Manic's story had some DBZ thrown into it in the beginning, but the only emphasis it carried on later was what Kouta and Bulma had together.

Edit Well, and I guess Supreme Kai not being Supreme anymore, too.

Mixing some DBZ in can always turn out ok. What you guys think of the crossovers?

I think badly of them, usually. If it's like Final Fantasy/Sailor Moon/Dragonball Z/whatever .. h'no. f**k all over that.

I've only read one crossover here. It's Pivitors Ultimate Cruise, it's very great.

Crossovers do have a pretty bad reputation, cause most of them are done quite badly.

Yeah but your crossover is better because you capture the charcaters likness perfectly.

Hence why I said most.

A lot of their fatal flaws are that they just throw characters together without explanation a lot of times.

I at least try to find similar traits in my characters, and have a good reason relating greatly to the overall plot as for why they got crossed over.

I think I'm doing a good job. Thanks!

One should check if the characters and their world fit together before making it.

lol Xyex done a crossover... probably the first good one here XD X-men and DBZ if i remember correctly...

but yeah they are tricky to do, however some characters from 2 different shows can interact quite well together...

I was thinking of doing a repeat-crossover (a remake of a crossover that I did a while ago, but with different characters and an altered story) once I advanced far enough in Elite Union. I was going to get teh permission of several fic writers w/ original characters and use them in a mass-crossover. I was gonna call it "Dimension Rift". But I really want to wait until my story has progressed further, since Cojin is still a kid and isn't up to par yet with many of the other characters. I was hoping to include him as well.

Crossovers can be good, depending on which characters have been "crossed over".

Manic and I were the first ones on MFG to do a cross-over fiction with our own original characters, I think.

Well, I was going to use only original characters. Do you have an original fic?

Meh, not that it matters now. I won't be starting it any time soon, so there's no point in discussing it.
