Dragonball Z: The Alternative Sagas

The Radditz Arc
Chapter 1

Nappa and Radditz’s spaceship pods were rapidly heading towards the Planet Earth at an alarming rate, they were to find Radditz’s brother Kakarot and together all three would both take over the planet under the command of Lord Frieza.

“What could possibly go wrong?” Radditz thought “These earthlings are weak trash! No match for a saiyan warrior such as myself!”

Radditz and Nappa’s spaceships crash landed onto Planet Earth, the two saiyans emerged from out of their pods in their proud saiyan armor with their tails wrapped around like belts and looked around at their surroundings. Radditz in his brown and black armor and Nappa in his yellow and purple armor with a black outfit made with special rubber. Radditz activated his green scouter while Nappa activated his blue scouter.

“So this is Planet Earth?” Radditz grunted with a limey tone, Nappa responded in a Southern tone

“Kakarot should be around this planet somewhere. This planet is smaller than Planet Vegeta.” Radditz then asked Nappa of a query

“Wait, doesn’t this planet have Dragonballs?” Nappa raised and eyebrow

“What are you thinking?” Radditz grinned

“We can gather the 7 Dragonballs and wish for immortality, and finally Lord Frieza will treat us saiyans with the respect we deserve!” Nappa gave a malicious smirk

“Well then it’s sorted! I’ll look for the Dragonballs and you find your brother!” Nappa spoke out as Radditz replied

“Ok fine! But at least till we know what we are doing and where we are going, we stick together.” Nappa agreed and the two Saiyan warriors head off in a random direction to check out Planet Earth.


Tien and Yamcha were training nearby on Kame House island.

“Get ready for this Tien!” Yamcha shouted with a high sense of cockiness in his voice

“You think you can handle this?” Yamcha performed a very kinetic movement stance and appeared to be very confident in his Turtle School red gi. Tien stood still, calm, with his arm extended, wearing his green trousers and his third eye concentrated.

“You think you can take me on Yamcha?” Tien replied in a gristly voice, still motionless and calm. As Yamcha rushed towards Tien, the 3 eyed super human sidestepped, causing Yamcha to miss. As Yamcha fell to his knees having missed Tien, he got up and turned around.

“Oh yeah its on now!” Yamcha rushed at Tien 3 more times, then a fourth time… when Tien did not move but instead remained standing and blocked Yamcha’s full kick. As Yamcha stepped back a few feet to gather some energy he shouted

“Wolf Fang Fist” and rushed at Tien with a manic dashing attack of fists, Tien blocked each attack causing Yamcha to place his hand on his chest to assist breathing. Tien smirked and concentrated his own energy. Yamcha looked on in amazement as Tien appeared to be splicing himself into 4 separate copies. Each running to surround Yamcha on all 4 corners. With a “Iya!” they all went into Crane School Position and remained stationery. The original Tien smirked

“Well Yamcha, still feeling like you can win?” Tien interrogated with a sense of friendly rivalry, keeping his grin intact.


Elsewhere Radditz and Nappa had landed in West City,

“Well this city looks like a perfect training exercise! We should make them sure the Saiyans have arrived!” Nappa agreed

“Yeah where are our manners? We should say hello!” Nappa concentrated his ki to his hand and released an energy blast at a nearby building causing an explosion. As nearby people screamed out of fear, Radditz and Nappa’s attack on the city had started.

Piccolo was nearby, meditating near a cave, still with his burning desire to revenge his father’s destruction at the hands of San Goku. He opened his eyebrow and left his state of trance, noticing that two extraordinarily high power levels had entered the Earth’s surface. Piccolo stood up, walked outside the cave, flew into the air, and went to investigate… landing in West City. Upon entering the city, Piccolo witnessed Nappa and Radditz causing disorder upon the streets. They turned to notice the Namekian.

“Why look Nappa, a Namekian!” Radditz sneered, Nappa grunted

“On Earth? Strange.” Nappa read Piccolo’s power level through his blue scanner

“Well this insect won’t give us any real trouble! He won’t even dent us!” Nappa laughed out loud. Piccolo looked nervous

“They’re… so strong!” he stuttered after monitoring their power levels. Piccolo was well aware he wouldn’t stand a chance.

“You two are not my enemy, destroy this planet if you want, just stay away from Goku, he is my opponent!”

