Custom Characters in the Battle! Section?

I've been thinking for a while, and since the RPG is closed, I figure that many people want to try out / RP as custom characters, but here in the Battle! section so far the only characters allowed are already existing characters.

So, I'm considering to allow people to use custom characters here at least temporarily, until the RPG opens up again, provided you let your opponent know a bit about whoever you are using before the battle starts (of course, use of custom characters has to be agreed on by all participants of a fight).

Thoughts on this?

Good idea forever, I think. That way people who don't want to get involved in the RPG can still use their own "creations", and with Naruto only this era, people may want to play as other original characters of theirs.

Agreed. Also people in the RPG may want to use their character in a battle in Battle! section if there's no current sagas going on.

Yeah, I like this ... RPG or permanent, I don't really mind - but yeah, I have characters that I figure would be quite fun to use outside of the RPG or whatever.

I remember me and Akatsuki_Encore doing something a little similar, although starting off using existing characters, and it worked pretty well, so I think this could turn out fun.

It'd also give people a chance to get used to and practice with their characters a little. =D

Eh, an okay idea until the RPG kicks in. after it does, would there really be a point? It'd be just like having another RPG except without stats.

Alright, I'll implement that rule for now, and when the RPG comes in, we'll see.
