Joker sighed slightly as he sat against the tunnel wall. His body had hardly been bruised, but cuts and burns had now littered his body. To add to that was the gradual loss of clothes. The young male had originally had a toboggan, sleeveless shirt, baggy pants, and shoes. Now, all he was left with now was the pair of pants that had become shorts due to fire.

“Well this has been an enjoyable little tournament. Been sent around the earth and had to use my Black Hole. It’s a pity that swordsman got sucked into it. I would’ve loved to fight him again.” The fighter muttered to himself as he kept his legs bent towards his body, arms lying on those and his head lying on his arms. Anyone that might see the gravity controller would think he was sleeping.

Outside the entrance, the arena was being fixed to its former glory. The fight with Auron and Joker had completely destroyed the fighting area as well as parts of the surrounding stadium. However, even as the arena was being rebuilt, the voice of spectators could easily be heard. That single noise kept the blonde warrior smiling as he anticipated the final match.

After near an hour, the male had actually fallen asleep. He had grown bored of thinking of the next match and simply decided to take a short nap. Due to this, he hadn’t even noticed that the crowd had started cheering. The final match was only minutes away due to the stadium now being finished.

OOC ~ Good luck, babe. >_<;; ... irony seems to hate us. xD btw, if I win, I get to stay up 'til 6 next weekend, okay? ^_^

The female's eyes, once more, scanned the area, this time anticipating her opponent. It was this ... everything she had ever desired to obtain from winning this tournament was almost in her hand. Almost. She had no clue as to what her opponent would be like, nor what kind of competition they would present. There were things she had hoped she would never have to resort to in order to win ... but now, the sin was prepared to go to any lengths in order to prevail. Admittedly, her opponents had been ranged - at first, a creature she could not put her finger on ... then, a perverted sage who had mentally undressed her ... finally, her first female opponent, who had caused her quite the amount of lower back pain. It was difficult for her to really know what to expect, she had seen so many ... not just in the opponents she had faced, but also those she had seen entering the tournament, what seemed like an age ago.

"I guess this is the final test ... I want it enough." The female's voice was barely above a murmur as her heels clicked against the ground ... she had begun to pace further towards the arena, clearly labelled as 'under contruction' (the black lettering was difficult to ignore.) "I'm ready for ... " She paused as she sensed the presence of another. "Anything." Her crimson eyes moved downwards, resting upon the blonde male known as Joker ... clearly not knowing that he was to be her newest opponent.

"Aaaaaaaand now, the moment you've all been waiting for - our two finalists, Joker versus Lust!!!" A male voice rang out clearly, aided by a small loudspeaker, above the noise produced by the swelling crowds. The female's arms were already crossed beneath her ample chest, as per usual, the oruborous moving with the rhythm of her breathing. Now, she awaited her opponent with more anticipation than ever, something of a fire brewing ... her desire to fight had outstripped that of winning the previous match ... now, she was painfully close to her prize, and only an unknown competitor stood in her way.

This was going to be very much fun indeed.

The crowd roared in happiness as the final match began. The two semi-final matches had been full of pure action and made every spectator wonder how they would be surpassed. On the other hand, the maintenance hoped that this match would not be as destructive as the last one.

However, even as the cheers resounded around the stadium, Lust was the only one standing on the arena floor. Her opponent was no where to be seen. There were no curses coming from the entrance or the cries for help coming from outside of the stadium. People began to wonder if this fighter had indeed run away. Only as the action fans started to quiet down did they hear a soft noise coming from the entrance.

As the place grew quiet, a snore could easily be heard. Anger slowly rose in every spectator and even the announcer. He had guessed that Joker was an idiot, but to actually fall asleep and not wake up before the final match made him consider the blonde man’s mentality.

“WILL THE CONTESTANT JOKER PLEASE COME TO THE ARENA! IF NOT, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!” The announcer yelled as loud as possible into his microphone. This time, the voice reverberated inside the tunnel entrance causing Joker to jump, his head instantly hitting the large trident leaning above him.

“Jeez, such a nice dream too…” The young male muttered as he grabbed the weapon and walked out towards the battle field. As he walked out, the finalist was met with glares from every member of the crowd. “Uh…oops?” The fighter said though not expecting to get out of this ordeal.

OOC ~ Yeah, but there's always a catch - you know the kind of late I mean. =P no cheating. xD

There was more than just a note of impatience within the female's glance, as she scanned the crowds, roaring desperately for their entertainment. It was beyond her as to why so many people would enjoy seeing two comtestants beat all living hell out of each other ... it had simply not crossed her mind before. But now that it came into her train of thought ... the entire concept confused her. As for her personal reasons for being there ... they were completely clear. Perhaps it was hypocritical of her to accept that the entrants of these tournaments were not nearly as twisted as those of the individuals that came to watch them.

"C'mon ... " The female sighed, fidgeting a little in her usual place, crimson eyes flaring slightly. True, forfeiting the match would mean that she won, but it was not an honourable or fun way to do so. She would rather lose than have not fought for the title. Ebony hair falling past her cheeks, this time, the female hung her head as the announcer's voice resounded quite loudly through the stadium. To anyone in close enough proximity (which seemed to be none of the spectators, not that she was even audible above the electronically aplified voice), a small sigh could be heard ... something that barely escaped her lips.

"I take it we can begi--" The pale female stopped in the middle of her sentence as her gaze fell upon her opponent. She had not expected to fight the blonde male from the tunnel - his appearance within the arenae was something of a surirpse. He seemed to be the most normal of all her prior opponents.