Nappa laughed once more “We have no interest in anything you have to say or do Namek! Our goal is to destroy all life on this planet and seize it under the control in the name of Lord Frieza!” Radditz had a question to ask the Namek

“Say Namek, do you know anything about the Dragonballs? Tell us or we’ll take our time with destroying you!” Radditz shouted while still keeping a malicious grin. Piccolo seemed inquisitive, like he knew of the existence of the Dragonballs subconsciously but still had no idea about them… like he had an experience with them when he was younger, or more likely when his father was younger due to him sharing his father’s memories. Piccolo was unsure, so he decided to check with the two warriors what the dragonballs were… along with another question.

“Who are you two? And what are these Dragonballs? I want a straight answer!” Nappa and Radditz folded their arms

“We are Saiyan warriors, from the Planet Vegeta! We are here to find the lost Saiyan Kakarot, and together we will take over this planet, and destroy every living creature on it…. including you, Namek!” Piccolo looked stern

“And these Dragonballs?” Nappa looked at the Namek straight on

“You mean you don’t know? Good, we’ll reach them before you do! Now stay out of our way” Nappa fired an energy blast that flew Piccolo several metres back, smack into a tower building. Injured, Piccolo released himself from part of the fractured building and fell to the ground hurt… and groaning. Piccolo is nothing against the power of Radditz and Nappa.


Meanwhile, Goku was sparring with Krillin.

“GOKU!” Chi Chi screamed in a high pitched voice. Goku, laughing nervously, scratched the back of his head as Chi Chi stormed out their house and to Goku outside.

“Why..er… hey Chi Chi!” Goku said cheery in an attempt to calm Chi Chi’s mood. It didn’t work, Chi Chi looked mad.

“Goku when are you going to get a job? All you do is train in martial arts, you should get a job. Gohan will earn a heap of money when he is a scholar, but to do that he needs to study, and we need to afford for him to attend High School… College…Grad School. So you better get a job mister!” Goku, with a wide grin, came up with something that seemed to calm Chi Chi’s mood down.

“Chi Chi, look… the next Tenkaichi Budokai, I’l will, I’ll win, and we will have more than enough money, honestly!” It worked, and Chi Chi’s mood calmed down,

“Ok Goku, but you better earn a HEAP of money!” Chi Chi stormed back in the house.


A lot of West City had been destroyed by Nappa and Radditz, who were on a rampage.

“Radditz!” Nappa asked “Have you managed to locate Kakarot yet?” Radditz answered his Saiyan colleague

“Why yes Nappa, I believe I have! I will take care of Kakarot now, you find those Dragonballs!” Nappa looked reluctant

“There are none in this portion of the city.” Nappa expressed his opinion followed by a command from Radditz, Radditz sneered

“Well destroy some more of it!” with a grin, Radditz left Nappa… and went to find his brother. Piccolo, barely conscious but still conscious enough, stood up in pain (having been surprised by the greatest power ever to enter Earth in one individual) and went somewhere secret to recover. Kakarot was in fact Goku, they were one in the same. Nappa and Radditz were not aware that Kakarot had been an adoptive human renamed Goku, and Goku had no idea he was of Saiyan heritage and named Kakarot. Soon it would all be blissfully clear. Yamcha and Tien continued their training on Kame House island, with Chaiotzu and Krillin watching… Chaiotzu naturally cheering on his fellow Crane School student Tien, leading to Krillin to support his fellow Turtle School student Yamcha. All four were unaware of Nappa and Radditz’s presence. Tien and his 3 clones floored Yamcha, causing Yamcha to accept defeat after 3 counts. It was now Krillin’s turn to take on Tien. The clones had now disappeared and Tien was whole again. Tien smirked

“So, you want some Tien time too?” Krillin got into stance.

“Right, let’s see if my training has paid off!” and so next an intense training session began with Tien and Krillin. Krillin, tougher than Yamcha, gave Tien a fair bit of trouble.

“Ugh you’ve been training Krillin!” Tien smiled “Pity it isn’t enough!” Tien launched at Krillin and kicked him into the air. While the Turtle School student was airborne uncontrolled, Tien rushed into a combination of 3 attack meteors before Krillin was knocked down to the ground on his feet.

“Wow Tien, you’re really tough! You must train everyday!” Tien landed on his ground and gave Krillin a thumbs up

“You saw the fuss with King Piccolo and his son, you can never be prepared!” Master Roshi was listening to Tien from inside Kame House. “You know” Master Roshi told his turtle “That Tien has really grown to be something else since we first met him!” Soon, a familiar face landed on the island. Goku had decided to visit his friends… well, to get away from nagging Chi Chi for a bit anyway.

“Hey Goku!” Krillin called out, everyone else all welcomed Goku.

“Hey guys, training I see. That’s great, I’l beat you anyway!” Goku said with good humor, addressing the remark generally towards Tien’s area, Tien took the remark with good humor too.

