Location: New York City. A modern metropolis, filled with towering skyscrapers and huge malls, hundreds of thousands of people roaming throughout its busy streets. Today was no different. The midday sun shone bright above the mounds of steel and glass, its rays reflecting beautifully across the water surrounding the towering Statue of Liberty. The weather forecast was promising for today, yet noone could predict the storm that was about to break...

Time of Day: Noon.

OOC: Yes, you have the entire NYC at your disposal. Feel free to go wild. You know the drill - fight till there's only one standing. Good luck to both of you.

[OOC: OH YEAH~! Prepare for Sephiroth-like destruction! >:D ]

Grimmjow stood elevated in the air few feet away from two skyscrapers, yet many yards away from the ground. His hands tucked away in his pockets as he stared down at the busy streets; his eyes filled with boredom. A large frown ate away at his face as he removed his right hand from his pocket to clutched several times. "Oi oi, why sent here? Tsh, bunch of low-lifes that don't deserve to live." His right hand began to glow light blue as he charged up a cero (A direct blast sent from his hand(s) ), slowely aiming it towards the ground covered by humans.

Parker could tell something was on it's way. He dashed out of the Subway he had been dining in and turned the corner into an alley. "It's just another day..." he muttered while pulling his blue-striped shirt over his head. It revealed a bright red jump suit. There were several shimmering black lines that could almost pass for veins running across the surface of the suit. They weaved over each other like a grid.

The Daily Bugel star continued his transformation into the amazing Spiderman. The sun had just set and the wind was cool but outright refreshig. He paused to sniff in a deep breeze of New York air; heading west while picking up speed from the Hudson river. He'd certainly need it against a blue-haired skeletol maniac from some unknown period of Japan. He pulled the tight red mask over his face and adjusted it's neck region ensuring it comfortably overlapped the collar of the suit.

Spiderman turned to the wall and placed his hands against them. Practice made perfect and now he could quite quickly dart up and down walls in any direction. At the top of the reddish-brown brick building he gazed the city. A shiver went down the spider-mutant's spine and he turned to see a large blue energy sphere being aime toward a recent block. Spiderman extended his hand toward a bill-board and ejected a long string of web. It stuck to railing and he pulled himself forward.

The man in the sky somehow floated. "Looks like I'm gonna have to drag him down" thought Spiderman as he pulled himself to the ground within the crowd of people. He had refilled on web capsules and was ready for anything. They walked idly buy and noticed him. A man started to speak "Hey! Spiderman--", the hero interrupted "Stay down...!". His arms were at his sides shaking with anticipation. Both sets of fingers twiched as if he were about to play quickdraw.

He stared intensively at the man above him. "You aren't firing that," he declared simply.

OOC: Was I in too much control by being there before he even fired it and having time to prepare...? :O

Just as Grimmjow was about to unleash his wrathful cero, a sudden man came swinging into the scene below him. Tsh, what now...an insect? A gnarl shot its way out of his frown. "Not firing it eh? Who are you to stop me?! You are just like them--" A small grin creeped upon his face, "WORTHLESS!!" Grimmjow aimed straight at the man, unleashing the cero. The blast shot forth like a canon ball, devestating the area around its target when upon impact.

Spiderman maintained a steady composure. The blast was much larger now that it was fired.

He waited until it was only 100 ft. above him. Then, when it cast a large shadow over the city-block, the amazing "insect" shot web to his left and right. He weaved them and pulled out more and more fluid so that it's volume was larger than that of the cero. "Wow, a blanket of web! Dad, look--" exclaimed a 10 year-old boy hiding behind his SUV. Spiderman smirked under the mask.

"Not exactly. It's more like a--" he stopped releasing fluid and held onto both ends as the blast was descending only ten or so feet above the blanket, "trampoliiine~!".

The cero attack pushed deeper and deeper into the blanket. It was pretty heavy so he sunk into a stance and widened his legs beyond shoulder-width. Straining his wrists and triceps, Spiderman was able to heave the blue catastrophie back at Grimmjow with high precision. A loud "whipping" sound could be heard as it recoiled and was sent back to it's own creator.

OOC: I have a feeling this is gonna be pure-win >D

Grimmjow's facial composure changed dramatically from bored to slightly confused. Watching as this man managed to fling back his own attack against him. As the cero ever so near, close enough to arm's length, Grimmjow immediately slapped it with the back of his right hand, sending it straight towards the sky. After reaching several yards into the sky, it violently exploded sending semi-shock waves into the air.

Grimmjow never took his eyes off the man. The frown once on his face disappeared before the large grin now clearly visible. "AH, you are strong enough to do such a thing?! SO FUCKING FANTASTIC!" Almost instantly Grimmjow rushed down towards the man, winding his right leg back aiming to kick him straight to his left rib.

As Grimmjow began to fall back from the sudden counter, he let out a loud laugh as he thrusted his left hand up to the man's face, taking a full grasp of it. Within that hand Grimmjow charged up a slightly less-powerful cero, unleashing it fully onto the man's face. He then flung the man towards a nearby building full force as he himself was falling to the ground.

Immediately he caught himself with his now free right hand, flipping himself up in a crouched position. Grimmjow thrusted himself forward with his left foot sending his right fist towards the flunged man's head.

[OOC: OH ANB, we need to make something understood. The audience surrounding us are not allowed to see Grimmjow due to the fact that he is a spirit. Of course you can see me because of the fact....well, that we are fighting one another. Sorry that I did not say something about that earlier. D: ]

Spiderman is slumped in a crater formed out of the side of a stone building. He was certainly surprised at the man's raw power and reaction-time.

