“Now this is more like it.”

Lucrecia smiled faintly to herself, the young woman appearing upon the shore of the lake almost as if out of thin air; surely a trick of the mind, for there was no way such a woman could possess an ability like that. In fact, looking at her, it was hard to attribute any kind of abilities to her; oddly coloured hair aside, her seemed like an ordinary human being, taking in the beautiful view of the lake front. She smiled faintly, extracting a cigarette from her lips and dropping it onto the grass, crushing it beneath the trainer at the end of a pair of jeans, raising a hand to shield her eyes from the sun’s gaze as she dropped down onto the grass, folding her legs in a meditative like stance.

“A day like his shouldn’t be spent cooped up in some smoky old bar,” she mumbled to herself, completely ignoring the fact that her old habit was probably what had helped contribute to that as she set her eyes upon the lake, it’s surface gleaming and sparkling in the reflected light of the sun above. Reaching into a pocket, unravelling a large piece of paper which she lay it upon the ground before her, a number of pencil lines already webbed across it. Plucking a pencil from behind her ear, she spun between her fingers and laughed lightly. “And a time like this is great for inspirati-”

Plop.

The raindrop splattered against the woman’s face, and for a moment, she blinked in confusion; an instant later, when the downpour brought upon by the akatsuki leader got into full swing, she grimaced, half hunched over. White bangs clung to a soaking face, and the drawing she had just unveiled, assaulted by the rain, was ruined, lead spreading across it, and paper destroyed.

“…Great…”

Orochimaru knew that since he was caught in the rain, there was no avoiding detection. His presence was already known to the wielder of the Rinnegan. However, he didn't want to leave without at least trying to see what was going on. If Pein was here, perhaps other Ninja were as well, though the question of how, why, and who remained unanswered. Despite the futility of the act, Orochimaru crept silently through the tall grass, a task made easier by his diminished size. When he reached the source of the rain, the Akatsuki Leader was there all right, and so were others. His ninja skills kept him hidden from the naked eye, though he didn't know if any others had noticed his presence except for the Rain Ninja. The young Sannin stayed low and listened. Although Orochimaru was sure that he could hold his own and come out alive against a single body of the Rikudo Pein, there was no need to jump into a potentially avoided battle when information could be acquired unscathed.

[Chuckles]

Daiki continued on the dirt path until he reached the edge of the lake. He fet the rain across his face and down his coat. He was now totally emerced in the evironment. The sounds of the water ripled arcoss the land and embraced Daiki. He plopped down on to the bank and watched the water flow back and forth. Although he enjoyed the peace, he still had to get into West City. He could even meet new people on the way as well; but for now, it was time to rest. Daiki then let out a sigh and layed back in the rain.

The Rin'negan barely flickered to a direction hidden in the mist, as Pein sensed a familiar presence.

"It's getting too crowded in here." Pein said solemnly.

"Suiton - Arashi Kyoubou no Jutsu!"

The ominous roar of an incoming storm resounded across the lowlands, but the thunder never came. Instead, a massive pillar of water sprang out of the lake as if heaved by a gigantic spoon. Combined with the rain itself, it fell down on the heads of everyone in the vicinity in a series of powerful torrents, but when the chaos would subside, the survivors - if any - would not find Pein amongst them.

OOC: Basically, you are all attacked by compact beams of water from above. Also, Amegakure no Jutsu is finished with this technique, so the rain stops in the next post. Why am I attacking you and then running away? Well, we'll see.

"Tch..."

Orochimaru picked himself off the ground from the barrage of rain that had just hit, and hurt. He was drenched, he was hungry, and worst of all, he had gained no information on a potential enemy, though information had been obtained on him. Still, the humor of the Leader of the Akatsuki retreating after all these years of pursuit brought a chuckle to Orochimaru, whether he was a cause of it or not. In the end, it mattered little. Strategies could still be made, and cunning plans put in motion. It's what he was best at. It was time to get out of this place, though. It held no interest for him anymore, and the other persons would be up soon as well. With a quick somersaulting leap towards the city, the pale youth ran in the Shinobi fashion; head low and arms behind his back.

"What?" The humongous wave of water was much more powerful than Krudule had expected after all to a Saiyan it was only water. He stood there bracing himself only for a second when he realised that he would be squalled away, he immediately launched his body full of cerise Ki; that made the water blaze turn into a crimson red crashing against his armour and he soared from the water incarceration that he was sure would kill all; whom couldn’t fly like a raging dragon.

He hovered in the air like a sun of detrimental energy he was sparking red flames from every pinnacle of his body.

"Whoa…….that darn guy" Krudule kept drumming dials into his scouter he looked tremendously worried, he was looking for survivors. How could a person launch water like an energy blast her thought, he had seen nothing like it in his life. He constantly turned his body, and his head looking for people but he couldn’t.

The woman scowled, plucking a strand of white hair from her face and squeezing it with her thumb and forefinger before her eyes, watching the pelting rain run from it. There wasn’t much point in trying to stay dry now- such was, more or less, impossible, especially as the rain showed no intent of letting up; indeed, it almost seemed to be getting worse. Despite herself, she couldn’t help but wonder: it had been such a good day seconds ago, how had it changed so quickly-?