“Don’t count on it Goku, ask Yamcha and Krillin here… I gave these guys a pretty intensive battle just now.” Yamcha agree,d holding his chest

“Yeah no kidding bro!” Tien looked at Yamcha, before looking back at Goku.

“Hey Goku, Chi Chi still giving you a hard time?” Tien joked with Goku, Goku laughed

“You bet, she’s nagging me to get a job!” Tien laughed “Woman eh!” Goku dublicated Tien’s laughter

“So… heard from Launch recently Tien?” there was a great sense of friendly sarcasm and teasing in Goku’s tone,

Tien’s face went bright red with embarrassment and panic. “Launch? Where? WHERE?”

Goku chuckled “Fooled you! Haha!”


Radditz was now heading towards Goku’s house, however Goku was not there having left to avoid Chi Chi. Piccolo was following the trail of Radditz trying not to be detected, he wanted to see where the Saiyan was heading. Meanwhile Goku began to pick up the strong energy signal of Radditz heading to his house and jumped.
Krillin looked at Goku “Hey Goku, are you ok? You don’t look too well!” Goku, with a worried expression, looked at his friends.

“Guys, something is heading towards Chi Chi and Gohan, and I don’t like it, I’ve gotta go!” Without hestitation, Goku was off and heading towards his house. Tien, Krillin, Chaiotzu and Yamcha followed behind to assist their friend. All 5 arrived outside Goku’s house one by one, awaiting the evil Radditz. When the Saiyan appeared in their view, they all stood in astonishment.

“His… his power! It’s so… much!” Tien was shaking.

“No matter how much training we do, we can’t beat that!” Krillin remarked with his trademark nervous pitch bend. Radditz eyes locked on Goku.

“Kakarot, my brother… we meet at last!” The others all looked at Goku, Goku was confused.

“Brother? What, my names Goku and I’m from Earth!”

Radditz laughed “You… from Earth? BAHAHA! Right, and the Namek, guessing he is from Earth too? BAHA! From Earth… don’t make me laugh!!” Goku was clenching his fists. “You were sent to Earth when you were a baby to take over this planet, why haven’t you?!”

Goku, clenching his fists, responded “Because this is my home!”

Radditz laughed “You’re a complete disgrace Kakarot, where is your Saiyan Pride?!”

Goku turned to his comrades “If we all work together, we can take this guy out guys!” They all agreed, and rose into the air, surrounding Radditz. They all rushed at Radditz, who blocked each attack effortlessly. Krillin launched a Desctructo Disk attack at Radditz which seemed to make a tiny impact to Radditz chest, if Radditz was not wearing his Saiyan armor it would have made a bigger impact. Krillin’s attack was enough to crack Radditz’s armor slightly. Radditz got cocky

“What was that, weakling?!” Radditz grabbed Krillin by the arm and sling him several feet away, causing Krillin to crash into the water.

“Krillin!” Goku screamed, Yamcha gave Goku a thumbs up “Don’t worry, i’l get him!”

Tien looked at Radditz “So, its games you want to play? Solar Flare!” Radditz became blinded.

“Goku, do it!” Tien screamed and Goku powered up “Kame…kame…ha!!” Radditz became consumed by Goku’s attack, causing him to fall down, and bang his head on a rock, falling unconscious. Goku stood confused

“Huh? That was it?” Tien, Goku and Chaiotzu hovered down to the ground to Radditz’s level

“Tien, is he dead?” Chaiotzu asked, “No Chaiotzu! Just unconscious… I think.”


Meanwhile Nappa was on his search for the Dragonballs in a local rocky area.
“They’ve gotta be somewhere! My scouter should pick them up surely, they are bound to give off some form of high energy radiance.” Nappa looked up to see Piccolo flying in a certain direction. “What, the Namek, he is still alive? Curse him, well I better finish that piece of trash off!!” Nappa rose to the sky and followed Piccolo, heading towards Goku’s house being the last place he read Radditz’s energy signal.

“Huh?” Piccolo thought when he was zooming to the destination. “The power level has decreased, don’t tell me Goku and his friends finished him off? That’s not fair, I didn’t even lay a dent, damn humans!”


Goku and Tien had taken the unconscious Radditz into Goku's House to rest, while Chaiotzu helped Krillin and Yamcha dry off. Goku and Tien were deciding what to do with Radditz.

“Goku, what should we do when he wakes up?”

Goku answered “I’m not sure, find out his name I guess, and where he lives, and why he attacked us earlier.” Tien had further questions

“Also, why he was so strong, what are Saiyans? And why did he call you his brother Kakarot?” Piccolo was getting dangerously close to Kame House island when Radditz woke up.