The mask was burned up but not enough where it shriveled off and revealed his identity. A small patch was missing on the right side where his head was squeezed by Grimmjow's fingers (less so than the thumb). Then Spiderman saw the man coming with his arm cocked. He looked left and right and saw nothing that could help. So he quickly formed a web-shield to cushion the impact of the punch. In fact, the shield was pretty sturdy.

It was umbrella-shaped and protruded about two-and-a-half-feet outwards. Spiderman slowly started standing up out of his slumped position in the crater. It was a 40 ft. drop but neither fighter would be bothered by it.

[OOC: Oi, you like to be precise with measurements, eh ANB? ]

As Grimmjow gained close to his victim, a grin filled with pleasure stumbled on his face as if he knew this would do it...but that would soon be for nothing. Grimmjow remained motionless, baffled by the strange webbing that somehow supressed his fist. What kind of shit is this?! He wiggled his knuckles around at it as he stared frustratingly at the man mocking him by standing back up.

"HA! YOU THINK SOMETHING LIKE THIS WILL STOP ME?!" Grimmjow swiftly took grasp at his zanpakto (sword hanging from left waist) with his left hand and swung upward at the webbing, easily cutting through it like butter.

Following the upward swing, Grimmjow shot himself up in the air, close to the middle section of the skyscraper infront of him. With one, quick diagonal slash upwards it appeared as though he had randomly slashed towards the building. Grimmjow looked down at the man with a large grin, "HOW ABOUT YOU TRY AND STOP THIS!!" Instantly following the taunt, a slice became visible along the building, all the way from one side to the other, that followed the angle that he had previously cut towards. Unstable like an avalanche, the building began to crumble downwards towards the man, and the victims that happen to be nearby.
Massive chunks of stone fell randomly around the proximity of the man.

Spiderman looked up at the man for a moment and just smiled. He said in a voice with just enough glee to cause irritation: "What a tired old trick!".

Spiderman puts up on hand and catches the building. He simply waves his hands so the people clear the area and then heaves it in the other direction (so he could keep and eye on Grimmjow).

Not wanting to stand there for another accident-waiting-to-happen, the arachnid mutant extended his hand toward the peak of a sky-scraper. He released some web and hung on, tugging to ensure it was tight. Then he pulled himself up and swung around the building. Spiderman was coming around the corner and amazing swiftness and agility. He extended his legs straight and bent his upper torso so that his body was in a V-shape. He was aiming for Grimmjow's stomach to double-kick square in the mid-section.

As Grimmjow lost sight of the spider-like man he let out a sneer, "Tsh, running away when thrown a--" Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed someone swinging in high speed towards him; it was the man! Grimmjow swung the blade out in front of him to block the incoming kick. The side of the zanpakto intercepted the attack, but Grimmjow seemed as though he was being pushed back. A straining grunt poured out of his mouth just as Grimmjow was shot back in the precussion.

Like a missile Grimmjow flew back against the glass of a nearby skyscraper, forcefully entering into the building only to exit it from the opposite side. He was still flying back into yet another skyscraper; entering and exiting just like the previous.

Spontaneously, Grimmjow forced his feet against the air, immediately stopping him. A large grin erupted on his face as he extended his right arm, embracing it with his left. Suddenly, large strands of blue light from separate directions began to converge on to the palm of his right hand. "EAT THIS! THE STRONGEST CERO!" A small ball emerge in his right hand that dramatically increased in size in a matter of seconds. "GRAND RAY CERO!!!" Immediately the ball blasted out of his hand into a large beam that swelled 8 times Grimmjow's size. The two buildings between the two fighters immediately obliterated upon making impact with the beam. With great speed, the beam quickly forced its way towards its target.

"This is bad," Spiderman noted as calmly as he could.

He saw the powerfull wave obliterating the nearby buildings. Spiderman looked ahead to see two large parallel steel towers. They were about 4 or 5 blocks away from Grimmjow and his beam was closing in fast.

"That just...might...work--" Spiderman noted as he jumped down from his webbing rope and front-rolled through the air, landing on a concrete roof-top. He dashed across with the sun setting and lighting up the entire city that never slept. Then the man in red leaped over the edge of the roof-top and landed on top of te steel tower to the right. It was very thin in width but at the same time tall and sturdy. He frantically released web; starting by firing a strand diagonally from the top right to the bottom left of the parallel structure. He did the opposite and in 12 seconds weaved a giant web. It looked just like an authentic, standard spiderwebs in design only a couple hundred times bigger.

The blast was only 50 feet away now. "He must have lost a lot of power with that, however he's doing it," Spiderman noted, "But then...I've used up about to capsules at this point...".

Wanting to ensure the beam wouldn't cause a catastrophie even if it got past the extra-thick webbing, he ran across the street to an unfinished billboard painting. The workers left a half finished advertisement for Lunesta, the man grinning in his phony sleep. Spiderman frantically climbed the tower and tore of the billboard; Lunesta in tow.

But it was too late! The beam was literally inches away from the web now. "I guess I was already lucky just to be able to make the web, BUT--" he held the giant rectangle in his right hand and leaned to his right to gain momentum. Then, with all his might and precision, swung the board vertically just before the Cero made contact with the webbing. A huge vibration went for nearly a mile as a rusty layer of metal made contact with an awesome concentraion of spiritual power. The cero bends the board in two and slowly stretches the lower half of the spiderweb. It inches further and further but then picks up speed! "Come on!" Spiderman prayed.

The cero then died down and exploded. Spiderman covers his face to shield the shock-wave. The magnificient web was now sizzling with smoke and tattered. He immedately jumps down and runs through the city to intercept Grimmjow. He had to get him away from the city and more importantly from the people.
