Battle: Insanus Confusio[Vivi] vs Lucrecia[Eragon]

The heart of the vast wasteland between the lakefront and the bar; one could almost feel the tranquillity resonating in the air, a result of its isolation and emptiness; it seemed almost untouched by the hands of man. A set of mountains created a sort of half-ring at the far side of the fields, almost like an enclosure for the animals that dotted the landscape, dappled brown hides clashing against the blooming hills. It was peaceful, quiet and, aside from it’s inhabitants, empty…

Which was why the figure sprawled on the grass smiled slightly, her expression one of calm contentment; white hair splashed messily against blades of grass, which would stain her shirt and jeans, but she didn’t really seem to care. In fact, she hardly seemed aware of anything that was going on around her, as though she had been swept away in the calming aura that surrounded this place. It made a change from loud-mouthed idiots and torrential downpours; one she welcomed. The opportunity to relax was rare enough for one like her, and to be able to do so in such surroundings, even rarer.

A pity, then, that soon, this Garden of Eden would be reduced to hell.

My char sheet. All stamina up to today has been spent, and any attacs I learn during this fight will be updated after it, so I don't use them by accident. I used todays stamina before starting this so, I think it's fair...

Insanus was most obviously puzzled. Although Nature to many is a most aesthetic aspect of existence, it is but only a needless and dynamic distraction to him. A most impressive area unfolded as Insanus opened his eyes; it was filled with wide open fields, thriving animal life, and blessed hills. Although this maybe a simple composure to the common goer; a most perplexing being resided below the scraggly and crippled tree in which Insanus perched. Through weary eyes he stared in a most obsessive manor at the fair girl under. Above a large patch of long bladed grass she relaxed in an eased frame of mind, even going so far as ruing her clothes on the dirty ground. Drool formed on the blackened corners of his cracked lips and gravity slowly began to take its toll; causing his spittle to stretch downwards. The foul mixture of saliva and bloodied snot finally reached it's breaking point at about two feet down. With a loud disgusting plop it slapped down into the open mouth of the girl. A quizzitive look crossed the beaming red eyes of Insanus as the girl looked matching his observations. With a fanged smile Insanus cocked his head in a menacing gesture.

"You smell delicious. I WANT YOUR FLESH."

The girl’s eyes jarred open, her expression contorting into one of revulsion as the roll slid down her throat; predictably, she bolted up, and seemed as though she were about to be sick, clasping her throat and coughing violently. That same look materialised as the demon’s demands grated in the air, like a saw cutting through metal. She raised her gaze, settled it upon Insanus’ hungry face. A quiet groan fled her lips.

“Why does this sort of thing always happen?” she asked with a shake o her head, as though the beast, perched like a bird could possible have the answer… as though he could even know what she was talking about. What she had meant was why people like him seemed to turn up everywhere; why she couldn’t be allowed just ten minutes to take in some scenery without a spiky-haired punk causing a typhoon, or some demon spitting (she sincerely hoped it was spit) down her throat. Neither question would be answered, not that she had expected them to; instead, she just heaved herself to her feet and folded her arms in annoyance, sliding the cigarette from one side of her lips to the other.

Something was different about her; something more than merely the external changes of appearance. It had been a subtle change, but the woman was now dressed in something more formal, almost resembling robes. A white, sleeveless uniform, banded with a gold strip along her shoulders and open neck, it could almost be described as resembling the old martial arts uniforms of a master. Her hands were covered with thick, brow, fingers less gloves, and about her wrists were strapped large, equally oversized pieces of rigid white material that resembled the leaves of a delicate flower; those pale additions must have been a formality, as to use them in battle seemed awkward.

Battle, however, seemed to be the furthest thing from her mind. She lifted a hand ad waved it limply in his direction dismissively, piercing him with a look of boredom and irritation.
“I’m not interested in you right now. Get along, shoo.”