“Huh, where am I, Kakarot? What happened?” Tien looked at Goku and sighed

“Looks like he still thinks you are called Kakarot.”

Radditz leaned up so he was sitting up “No, Kakarot, you’ve gotta believe me, before… he comes!”

Goku became interested “Who?”

Radditz answered “Nappa, A Saiyan Elite! You are Kakarot, a low class saiyan like me Radditz… you are my brother. You were sent here to conquer Planet Earth. And because you haven’t, me and Nappa were sent to conquer it instead and remind you of your mission…” Radditz placed his hands on his head and screamed “Aaaaaggh! What’s happening to me?! Emotions?! This isn’t the Saiyan way! What happened to my cruel personality… what have you done? Gaaah!”

Tien saw that Radditz wasn’t feeling well. “You need to rest Radditz, that bang on your head must have made you lose your memory, we’ll take care of this Nappa guy.”

Radditz panicked. “NO! You can’t, it took all of you to take me on… Nappa is much stronger than I am, almost 4 times as strong… that’s why he is a Saiyan Elite and I am Saiyan Trash.”

Goku put his hand on his brothers armored shoulder pads “But, with you on our side, us 6 should manage this Nappa guy easily right?!” Goku appeared very cheerful and optimistic, Radditz was not “I hope so… Kakarot! He is so strong! So so strong!”

At that very moment, Piccolo landed on the island. Krillin looked out the window to see Piccolo standing their with a mean face. “Ah! Goku, guys! It’s…. it’s… Piccolo!!!”

Much easier on the eyes :) from what I managed to read of the great wall o' text, it looks pretty good. I'll try and give some more helpful comments when you fix the format. Oh also, start a new line when a new person starts speaking. For example:

"Oh my goodness look at my shiny head!" Shouted Krillin. "Yes, it is quite shiny." Replied Yamcha.

Have it like this:

"Oh my goodness look at my shiny head!" Shouted Krillin.
"Yes, it is quite shiny." Replied Yamcha

The Radditz Arc
Chapter 2

Piccolo had landed outside Goku’s house, grinning. Goku rushed out the house to face Piccolo.

“Found you!” Piccolo was grinning “We meet again Goku!”
Radditz got up, and rushed out to join his brother,
Tien called out to Radditz as the Saiyan stood up and vacated outside too soon

“Radditz! Wait” Tien called out.

“You!!” Radditz struggled to say, as he held his head as if he had a headache. “I’ve seen you somewhere before…”

Piccolo laughed “What is this? A Joke? Or has the Saiyan lost his memory?” the Namekian teased with a sarcastic tone.

Goku shouted at Piccolo “Leave my brother out of this! This is between you and me!”

Piccolo seemed inquisitive “So…you are this Kakarot? Interesting, the other Saiyan will be here soon, and wants you to help him destroy the Earth. I’m presuming you won’t comply with his orders… you’ve been with humans too long as well as being weak. I was all alone on this planet as far as I can remember, surrounded by pathetic humans… and I’ve never allowed it to make me weak. But you… you’re different! Die Goku, or whatever your name is!”

Goku and Piccolo engaged in battle, an intense battle. However this was nothing like the friendly sparring match that Tien, Krillin and Yamcha had conducted earlier… in fact it was even more vicious than when the Z fighters fought Radditz, the hate and passion was immense.

Radditz looked into the sky, and activated his green scouter, and panicked.

“AAAAH?” Radditz screamed.

Tien turned to Radditz “What is it?”

Radditz looked at Tien “It’s Nappa, he’s here!”

Nappa arrived at the scene. “Well well Radditz… what happened? Are you betraying the word of Lord Frieza? Or betraying your Saiyan heritage?”

Radditz couldn’t move. He was never afraid of Nappa as an ally, even though he knew perfectly well that Nappa was more than enough power for him to handle… but now Nappa was his enemy.

Krillin, Tien and Yamcha jumped in front of Radditz.

“Don’t worry, we’ll take this guy on! Ooh yeah!” Yamcha commanded confidently. “You think you can handle this?” Yamcha rushed at Nappa, who effortlessly knocked him back. Tien and Krillin looked back in surprise as Yamcha flew out of control past and behind them. Yamcha lay unconscious.

“Wow! He took out Yamcha in one hit!” Krillin’s high pitched nervous voice bend was back.

”It’s like nothing we’ve ever faced!” Tien seconded Krillin’s thoughts. Tien thought to himself ‘I have to at least try’. Tien turned to Krillin “Krillin, I’m going to try something but I need your help!”
Krillin listened to his comrade. “I’m listening!”

