy, sense the energy of others like he had done once in order to find Piccollo, learn the moves and skills that Kami and Mr. Popo have to offer, and continue training until the 23rd martial arts tournament where he and Piccollo will finally fight face-to-face.

In order to find the unnecasary movements in his running, Mr. Popo is evaluating while Goku runs in a circle around the lookout.

"No Goku! You don't need to pump your arms so much, just slide the arms, not the shoulders. One shoulder should never be infront of the other. Remember the bell excirsice? Your body is jiggling back and forth, which would make the bell create noise, while if you just slide it in one direction, itn wouldn't make any noise, and you wouldn't have any excess movement!" Mr. Popo instructed. Goku did as he was told. "Yes Goku! That's it! I was begining to think you would never get it right!" Goku stopped and smiled, eyes closed, holding the peace sign.

"So what's next? More mind training?" Goku asked.

"Yes, you still have to master your spiritual energy, and once you've done that, I'll teach you some moves. Then we shall fight again, and see if you're ready. Remember Goku, we all have spiritual energy, you just have to connect it. Go ahead and continue meditating, try to sense my or Kami's energy level, and I'll come back to see how you've done," Mr. Popo instructed. Goku sat down and closed his eyes. He relaxed all the muscles in his body. His breathing slowed. He felt something in his stomach. He could feel his power. It was overwhelming. It reminded him of the feeling he got when he used the Kamehameha. He felt exactly like he was doing a kamehameha that second, except that he was calm...Relaxed...And then he felt the feeling spread across his body, and even aroung his body in a small area he could feel it and then he could see it. He saw a blue aura surround his body, while his eyes were closed and he couldn't see anything else. Then he extended it. While his core power shrunk, more energy was being generated into a streem of blue aura energy, which connected to someone else's. He saw that within this other aura was Kami. He noticed that the feeling was a little stronger. It was stronger and the aura was bigger because Kami was a little stronger than Goku.

I can feel it...Just like how I found Piccollo that day...There! Goku then sensed the child reincarnation of Piccollo. He...He's not quite as strong as his father...I can take him! I can do it! I can do this and save the world right now before he gets stronger! I know I can! I have to...NOW! "FLYING NIMBUS!" he called.

To the East nimbus, go!" Goku commanded. They flew off into the East.

"What-? What is he doing! He couldn't be going to face..Oh no...Goku! Stop!" Kami was sensing Goku's power and then ran out of the temple yelling for him to stop. Goku just continued flying. Oh no...I feared this might happen. He thinks that he can defeat Piccollo, but he doesn't have fullk control over his spiritual energy yet. I pray Piccollo doesn't know that he is Goku, or else he will try to avenge his father. Goku doesn't know that the power level he feels varies depending on how much of the power is being released. Piccollo was only releasing a smaller amount, but if Goku shows up he will unleash all of his wrath upon him. Kami thought to himself.

Goku is flying over a forest. He senses something below.

"Down there nimbus! He's a mile or two that way," Goku pointed, "Just drop me off here so that he won't see us on our way there," Goku informed.

Goku! Don't try to defeat him! He's too powerful! Kami communicated telepathically.

"Naw, he's not all that strong! I sensed his power level, it isn't as big as mine!"

Goku, he was surpressing his power! He obviously has more experience then you!

Goku stood on his nimbus, thinking of what to do.

Goku?

"Nimbus...Take us down,"

GOKU! No, don't!

Will Goku fight Piccollo, or will Kami and Mr. Popo stop him in time? Will Goku's progress in his training go to his head? And if they do fight, how could one win if the story goes on in the 23rd martial arts tournament? All this and more, next time, on DBGJ!

Dude, this is okay but I'd say stick to one. Putting 100% of your time and effort into one is much better than doing more than one at a time half heartedly.

I put 100% into each chapter of each fic, I have 6 fics now including this one, and 3 of them I haven't worked on for a while so I'm gonna start them back up soon. Each chapter (of 1 fic) takes about a day to finish if I'm trying to do my absolute best, so I'm trying to make a schedule of what fic I'll work on each day of the week, Sunday being a break day, so I can put 100% into each one. You think that'll be alright or is it still too many? It would be the equivilant of working on 1 fic for 6 days a week. If I'm just doing a quik fic where I'm not working too hard, it takes about anm hour. I'm gonna try to work 3 hours on each chapter of each fic, which should do pretty good and lave me time for other stuff. So do you guys like this one so far? Any changes ya think I should make?

You should work on one finish that and go on to the next one, you'll be able to think of better ideas for each one then.

Well I can still put full effort into each fic if I'm only working on one a day. I don't have to think about one while I'm writing the other, so every Wednesday is this fic. Thee is a schedule of all the fics in the Goten one.

chapter 2: Piccollo's spirit energy finally released!

"There he is! I sense him, just about a mile away," Goku spoke to himself. He was in a forest looking for Piccollo. Suddenly, two blue energy beams, which would look like floating streams of water to the average eye at first glance, came towards Goku's back out of nowhere! I've got to concentrate to find him... Goku was trying to sense Piccollo's power, but accidently he sensed the power of the energy beams instead. Without being surprised at all, he back flipped over the beams and by the time he'd landed they disinagrated into the air, as energy eventually does. Goku turned around ad started running in the direction the beams came from.

