Battle: EPIK BATTORU: Itachi [Nikushimi] vs. Jiraiya [Eliwood21] & Piro [RandomPenguin]

[Nikushimi]

Itachi said nothing. He remained in his hunched posture, panting desparately, using all the strength he could muster merely to stand. His right hand trembled as it rose to his face, grasping over his right eye and holding it as if in pain. He shuddered weakly, unable to keep a steady gaze, yet still, he did not fall.

"..."

Without warning, the Uchiha exploded forward in a burst of speed, charging headlong at Jiraiya and Piro. Such a reckless maneuver was as clear an indicator as any that Uchiha Itachi was fighting with neither his mind nor his body, but his soul.




OOC- It's not over yet. It's only been two pages. I want this to at least go on for four. D:

Jiraiya eyes widened as Itachi instant bursted into a speeding charge towards himself and Piro. Jiraiya intended to met Itachi with the same type of attack; he charged forward with greater speed while performing hand signs and inhaling deep.

Katon: Endan! (Fire Release: Fireball)

Jiraiya shot out the similar fireball as before straight towards the sprinting Itachi. After following the fireball close enough to its target, Jiraiya jumped up in a forward diagonal to appear over Itachi, winding himself into a semi-spin, and thrusted his right foot towards the top skull of Itachi.

Piro dodged to the left and span around so he was behind Itachi. he then proceeded to sprint after itachi trying to grab a hold of his cloak while thinking "i must be careful here the last to times i attacked him directly he dodged and i ended up hitting Jiraiya by mistake, i won't let that happen again."

Piro noticed that his stamina was getting low as he had been injured by that fire attack that Itachi had used earlier "i must hold out untill i get an oppertune moment or at least support Jiraiya he seems to be doing okay not having been hit that much."

As Itachi ran, he could feel the warmth of the approaching Jutsu. As strong as his will was to win, he could not afford to take the attack head-on. The chance he was waiting for came when Piro entered the scene, following behind him in an attempt to grab hold. Closing his eyes, the raven-haired shinobi focused, concentrating on his next move and drawing forth a large amount of chakra. No sooner had he finished than a clone formed behind him in a puff of smoke, allowing Piro to grab it. Itachi himself came to a stop, crouching down onto his hands and knees and allowing the forward momentum of Piro and the clone to carry them over his back, tripping them towards Jiraiya's fireball. It was a close call. Unfortunately, one detail went overlooked: that of Jiraiya plummetting towards him with his heel outstretched. By the time Itachi noticed it, the kick struck a terrible blow to his left shoulder, slamming him down on his hands and knees.

"Ugh...!"

Seizing what little of the opportunity he could, Uchiha Itachi grabbed onto Jiraiya's extended leg with both hands, gripping it tightly.

"I can't win if this keeps up. That other guy will keep attacking, leaving openings for Jiraiya to land a blow. There's no choice; I have to risk it."

Taking a gamble, Itachi cast his Genjutsu, dispersing into a torrent of squawking crows. The birds revolved around Jiraiya, blocking out most of what he could see, flying in and pecking at him every now and then. Outside of the Genjutsu, Itachi stood with his hands in a sign, looking extremely fatigued.

"Now... To end it!"


OOC- Allright, RP. This is your chance to shine. Itachi's Genjutsu can only affect one person at a time, leaving him exposed to a second attacker (which is why he was reluctant to use it at first; now, he no longer sees Piro as a serious threat, so he's focusing on eliminating Jiraiya).

Also, I forgot to subtract the Ki usage in my last post, so here it is along with this post:

Feeling his leg make contact with Itachi, Jiraiya forced his left arm back, then shooting it forward to follow the kick with a hard punch...but while looking at Itachi, something didn't seem right.

Itachi suddenly dispersed into multiple ravens that began to revolve around him.
Argh! Genjutsu!! Instantly the ravens began to aggresively barrage Jiraiya, pecking and scratching away at his body. Jiraiya landed to the ground, and lifted his arms up to protect his face from the ravens.
Crap, I'll need to try and break through this before it's too late...
Jiraiya moved his hands in front of him performing a hand sign used to build up chakra, hoping to build enough to break though.

Piro caught the Clone Itachi had made but out of the corner of his eye he also caught sight of the real itachi dodgeing away. with a huge effort Piro pushed the clone down towards the ground making it get engulfed by Jiraiya's fireball, this also helped propel him upwards into the air out of the fireball's reach "now to finish the real Itachi" he quickly out stretched his hand and formed Ki round his arm into a blade of ki, as Piro landed he lept towards the now distracted Itachi flying arm first into the unware opponent "Game Over!" he said as the Ki charged blade that was his arm grew inchs and inchs closer to Itachi's upper back. "i feel sorry for you..."

