Damn, I remember that calender. Except back then, only Mods were allowed to include specific Holidays and such. I think. Then, that also makes me remember the Random Quote Box. Collecting them all was a bitch, and over half of them were Simpsons Quotes. Those were the major pluses of MFG, along with Profile Comments, Spoiler Tags, and the active Fan Fiction forum.

Dead again huh? Well still better than the last time I left and came back. I guess there's no one to blame really, we had it going for awhile there. I would really like to see this place succeed again, maybe someday it will. I don't know what the hell it'll take to make it happen but hopefully someone will figure something out for this section. Obviously my efforts were a little bit wasted, not totally but a little bit. I would have hoped to return and see this place thriving, but not so much.

Unfortunately I can't be on nearly as much as before but I'll try to pop in once in awhile. Anyone interested in helping out this little forum in my absence?

Sorry man, not much time unfortunately. I only have time at the net cafe across the street from me, and that's few and far between with my schedule. But I'll try to slot in some time tomorrow to come in and have a nice relaxing chat with my old peeps here. Will be fun. Can't say when, all I can say is I'll make the effort, I won't tell ya to wait for me but maybe I'll be able to see some of you online tomorrow.

Yeah, this place was active as hell when I first joined. I guess I'm one of the people who slacked off but that was due in large part to the suckiness of the old boards. I avoided them as much as I could. Now that we've got nice boards again I shall be returning! But not until next month. I'm in the middle of a novel this month.

Anyway, this forum could use a bit of a pick up. We can't always rely on Punxx to come back and boost activity (though that'd be nice if we could. Lol...) I got a word document where I keep story ideas. I guess I could work on some of them. Maybe.

I'm currently in the midst of NaNo and writing 50k words in 30 days takes up lots of time. Which I waste enough of just by browsing the internet. I have not time for fanfictions during November.

My job situation has changed once again and once again I should be able to be here on a more permanent basis, hopefully. So I'll be freshening up this section a little more each day, taking it one step at a time.

Any ideas on what we can do to fix up this section a little more guys?

So, I've decided, while my NaNo novel this year is good it's not really publishable material. Even going through to massively edit and revise it wouldn't really produce anything that could be published in the long run. The story's good but it just doesn't have that catch that'd make it work as a novel. So, come December (assuming it's done by then, it should be) I'll be posting it here. :)

I'll try and go through and edit it some to fix typos and stuff before I post it (50k words in 30 days, you can bet there will be plenty of typos XD) but I wont promise I'll catch everything. Anyway, that'll have to keep you folks occupied while I continue pushing ahead with AH Saga 6 next month. With only 24 or so chapters of that finished I don't want to jump into posting it here too soon. (24 chapters and I still haven't gotten to the actual point of the saga, I'm still doing the tournaments. XD)

For the curious, Saga 6 is looking to be even longer than Saga 5 (which was the longest of them all so far).

So, yeah, expect Graveyard Shift sometime next month.

P.S. Why is it saying there are 89 pages to this topic when there's only 86?

Good to see we'll be having you back here Xyex. Sorry to hear your novel's not turning out the way you'd wanted it to, don't worry though, someday you'll get there.

And I have no idea why it's saying that with the pages. I recently merged the 2 mfg writers topics together and it must have happened during that merge.

I'll see if I can have a look at it in my precious spare time there King, no promises but I'll see what I can do.

Also I've seen a few more popping up here and there, notable names are Josef, Nikushimi and JAIF. Also if anyone's got a chance go and read King Omega's, I honestly have no idea yet but it's all worth a shot.