"Lust." She spoke quietly, inclining her head towards the blonde male, as if expecting his response, before slowly making her way towards him ... it seemed reasonable enough to allow him the first attack , this time ... a smirk crossed her face as she thought this; using her lance-like nails would be far too much of a boast, even this late in the tournament.

A smirk materialised upon the female's face as she heard Joker's comment. A near silent clicking of her tongue could be heard, as she continued towards him, feeling it only necessary to reply.

"You're labelling the male species as brutes, and females as weak?" She smirked, not taking any real offense in the statement herself ... had she been human, it would have been far different, but she had no need to class herself as anything right now. In a sense, she had very much more to deal with at this point in time ... though her opponent seemed like a fool, there had to be some kind of reason as to why he had come this far; perhaps it was a reason she was very close to finding out.

"Beauty? My, you're certainly not a shy one ... " Lust commented, as she broke into a run, upon seeing the male begin to attack. It was just what she had hoped for, a chance to counter, rather than to make the first move. However, she had not expected Joker's use of a weapon ... maybe it was time for the female to bring out her claws after all. The talons extended in a move the audience had seen countless times before, as the female gained speed, though rather than aiming for Joker himself, aiming to make sure she could not be attacked by his trident - seemingly not realising the kind of loggerhead she would cause between the two 'weapons'.

"See ... I can wield weaponry, too." She commented with yet another smirk, as she neared the trident, perfectly prepared to block ... her talons clashing with all the force of another blade, though wrenching the female's arm back painfully, giving her no choice but to launch herself away from the arena, hoping that she would be able to fit another attack in from her current position. She cursed in almost silence, words barely audible above both the yells of the crowd, as well as the still resounding clash of her lances upon Joker's trident.

OOC: Meh, can't be assed to do it atm. If I get time later, I might. apperantly Word and MFG don't mix well. XD

The blonde haired warrior smirked as the girl outstretched her nails to become blades of their own. The last three fighters he had faced all used a close range type weapon, but this girl could easily attack from long range. To add to that, the three earlier all seemed to use some sort of magic, but this opponent looked to be that she could only use her claws.

Joker was quickly taken away from his thoughts as he was stopped dead in his tracks. Lust’s claws had hit the main force of the weapon and it quickly brought the male to a jolt. Due to this, he had hardly any time to lower the gravity around her thus destroying his plan.

“Now’s what’s with that? First ya come towards me and now ya shy away? With a name like ‘Lust’, I expected you to be more straightforward.” The male said with a smirk as moved his arms in order to lessen the pain created due to the stop. “Alas, it seems like I’ll have to be the one attacking. Don’t cry if ya get hurt, beauty.” The finalist said as he twirled the large trident again before laughing forward.

This strike was a dead on strike. There was no lifting of the gravity around Lust. It was only more speed due to less body mass. That decrease in mass helped as well when the trident wielder jumped into the air sending his body up over at least five feet. While in the air, Joker increased his body’s mass causing him to drop while decreasing the mass sending him at a diagonal angle at frightening speeds towards the black haired female. Once close enough, the warrior somersaulted forward and brought his weapon outwards planning to make a vertical slash while keeping his openings low.

OOC ~ Sorry about the lateness, babe >_<;; ... you know what it's been like with coursework and electrics =<

"Not what you expected, hmm?" The female's face seemed to take on a permanent smirk as she controlled her speed, coming to something of a halt, though not for long. Her ebony head whipped round, body following, as she kept her crimson eyes on her opponent. The wine-coloured pools darted in various directions ... perhaps not even locking on to Joker for a decent while. It would seem that she was simply calculating her next move, though was flawed in the way she did not prepare herself for Joker's.

"And yet you expect me to cry? Maybe I just didn't want to hurt someone with such a cute face ... " She commented, showing no sign of shame, or embarrassment ... not even a hint of nervousness. Instead, the female continued fowards, in the hope of landing at least one hit ... stopped dead in her tracks once more as Joker propelled himself into the air. There was no way she could block that ... it would exert much too much force upon her own arms, and in spite of the fact that death was no obstacle for her, she knew that being slashed into pieces was most certainly not the most pleasant experience.

All the same, her blades were crossed in front of her, in defense, as she calculated her movements. A little pain was worth much, much more than a lot of it, and if she could just find a way ... he was hurtling towards her at an insane speed, she did not have long ...

The female winced painfully as the trident collided with her weaponry. Her arms were pushed back - just as she had suspected, it was an uncomfortable manouvre, and one she had hoped to avoid. Her mind could have easily worked faster than her reflexes in this instance, however, it was to no avail. She winced all the more as the weapon pushed upon her, threatening to break her counter at any given moment. In her eyes, if she did not push against the weapon, in spite of the pain, she would be sliced to ribbons ... however untinentional that may have been.

"It ... looks like ... we have a bit of a conundrum ... " She smirked, though it did not fully disguise the beads of sweat beginning to develop upon her attractive forehead. She urged her blades forwards, breathing heavily, in an attempt to at least prevent herself from too much harm; perhaps a little absurd, considering death was not an option in the long run.

Darn, this is a tough decision. I don't even like to vote, hmm! And the two of them...they play their character's out very similarly. More then just love rubs off on each other, apparently.

A better description of the characters and scenery would help. Easy to understand what is going on regardless.

B.I seemed monotone but effective. Joker seemed very in-character. Again, both of you did well. B.I analyzed the situation very well in the last post. I never saw anything like that in the rpg (at least description-wise).

Darn it...

I'm giving this to Pyro. I'm basing this vote on what seemed to be a more fair playing-style then his opponent; and I enjoyed the performance.
