I like the first one better.

I like the stock on the first one -- if you could tweak the colors to blend with the current skin better, and maybe do something a little different for the background on the right side, that would be great.

If the PS color-picker is giving you problems, have you tried ColorPic?

I could just remove the border completly or make it thinner if its in the way. I know i just pulled a cop out withthe bg..I couldn't find a cool pictire so i just smuged it up lol.

Much better! That one looks like it would blend with the rest of the site pretty well.

I don't think the bg needs to be another pic. What about just using a more interesting brush?

And what about "MFG Forum" for the text? That's what most people seem to call this place. Maybe a textured font along the lines of the one on the banner for the main site?

Sorry if I'm asking for a lot, but I think this could go from good to great with just a few more tweaks.

uhh lol..I just smudged it up..no brushes so I used some this tme but It doesn't look that different lol. the MFG behind it was just a thought and just have fourms up front but I can remove it..and i feel like i'm spamming with all these versions lol.

I agree with Jonny.

The last version is much better. Very close now. A little more polish on the text and that bg on the right, and I think we're there.

FWIW, I think having it a little plain is OK -- that will allow it to blend better with the current skin.

Big issue with the text. All of it. The theme would go better on a any pirate/One Piece fansite (The "MFG FORUM" resembles coral reef and is just plain hard to read. The outline initials look as if they were cut from a treasure map *o*).

OOC: Hey, uh...how do we vote on these...? And would it be political-suicide for me to make yet another banner (This time I would do calligraphy and not pics)???? Or should I revamp my old one from the ground up...?