Tien nodded “Great, If I use my Solar Flare and temporarily blind him… you can rush and go all out, during this I’ll charge up a Tri Beam. During this you can charge up a Destructo Disk.”

Krillin actually smiled “Great! But how can you be sure it’ll work?”

Tien looked down “I don’t know Krillin, but we’ve gotta try… we’ve just gotta!”


Piccolo and Goku were still battling it out, however it just seemed to be a repeat of their Tenkaichi Budokai match… they were highly even. Sometimes Piccolo seemed to have the upper hand, but Goku gained it later, then it went back to Piccolo

Tien began his attack on Nappa, Nappa whacked Tien back the same way he did Yamcha… luckily Tien landed on the ground firmly and performed his solar flare. Nappa became temporarily blinded. Krillin did not waste any time, and rushed at Nappa with what would be a lethal combo… thankfully it did surprise Nappa and knock him back a few metres. Tien did not waste any time either, and charged up a Tri Beam, while Krillin charged up his Destructo Disk.

Nappa growled, he was mad now. “Right! If that’s the way you punks wanna play…”

Before Nappa could finish his rant, Tien shouted “Tri-Beam!!!!” Tien, forming a triangle with his hands, fired a triangle beam at Nappa.

Nappa shouted, with most of his armor dented “Aaaa that hurt, punk!!”

It was now Krillin’s turn to deliver an attack. “Destructo Disk!!” Krillin, powering up a disc of the palm of his hand and extended arm in the air, threw a Destructo Disk at Nappa, which cracked a huge whole in his armor, knocking Nappa to the floor.

Tien and Krillin seemed cheery for an instant moment “Yeah teamwork!”

Nappa was now furious, “You miserable humans!” Nappa stood up and grinned “You’re gona have to do better than that!”

Tien and Krillin were now in a state of shock and panic again,

“Whaa…” Krillin’s jaw dropped “We used our max power!!”

Nappa now was laughing manically, Radditz staggered next to Krillin and Tien.

“I told you…” Radditz stuttered, “…you can’t beat him, he’s a Saiyan Elite!!”


Goku and Piccolo continued their battle, with neither of them seizing a victory, and both increasing their fatigue.

“I am sworn to destroy you Sangoku! And destroy you I shall!!!” Piccolo breathed heavily before he roared at Goku. “Demon Wave!!” Piccolo fired an energy blast from his hand at Goku, knocking the Saiyan to the floor.

Radditz screamed at his brother “Kakarot! Use your Saiyan potential!” Radditz rushed to his brothers aid and paralyzed the Namekian briefly, “Curse you Namek!”

Piccolo, kneeing and coughing, looked up at the two Saiyans. “So two of you? Very well! Destructive Wave!!” Piccolo fired a more deadly blast, but Radditz jumped in the way of the blast and reflected it. Breathing rapidly, Radditz began his attack “Double Sunday!!” Radditz blasted the Namekian to the floor and placed his hand over the fallen alien. “This ends for you!” Manipulating ki, Radditz formed an energy ball in his hand, directing it at the floored Piccolo.

Goku seemed reluctant “Radditz!! No!! That isn’t the way!!”

Radditz was confused “But… Kakarot! It’s kill or… be killed!!”

Kakarot shook his head “Radditz if you destroy Piccolo, you are no better than he is! Stop! Let him go!”

Radditz powered down the energy blast and removed his hand from Piccolo’s direction, allowing the Namekian the choice to escape. “You’re right Kakarot, I’m sorry.”


Tien and Krillin were still struggling with Nappa, trying to fight at long distance, seeing as he took out Yamcha in a single hit and that there most powerful attacks only scratched the Saiyan Elite. Chaiotzu had a tactic in his head that may assist, but only if Nappa was weakened. If Chaiotzu sacrificed himself by blowing himself up, he could take out Nappa too. Nappa would have to be weakened by Krillin and Tien before this could happen though, otherwise it would be in vain. Luckily Piccolo was planning to evacuate the battle against Goku and Radditz,

“Mark my words Saiyans! I will be back for both of you!” Piccolo instructed before leaving the scene, Radditz and Goku were now free to face Nappa.

Goku put his hand on his brother shoulder “Together! Anything is possible!”

Krillin was firing energy volleys at Nappa “Yeah Goku, but… you better hurry up and help us here!” Krillin and his all famous nervous tone expressed.

“Kame…kame…..ha!!” Goku fired a Kamekameha at the airborne Nappa, Nappa blocked the attack and roared.

