I just had a brilliant idea! :D

K, sooooooooooooo here it is:

I challenge any artist that wants to join in a battle of epic proportions!
Basically, we'll be using traditional materials-- paper (or any other type of canvas) and any type of medium that you want (it can be ink, pencil, colored pencil, paint, watercolor... whatever.)
Note: I know some people have a hard time with scanners and the like, so taking a picture of your piece is just fine, as long as it's presented to us. :]

Here is the theme: A scene from JAIF's MFG Chronicles! Any scene you like!

Requirements:
-There is a time period! But don't worry it's not ridiculously short.
I'm going to give it two weeks (Friday the 8th of February I believe it is...) from this Friday the 25th (so that we can give time for people to join and time for people to pick what scene they want).
-Entries are preferred in color, but if you don't have the colors, don't like to color, etc-- then I do encourage a good amount of detail as well as shading. (that's really not too much to ask considering I'm giving you 2 weeks... <__<)
-References are completely allowed... (cause I know I'm going to use references... even though I don't know what I'm going to do yet...)
-Tell what scene you're going to do in this thread once you figure it out, that way no two people (though I doubt this will happen...) have the same scene and thus can be compared based on composition, movement, and overall quality of the piece.
-There is no size requirement (but I don't want just a figure standing on some grass on a 2"x5" piece of paper.. honestly.)
-Backgrounds are required, I know.. I hate them too, but it's good practice. ;]
-Uhh... I'll leave this slot open cause I feel like I left something out...

Reward?:
I don't really know about rewards... but I can give reps..? And I'll feature your piece in my sig to show off? Ummm... I'll also draw anything you want if you like... or... something. I'll be more creative later.

Alright, so here is the my dilemma: I don't feel like scanning a fan-fiction for my theme/subject. Call me lazy or whatever. I'm sure it is a well written work of literature, but is there anyway you could summarize maybe three main points that we could work with.

Note: I'm not trying to bash the story. I just don't want to spend a week reading through that story. :P

EDIT: Oh, if you did that . . . I would enter. Presumably.