"He's coming this way! Its Goku, now I won't have to wait for the tournament!" Piccollo spoke to himself. He began to power up. Goku sensed the shift in power.

Oh no! He's even stronger now! I was only barely able to beat him at first, but now he'd defeat me like I was nothing! Goku thought. He was scared so he turned quikly, almost tripping and falling, and dashed away huridly. Suddenly, Piccollo jumped from the bushes and tried to punch him. Out of instinct Goku spun out of the way and flipped over the enamy's back. While hovering over the green alien he grabbed his shirt collar. He pulled Piccollo back by his grasp on the collar, right into the already extended fist of Goku's. Piccollo fell, but when he got back up, he was not amused.

"Is that the best you can do? And you're at least twice my size! Hahaha!" he mocked.

"Waaahh! Oh no..." Goku yelled in horror. He had landed on his bottom after the attack. He tried to scurry away quikly, very much like a scared dog, but his tail was caught by the opponent. Suddenly, a ball of light landed next to the evil warriror and his weakened opponent. When the light faded away, Kami was standing in its center. "Kami!"

"Kami!?" Piccollo growled.

"Yes it is I. Listen Piccollo, you want a good fight don't you?" Piccollo nodded in agreement. "Good. Then you'll listen to my offer. I am training Goku to become very powerfull. In two and a hals years, at the tournament, he'll have emense power, and will be able to put up a better fight, and a great challenge. Is your lust for revenge over your father so great you would not take the chance to do something you love to do, and fight a powerfull and worthy opponent?"

"Hhhhmmm...Fine. But Goku, know that in only a little less than three years, you will have to face me, and you will be defeated easily, because I will train too. I am growing faster do to being my father's reincarnation, because he was an adult when he died, so I'm quikly grrowing to fit into the form of his body. When we fight, you will be facing a warriror and a king, not a child," Piccollo bargained.

"Sure, just...Just let go of my tail....Nnnggh!" Goku struggled.

"Very well, we will all meet once again at the world's martial arts tournament," Kami concluded. Piccollo rose into the air and flew away.


"He was...I didn't know...I didn't know it was possible for ANYONE to be that strong!" Goku shook in fear.

"Goku, your training is not yet over. Do not fear, for when it is complete, and you are fighting in the tournament for the third time, I garentee you will face Piccollo and win, and I garantee you will win the entire tournament, after two times in which you got so close," Kami assured.

"Yeah...This time I'll win...This time I'm gonna show them that I'm the strongest in the world! And I will be once I've beaten te other contestants!" Goku jumped back on his feet.

This child was meant to some day save the Earth. I predicted it, Baba predicted it, Roshi predicted it...And now the predictions will come true...If I train him in time. Kami spoke in his head.

"Goku! Its time t get back to the lookout. I have a lesson to teach you...A history lesson..."

"Sure, as long as it'll help my training. Although I don't get how history will do that," Goku agreed.

As soon as they got to Karin's land, Kami took Goku on to his back, and flew upward to the lookout. When they got there, Mr. Popo brought a book out of the twemple. It was a fairly big and seemed to be a text book rather than a novel.

"This book contains the entire history of Mutiato's teachings. It will guide you through your training for your net few lessons," Mr. Popo explained.

"Mutiato? Hey, I met him when you put me in the Pendulum room thingy!" Goku informed.

"We know, he was the teacher of both the turtle and Crane hermits," Kami replied.

"WHAT!? So that guy that reminded me of Roshi...He actually WAS the old man? But how did he get so young looking?" Goku questioned.

"You travelled through time to when he was young and Mutiato was still alive," Mr. Popo explained.

"So Mutiato...He's dead?" Goku replied.

"Yes Goku, he died sealing Piccollo within a small box, using a technique known as the evil containment wave, but Pilaf opened the box, and you defaeted him finally. But of course the effort was futile, do to the fact that he is still alive in a younger form," Kami explained. "When he died, Roshi and Shin split his teachngs into two sides, the turtle and crane, each based on a differet aspect of his style of martial arts. You have learned the turtle style, and have become adept in its ranks, so we will teach you the crane style, and then continue with the training of my and Mr. Popo's and Piccollo's unique techniques."

"So I'll learn how to fly like Tien and Chioutzu? Awesome!" Goku exclaimed.

"Yes, and much more comes with it," Mr. Popo answered. Kami noticed the sun setting.

"Still, however, you haven't finished your mind training. You have to learn what Mr. Popo has been telling you. Remember, faster than lightning, but more suttle than a rock," Kami remembered. "Now start meditating, working on the mind, and we'll see you again tomarrow." Mr. Popo and Kami walked into the temple together as Goku sat down and started his meditation.

I sicken you? Dude, I'm writing a story for you and others to enjoy, pointing out mistakes is normal, but insulting me? I sicken you because I didn't happen to satisfy all of your entertainment needs in my fanfic which I was writing for others including you? That is just cruel. So you want more action, fine, just ask.

That was good I liked it a lot, for DS: not every chapter should contain a fight or more action and since this is the start of the fan-fic you shouldn't judge it so harshly yet. Even though it was great, your spelling was not that great, you need to spend a bit more time before you post, spell check it and all, read it again make sure it makes sense, then post it. Good work can't wait for next chapter. =]