“Kakarot?! How dare you challenge a Saiyan Elite! Die traitor! Bomber DX!!” Nappa fired his own attack at Goku, which wounded him.

Tien was clenching his fists and starting to feel angry “Agh! This guy is too strong! Yamcha is unconscious, Goku is having a hard time, Piccolo even fled the scene!!
We need a miracle!”

Nappa was laughing, louder, and louder… the loudest he had ever laughed, the Saiyan Elite seemed to be unstoppable.

Radditz stepped back and gathered his ki, getting ready to deliver a lethal attack. “Double Sunday!!” firing the energy waves at Nappa proceeded to knock the Saiyan Elite back… down… and causing him to crash land on the floor.

Tien, Krillin, Goku, Chaiotzu and Radditz all surrounded the fallen Nappa, and all got into stance. Nappa seemed very angry, and still hasn’t released his Saibamen yet.

Nappa got up “Curse you miserable fools! I haven’t even fully started yet!” Nappa pulled out a Saibamen Jar. Opening the jar he grabbed 5 Saibamen roots and chucked them on the ground. The 5 Saibamen roots grew rapidly into 5 Saibamen creatures.

“What the hell are those???!” Krillin screamed

Tien, Krillin, Goku, Chaiotzu and Radditz were all staring at the Saibamen, Radditz powered up. “These guys are about equal to my power level.”

Krillin turned to Radditz “How are you sure?”

Radditz’s eyes locked on to Krillin “How am I sure? I’m a Saiyan from Planet Vegeta!” Radditz was shaking “The Saiyan Elite use these creatures as a training exercise. You guys are just humans, they’ll have you for lunch!”

Tien was puzzled “And you… what will they do to you?”

Radditz appeared to look sad “Do you realise i’ve betrayed my people without even realising it? I’m going down with you guys too!”

As the Saibamen growled sinisterly, something struck Radditz mentally.

“How long is it till the moon comes out?” Radditz asked his newly acquainted human friends.

His brother answered him “A few minutes, why?”

Radditz explained “Any Saiyan with a tail, such as myself and Nappa, when subjected to the light rays of a moon transforms into a giant Oozaru ape form, increasing our power by 10 times.”

Goku seemed disturbed “Gohan…”

Radditz became interested in the name Goku had mentioned “Gohan?”

Goku nodded “My son, he has a tail!”

“Hmm, I’m not sure about human-Saiyan hybrids. This Gohan will probably be the first ever human-Saiyan hybrid” Radditz tried to explain “… I wonder if he is capable of the Oozaru transformation, we’ll have to find out. Me and your son might just be enough to take on Nappa as Oozarus, even if Nappa is an Oozaru too… it might be enough!”

Krillin got into stance “Alright, so we just hold this bozo off till the moon comes out! Easy!”

Tien looked at the fallen Yamcha “Try telling Yamcha that!”

Nappa was growing tired of this battle, and commanded the Saibamen to attack the Z fighters. The Saibamen were very strong and caught all 5 fighters off guard with a wound to their chests, all 5 knelt down in pain. The 5 Saibamen grouped together and began powering up.

Nappa was laughing insanely “Haha! This is too easy! Saibamen! Acid!”

All 5 Saibamen fired beams of acid out of their mouths towards the Z fighters causing them all to scream. Nappa was sadistic and enjoyed their suffering.


The tiny Gohan woke up from inside the house after hearing a noise, he got up and went to look outside to see what all the fuss was about… Gohan was scared, seeing his father being attacked, Gohan began to cry.

”DAAAAAD!!”

Nappa turned to look at Gohan next to the house entrance, “Why what have we here?” he asked rhetorically, Nappa activated his scouter “Quite a high power level for a little squirt, although it’s not enough!” Nappa rushed down and landed right next to Gohan.

”GOHAN!! NOO!” Goku screamed at Nappa, Nappa grabbed Gohan and picked him up, Gohan started to cry.

Radditz looked up at the sky “Goku, the moon! It’s not here yet! I have to call for desperate measures!”

Goku was inquisitive “What do you mean?”

Radditz grinned “I need to create an artificial moon.”

Tien scratched his head “An…. artificial moon?”

Radditz nodded. Although it was not like Radditz had a chance to create an artificial moon what with the 5 Z fighters in an onslaught with the 5 powerful Saibamen.

Krillin groaned “How can something so small have so much power?!”

The Radditz Arc
Chapter 3

The longer the Z fighters fought the Saibamen, the nearer the natural moon was to appearing. Radditz had finally had enough.

“It’s not here fast enough… Kakarot! Hold off my Saibaman opponent! I need to create an artificial moon before it’s too late.”