A silhouette fell across her, and instinctively, she glanced upwards, her sight met with something as blue as her own eyes, and infinitely more deadly. A second later, there was a crash of water, the column gouging and scarring the earth, more harshly than the sharpest blade against the frailest skin. And yet, not a speck of blood landed anywhere near it; not even a single drop of the crimson lifeblood spoiled the waterfall. Why?

By some odd coincidence, Lucrecia appeared further away from it, standing upon the grass with the rain beating upon her, but quite obviously unharmed.
The question, of course, was how. She had a different one in mind, and her expression reflected it with an angry growl.

“Who the hell ruined my art…?”

[Chuckles]

Daiki couldn't help but here the action happening in the lake infront of him. He stood up and began to watch the exitement from the shore. He thought about joining in, but decided it was better off him just wait for exitement to reach him. It was hard, but he could manage.

"Hehe..looks like fun! Ohh well," said Daiki as he sat back down on the bank. It was smarter to conserve his energy than to rush off, but he could hardly help it as it seemed to nag at him like a beconing child. He then, however; thought to himself that it was not his fight, so no need to interupt. So Daiki began to lie back down and rest once more.

[Kei]

"I don't even know why I picked these things up... They seem almost attached to me," a low voice spoke, standing at the shore of one side of the lake. A Saiya-jin stood there, his hands raised just enough so that they were in his eye view. Laying over his hands were a pair of black gauntlets that appeared to belong to some evil knight long ago.

The dark metal rose all the way to the middle of his forearms, each metal finger flowing into a single, sharp point at the tip. The curves on the back of the alloy resembled flames, as if they were troubled with when cooling. The clanging sounds they made weren't something Mato was familiar with, giving him the idea that they weren't from this planet.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to try them out."

OOC: Fighting Fury.

[Fury]

"Of course they feel attached to you." A voice called out in Mato's head from no where, yet everywhere due to the eerie echo that pounded in his brain. The voice, strangely distorted, sounded almost demonic.

From the shadow of the wood, Fury slowly began to make his entrance. The fluidity with which he moved mad it seem as if he was gliding atop the soft grass below him. Fury was indeed a strange man.

"Without good to counteract evil," he raised his own hand in the air and stared at the polished silver and blue gauntlet on his arm as he continued to invade Mato's mind with his own thoughts. "there can be no balance." His distorted voice continued to penetrate the saiyan's brain.

"The one whose hand is devoured by evil shall forever have a hand in darkness." This time Fury's lips moved along with his words, and the voice in which the words came was completely different. Before the voice was low and slow, but this time the words rolled smoothly off Fury's tongue in an oddly impressive display of English.

Fury's mouth opened yet again but this time nothing came out. Slowly he closed his lips and again the lakefront was shrouded in silence. Until Fury raised his hand to face Mato that is. With a sudden flare of his ki, Fury sent a rain of oval-shaped ki blast toward Mato.

[Kei]

The attack caught the Saiya-jin by surprise, but he rose his gauntlet covered hands in front of his face, blocking the attacks. The explosion covered his view of Fury; the smoke that followed didn't help either.

Fury was a strange man, in Mato's opinion. He came from nowhere and knew, what seemed like, everything about the gauntlets -- he even had a matching pair. A set of black and white gauntlets, almost as if they were complete opposites. It didn't matter to him now -- it seemed he had to fight the man.

"At least tell me the name of these weapons," Mato demanded, the clanking of the gauntlets' fingers following the words, signaling what he was referring to. He didn't attack yet, giving Fury time to respond.

That didn't mean he didn't intend to fight with all of his might, however.

[Fury]

For a long moment Fury simply stared at the Saiyan known as Mato. His eyes moved carefully over the man and took in the details of his physique. Fury had spent many years sculpting his own body and he had become quite good at reading others simply from their build. He made a quick note to himself concerning Mato not being as built as Saiyans he had seen before. Mato most likely specialized in ki control or speed.

"Zeus..." He muttered as he clenched his own gauntlet covered hand into a fist. "And Hades..." He slowly nodded toward the gauntlet on Mato's hand.

[Kei]

"...Hades?" Mato asked quietly, looking down at his hands. It seemed as if the gauntlets began to glow with a demonic ki when the name was spoken, reacting to it as if it were a trigger. He smirked, locking his eyes with Fury's again.

"You should greet him for me, when you arrive!" the Saiya-jin yelled, charging towards Fury. Unlike the mutant, he hadn't analyzed his opponent. He wasn't one for trying to completely figure out an enemy from only looking at their body -- he could learn all of that during their fight.

After several steps, Mato's right foot tapped against the soft dirt that was wet from the lake under his feet, pushing his body a few inches into the air. When he hovered in the air, his body began to spin, crimson ki forming around his body, twirling violently. The ki, now mixed with a dark aura because of the mysterious gauntlets he wore, pushed his body even faster towards Fury, threatening to crack against his chest.
