One-Shot Contest Entries

Here's where you post your entries for the One-Shot Contest once you're done with them. Up until the deadline (which is unspecified for now), you may edit your entry as many times as you wish, so don't be afraid to post it up - you can always fix it later. Remember the rules:

1) Between 1,000 and 10,000 words.

2) The sentence you have been provided with must be included into the opening paragraph of your entry, only edits allowed are those meant to fit the format of the phrase into your writing format (ie, changing tenses or perspective).

3) Entry can be anything, either from an existing anime / manga or otherwise, or completely original. Whatever you can think of, as long as it hasn't been posted on MFG before.

Once the entries are posted, feel free to post criticism and comments in this thread.

Aaaw, mmmaaaaaan...I woulda won the emotional fic contest too if I hadn't waited too long to enter. I just have the worst timing issues, lol.

Yeah, thank you SO much for the insult, JC#1. I really appreciate it. Because I really didn't feel anything when I wrote it at all, and I was as emotional as a wooden board. =/

Had to get that off my chest, but my entry should be up pretty soon (I know, I've said that before. xD ... but I'm off school and in a major writing mood atm), so to stop this being spam, I'l edit my entry into this post if need be. ^_^

Well, yeah, it is kinda late. Don't worry, there'll be a new one after this one ends, maybe even before. On another note, I was hoping to keep this topic for the fics and the comments, and the other one for general discussion, but, whatever =/.

Deadline still not set - I'll be giving plenty of time for this, since it's a rather busy period. But, get to work people. When anyone finishes their entry, feel free to post it up - like I said, you can edit it as many times as you want till the deadline hits.

Looks like BI is going to be first. And you guys are going to get beaten to it by a girl. You should be ashamed of yourselves >_>.