Goku agreed, and Radditz produced a ball of energy which he threw in the air, transforming it into an artificial moon.

Nappa was laughing while hovering in the air, gripping the child Gohan hard. Gohan’s tail rose up, and Gohan began to transform… not only that, butt Nappa and Radditz’s tails responded to the artificial moon too. Soon enough, Great Ape Radditz, Great Ape Nappa and Great Ape Gohan were born…. all three growling out of control.

Krillin was shaking “Er guys…. WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE?”

Goku looked up at the 3 great apes “Great Ape monsters!”

Great Ape Radditz stepped in the direction of the 5 Saibamen, squashing and destroying 2. The other 3 soon to be finished off by an energy beam from Radditz’s huge ape jaw.

Tien, Goku, Krillin and Chaiotzu looked up and watched as the three Great Apes all turned their sights onto each other. Nappa knocked Gohan several feet back, and rushed after him in a mad frenzy, Radditz made a dash for it as well and tackled Nappa to the floor. The three apes were now away from Goku’s house for which Goku was very grateful.

Goku turned to his friends “Gohan, he’s going to be injured!”

Tien tried to settle Goku down “That’s not strictly Gohan, it’s a transformation… after he de-transforms he’l probably forget it ever happened, with a single rest Gohan will be back to normal. But at the moment we need to find Piccolo, and take the Demon… or Namek out, whatever he is!”

Goku agreed with his triplicated eyed friend, and together all four went off to find Piccolo.

Meanwhile the three apes were attacking each other, Radditz and Gohan seemed to just growl manically and have no control over their giant ape forms, however Nappa… being a Saiyan Elite, seemed to be in complete control of the form.

“Hah hah! Low Class Saiyans cannot control the Great Ape form, Saiyan Elites have total control! You’ll still lose!” Nappa, who was still able to speak in the form even with a monstrous tone, mocked the other two saiyans. Gohan had all his clothes destroyed upon transformation whereas Nappa and Radditz kept their Saiyan armor. Also Nappa seemed to display a larger head while Radditz kept his long hair, although browner and scruffier. Nappa grabbed Radditz by the air and kneeled him in the back, causing Radditz to howl and fall to the ground.


Elsewhere at the time, on Lord Frieza’s spaceship miles away from Earth. The Saiyan Prince, Vegeta was walking along a corridor proudly, in his colored Saiyan armor and blue special rubber, until he passed Cui.

“I hear 2 Saiyans went to Planet Earth!” Cui muttered,

Vegeta grinned and looked back “Yeah, what of it?”

Cui smiled back “It makes sense, Earth is full of trash so they send the trash to take care of the trash… I’m surprised you didn’t go with them Vegeta, or are you higher than that… monkey?” Cui was very patronizing.

Vegeta laughed “Watch out Cui or I might go… APE on you! Haha!

Cui scowled “You Saiyans are nothing!”

Vegeta was bliss in ignorance “If Saiyans are nothing then why does Lord Frieza hand pick us to do his special missions while you are simply temps!” Vegeta laughed “No stay out of my way Cui, or you’ll regret it!”

Vegeta walked till he was out of site of Cui and received a transmission that Nappa had a chance to send before.

“Radditz is a traitor… and so is Kakarot? What is it with this planet, will they take Nappa too? Is it worth me getting my hands dirty?”


Meanwhile Piccolo was mediating in some plains on Earth when the Z fighters landed at his location.

“Piccolo!” Goku screamed

Piccolo grinned while still keeping his eyes closed “So, you came Goku… excellent, I’l finish you off here, and then I’ll finish off your brother, then I’ll finish off the other Saiyan!”

Krillin stuttered “I don’t think…. You can, they’ve become…. GIANT APE monsters!! Krillin gulped.

Piccolo became intrigued “Giant… apes?”

Goku got his friends into a huddle “Guys I think we are desperate so… we may need Piccolo’s help!”

Tien cringed “Piccolo’s help, are you crazy Goku?”

Goku nodded “As long as my son is in danger, yes!”

Piccolo, reading their minds, spoke out “Don’t bother with secret huddles, I know you need my help!”

Tien turned to the Namekian “Just for this battle, then you are our enemy again!”

“Very well!” Piccolo opened his eyes and got up “Lets go!”

The 5 of them rushed to the Rocky Area where the three apes were inflicting excess amounts of damage upon each other.

“Well, this is impressive!” Piccolo stated “And one of those is your son Goku?”

Krillin had an idea “Yajirobe, he can cut off Nappa’s tail and revert him to normal, thus Gohan and Radditz can defeat him.”

