Pein Rikudou ~ Help.

Well, I want to get the whole Six Paths of Pein thing on, but since being able to control more than one bodies would give me a considerable advantage, I'll have to make it respectively hard to acquire.

Here's what I've thought:

First Pein needs to summon the King of Hell Statue to this dimension. The King of Hell Statue will be essentially a large ki (chakra) storehouse. Pein (and whoever) will have to donate their ki to it to fill it up.

That ki, along with a great amount of stamina, will be used to create the piercings Pein uses. First he needs to create one set for himself which will allow him to control the bodies, then for each set he creates, he can acquire one more body.

But to get each body, he must first get a suitable corpse, which means he must first kill another member's character or a suitable NPC without inflicting irreparable bodily damage.

Onto the bodies themselves. When they are acquired by Pein, they automatically gain Pein's current level. Their class and stat distribution does not have to be the same. However, they begin with no attacks.

Now, from that point on, they can train and acquire attacks, build weapons etc like the main body. However, there's one major catch. Instead of having their own stamina, they share stamina with Pein, practically meaning that instead of being able to train one day each body for 3 stamina, I'd have to split the stamina between the bodies. If I had 3 stamina, two additional bodies, and decided to split the stamina equally, I could only use one stamina per body for training, item construction, techniques etc.

Each body is allowed to learn a number of custom attacks equal to the number of custom attacks Pein has (including the starting ones). The three first techniques each body learns cannot exceed 500 ki in cost, like the starting techniques. Each technique has to be learnt individually by each body, applying the stamina rule.

Even then, Pein cannot simply use the bodies. He first has to summon them through a technique (whose cost naturally increases the more bodies Pein summons at once), and then they require upkeep, which is deducted from all bodies' ki pool. If a body runs out of ki, it vanishes.

Here are my idea on the individual items and techniques needed to create the Pein Rikudou:

Name: King of Hell Statue
Description: [insert image]
Stamina Cost: 30
Effect: The King of Hell Statue can only be summoned by Pein. It can hold up to 100,000 ki which can be donated over time by Pein or other characters, provided they sit atop the statue's fingers.

Name: Samsara Conduit
Description: A unique set of black facial piercings.
Stamina Cost: 12 + 30,000 ki from the King of Hell Statue
Effect: Allows a wielder of the Rin'negan who wears these piercings to control another body with those piercings. Only 6 of this item can exist at any given time.

Name: Gate of Samsara
Ki Cost: 5,000 / body
Effect: Allows Pein's original body to summon other bodies wearing the Samsara Conduit to the battlefield and to control them. For each body summoned all of Pein's bodies need to pay an upkeep of 1,500 ki for each of the user's posts to maintain them.

Eh, that took long. Anyway, I've added a bunch of disadvantages to having more than one bodies, so I believe it's fair for everyone now. Building up these bodies to a suitable extent would take me a lot of stamina that others could use for training and screw me over with 3x my stats so yeah.

I hink this is a cool idea; it makes it more interactive, per se, with the rest of the RPG and "body snatcher" Pein would be cool. One question about it though: how would you donate ki to the king of hell statue?

If all it's doing is holding ki, you probably wouldn't be able to use it mid-fight or saga... but far as I know, there's no way of donating ki outside of battle, so...

Also,shouldn't stats.. remain at their original users? I mean.. on one hand, it makes it a bigger threat if he kills, say, Brutus, or a saga boss-while also meaning they don't reieve an unexplained power-down- and that lower stated players don't recieve a sudden power-up.

Anyway, thats just my opinions it it.. I think this would be a pretty cool idea, if ya could actually get it to... work in the RPG

Can they have tiers of power? Say I want to Edo Tensei SSJ9999 Broly and Mr. Satan: The first's power being maximum (5) and the second's being weak (1). Each tier having a predefined damage rate like...Broly's being 9 billion and Mr. Satan's being 50. I figure health wouldn't matter for Edo Tensei, since as long as I donate Ki to them, they can just regenerate damage next turn, provided Sandaime doesn't jump in and seal their souls. I was thinking of something like 2000 Ki per person summoned, up to 5. Then, 1000 Ki must be donated per turn to keep the attack going. It can be canceled or it can just disappear if the Ki runs out. The disadvantage (I think it was mentioned that attacks over 900 ki must have a disadvantage. If not, then I'd like to be dis-disadvantageous, of course.) would be that Orochimaru would have to devote full Ki concentration to what was being Edo Tensei'd, which would keep him from making use of any other special Ki-requiring techniques without canceling Edo Tensei first, but not from attacking and moving normally otherwise. Also, Edo Tensei could only be used with proper corpse preparation and once a battle. Once dismissed or forcibly canceled by lack of Ki, new sacrifices would need to be obtained.

Like that, I'd have to be level 20 before I could make use of it, since the max technique Ki of 2000 would then be available.

In other words, when you're using one body, that body has the full stats. When you bring out two, they share the stats, without necessarily splitting them. Just treat the bodies like...extra limbs. Changelings have tails, yet they aren't required to split stats for an extra body part. Pein's bodies are essentially one, so just treat them as such. But when calculating damage and things like that, do it from the stats that they have collectively. It's like having six separate bodies for one character without splitting power, you know?

And obviously, having more bodies is going to increase the variety of techniques you can use, so it's better to think of it this way: You're using your character's full power when all six bodies are in play, and when you're only using one or a few of them, you're only using a part of your character's potential power.

And you don't think that would be peinfully (lol) overpowered? Of course I could have just done that, but the reason I sat down and devised all this is that your way would make for a massively broken character >_>.

Well, Pein's bodies aren't summons, but whatever. If they don't have stats, how do you measure their power then?

Just following what was agreed on. anything that isn't the individual character cannot have Stats.

So as I said, just treat all six as the same character. They can share the stats, and no matter how many there are, the stats remain static as a collective. No body possesses individual stats, unless only one is fighting. When more than one is fighting, the stats are not divided amongst them, but instead treated as one collective set.

That's basically Role-Playing six characters at once, except with them all having the same Stats.

No.

It's more like having a character with...lots of arms and legs. They're just segments of the same body, parts of the same collective... They don't each have stats, they are all part of the same collective stat. If one of them sustains injury, the Health goes down normally. The Health left is...whatever remains after damage calculation. As I said, they don't have individual stats, they share the same set of stats. Think of it like growing extra limbs, as I said.

Yes.

Except Sakon actually has a second person- Ukon -who is part of him, yet can also act as a separate individual. Pein is six parts of one whole.
