Wouldn't that require splitting experience or restarting the RPG?

I mean, if one character is Level 45, and suddenly another comes in for Level 0 for the same person, it wouldn't make sense... well, maybe it would, but...

The RPG shouldn't need a restart to allow multiple characters. The whole reason the level system was created was to allow people of lower levels to rise quicker than those of higher levels.

Edit: That's what I'm assuming sdince I read something similar to that somewhere.