Without a moment to lose, Itachi charged directly at Jiraiya, prepared to strike him down. However, as he attempted to do so, a flicker of movement caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. The Uchiha raised both arms defensively. It was too late. There was a loud slicing sound, followed by a large spray of crimson out into the air. The crows around Jiraiya were gone instantly, leaving him by himself away from the other two. The Ki blade on Piro's hand had hit its mark, driving through part of his forearm and piercing his injured left shoulder. Blood trickled to the ground. The wounded shinobi still did not fall.

"Gh...! Huohhh..." he panted, sweating bullets as he tried to keep once more from the brink of unconsciousness.

Struggling with all his might, Itachi quickly grabbed Piro's extended hand by the wrist, tugging him forward. At the same time, he flung his right fist towards the man's face with the utmost force. As he did so, he let out a loud battle cry, putting the whole of his being into this one attack. It was perhaps his last.

The fist impacted with Piro's face sending shcokwaves of pain across his body. Piro was blasted scraping across the floor. as he slowly started to rise blood was trickling down his face from what seemed to be a broken nose. "h...ow....did...you...kn...ow" with these words Piro fell back down to the floor face first in an unconscious state.

During the charge-up of ki, suddenly the ravens surrounding Jiraiya disappeared. Jiraiya searched around for where Itachi had gone, noticing the collision of his fist to Piro's face.

Jiraiya instintively charged towards Itachi with his right hand following behind him. In that right hand, he began flowing chakra into a slightly larger Rasengan. As he drew closer to Itachi, he performed hand signs with his left hand while taking in a deep inhale.

Katon: Endan! (Fire Release:Fireball)

Jiraiya intentionally aimed the fireball a few inches away from the tips of Itachi's feet as a distraction point. When the fireball struck the ground, Jiraiya charged straight through the resulting flame-wall, extending the Rasengan straight at the right-breast of Itachi.

Itachi stumbled forward with the force of his own punch, panting heavily. He turned as fast as he could to face the incomming blaze, but all he could do was raise his arms defensively. Without even seeing it coming, he was struck directly in the right side of his chest by Jiraiya's Rasengan. The Uchiha gasped in pain, his feet scraping back against the ground as he was forced back. Soon, he was spinning- the whole world was spinning -out of control, until he impacted with the ground some ten meters away. Smoke and dirt poured out into the open air, spreading across the partially-destroyed battlefield. It took a while for it to disperse enough, but when it did, the body of Uchiha Itachi became visible, lying bloody and motionless in a small crater, his shirt almost completely gone. Wounds covered his body, namely, the twin marks from Rasengan's hits. He had survived one, but there was no way he was standing up after two.

"...Ugh...guh..."

The weary, raven-haired man cringed in agony as he coughed, blood running from his mouth and waves of pain running from his head to his toes. He couldn't move an inch.

"...S-...Sasu...ke..." he whispered, his pale eyes beginning to close...



OOC- Uh, good fight, guys? I guess we can carry on the conclusion from here.

[OOC: Oi, it was. It is a shame you were already wounded before battle huh? :( ]

His breathing slightly unsteady, Jiraiya stood his ground, bent forward alittle from his attack. Taking in a deep breath, Jiraiya stood back up and looked at the wiery Itachi. Perhaps it is over now...I am very fortunate that his Mangekyo Sharingan cannot be activated.

Jiraiya gleamed over at Piro to check his condition; unconscious, but still breathing. Jiraiya knew this to be expected, though suprised he was not in such a condition as well. He began walking towards Itachi, "Perhaps now you will provide some information...Itachi?"

[Nikushimi]

Bloody and scraped, lying in the middle of the crater, Uchiha Itachi drew each breath with great deliberation, fading in and out of consciousness. Jiraiya's words came to him in a daze, yet even then, he understood them perfectly. It was these very words that drew a faint smile upon his lips. His face was that of a dead man who was taking some secret to the grave- however, he had no intention of going to any grave.

"Forgive me, Jiraiya-san..." he said softly, "Perhaps some other time."

And with that, the Uchiha's body split into a vast multitude of crows before the Sannin, flying out in every direction. The birds faded into the distance as the Genjutsu wore off, and in the crater, Itachi was nowhere to be found...
