This forum is for fiction of all sorts, be it anime-related, original, poetry or any other form.

The following are some rules and guidelines to be adhered to by all. I, and any other future Fan Fiction Moderator, reserve the right to add or amend any rules as we see fit.

1 - All regular board rules apply unless otherwise stated below.

2 - Your opening post must contain a chapter or prologue, however short. If you want to discuss ideas on your fanfiction, the Writer's Block is the place to visit.

3 - Post all kinds of fiction here. Use the appropriate Topic Prefix at all times, when in doubt ask the moderatory here.

4 - It is strongly suggested that you use spell-check while writing, if grammar isn't your strong point. If your work contains too many errors, your thread may be locked until you PM me with an improved version.

5 - Please refrain from 'hi-jacking' other members' threads for the sole purpose of advertising your fiction. Posts that contain a blatant form of advertisement may be editted - those that are made for the sole purpose of advertisement will be deleted. If you want to advertise, your signature is the place to do it, as well as the General Discussion thread in the Writer's Block section.

6 - Double posting is generally not allowed, unless you want to post a new chapter to your story and noone has replied. Generally, posting for the sole purpose of 'bumping' your old thread is not tolerated - post an update instead. In any other cases, unless you have something really productive to say in an old thread, refrain from double-posting.

7 - Spamming of all sorts - not allowed. Posts and threads for the sole purpose of spam will be deleted. Off-topic discussions are allowed, but to a logical minimum, and only if your post also contains things relevant to the topic at hand.

8 - Do not bump a dead topic, unless you are the topic creator and want to update your story. Dead topics are those that haven't been updated in a long while, or whose creator has left the forums.

9 - Please, no excessively mature content. Tag your work with the appropriate age rating, if such is neccessary. Mature content is allowed unless it is extremely graphical. Use your common sense - if you have doubts, PM Punxx or Island before posting with the chapter / part that contains the questionable content. Inappropriate content and / or content without the neccessary age rating tag may be editted or deleted, and you may be given a Warning.

10 - Mature language is allowed, unless you... write your story with the sole purpose of cussing. Please, even if it's just the words of your character, keep racist comments to a neccessary minimum - we do not want hostilities popping up, especially for no reason. Needless to say, racist comments outside your story are not tolerated in the slightest (read forum rules).

11 - When reviewing, try not to be excessively harsh on the writer, especially if it's a new member and / or new writer - unless he states he desires strict criticism. State your opinions politely and give suggestions on improvement. Flaming is not tolerated (read forum rules).

12 - We'd prefer it if you kept it to one topic per fiction - unless you absolutely need another thread for something related to it - the Writer's Block is usually the most appropriate section. Threads like "Do you like this fiction?" will be deleted without warning. If you have any doubts, consult Punxx or Island via PM.

13 - More of a suggestion than a rule - try to read and review as many stories as possible. Being active usually works in drawing more attention in your work. Please do not complain constantly if noone is reviewing your fiction - be active yourself, and activity will rise on its own.

14 - Don't be afraid to post your work. If you do, we will probably be able to help you improve your skills as a writer. Have fun writing and reading!