Tien agreed “Krillin’s right, because Nappa is a great ape too… his power is multiplied as well too, we need to revert him back to his normal form.”

Goku gulped “Yajirobe… I wonder if he is up to that.”

Krillin sparked up and hovered “I’l find Yajirobe, I don’t think I’ll aid much in this fight, I’l be back before you know it.”

As Krillin rushed off to find Yajirobe at Korin Tower, the others watched the onslaught of the three great apes. Nappa, clearly superior, was winning.

Soon enough, Krillin was at Korin Tower and landed inside, where Korin was standing.

“Krillin! It’s been a long time! How are you and Goku?”

Krillin was panicking as usual “Under attack!!”

Korin nodded, as if he expected this as Krillin’s usual behaviour “Uhuh, uhuh, and… you want some Senzu beans so you guys can recover?”

Krillin refused “No Korin, we need Yajirobe!!”

Korin almost fell off his chair, if he was sitting on a chair “You want.. Yajirobe, it must be serious then…”

Yajirobe walked out eating cake “Someone call?”

Krillin looked at Yajirobe stuffing his face with cake and was almost horrified at the concept of asking this joke a favour.

“Yajirobe…” Krillin breathed in “We need you to cut the tail off a giant ape!”

Yajirobe froze for a second “Dude… are you high?”

Krillin was shaking “I’m quite serious! Come on we need to hurry!”


Elsewhere back at the Rocky Wastelands, Piccolo, Goku, Tien and Chaiotzu were observing the great ape battle with Nappa thrasing Gohan and Radditz. Just as Goku couldn’t take much more seeing his brother and son brutally toyed with by Nappa, Krillin arrived with Yajirobe.

“Right Yajirobe!” Krillin shouted “The one wearing the yellow armor, you need to cut his tail off, not the other two, leave them alone!”

Goku was really worried “What if Nappa is destroyed and it just leaves Radditz and Gohan as great apes… they’ll destroy each other!”

Piccolo was thinking “What is the key to this transformation?” the Namekian asked.

“Moonlight or an artificial moon!” Tien answered.

Piccolo smiled “Then he just have to wait until daylight shows, but hopefully this Nappa saiyan will be gone by then.”

Yajirobe held his sword “You know, I’m having second thoughts!”

Krillin shook Yajirobe “You’re not allowed to have second thoughts!!!!”

Krillin then let go of Yajirobe, Yajirobe brushed his clothes “Alright, alright, jeez!”

Yajirobe rushed into the battle field, hiding behind boulders and rocks, trying to get near to Nappa.

“It’s up to you now!” Yajirobe told himself as he sliced off Nappas tail… causing the great ape Nappa to scream as he reverted down to his regular form… without a tail. It was now impossible for Nappa to achieve great ape form anymore.

“Ughhhhh” Nappa groaned, as he looked up at the two other great apes. “Oh darn ittt!” Radditz then stood on Nappa. Being a Saiyan Elite, Nappa was able to hold Radditz’s gigantic foot… but even Nappa wasn’t powerful enough and was crushed.

Piccolo smiled “He’s down!”

Tien was starring at Radditz and Gohan, still giant apes “So… what do you suggest we do about those two?”

Piccolo folded his arms and grunted “We wait until daylight! Ok?”

I just read the first chapter, it was great. Having Raditz become a good guy that sounds promising, ill read the rest of the chapters wen I have more time, but so far it looks good.

The Radditz Arc

Chapter 4

Prince Vegeta of the Saiyans was already on his way to Planet Earth in his own Saiyan spaceship, with a secret tactic to reclaim Radditz… and also to claim Kakarot, to his Saiyan squad. But what had become of Nappa? Had he been killed by Radditz’s supreme Oozaru force? Or had he survived?

It was drawing near to daylight on Planet Earth, which meant the injured Radditz and Gohan were starting to revert back to their normal forms. The uncle and nephew had been going at it for a while after the apparent demise of Nappa, but finally they were now normal. Gohan, having had all his clothes ripped, was stark but Radditz had his Saiyan armor. Krillin arrived with one of his Turtle red gis and presented it to the unconscious Gohan. After Goku put it on, Gohan began to wake up.

“Dad… where am I?” Gohan asked his father.

Goku smiled “It’s ok Gohan, you’re safe now!”

Radditz groaned, and got up. “Did we…. Beat Nappa?”

Goku nodded “Seems like it!”

Piccolo, Tien, Yajirobe and Chaiotzu now arrived.

Radditz was alarmed at the sight of Piccolo “The Namekian!!”

Everyone looked at Piccolo as he displayed a stern look at Radditz. Piccolo stepped forward and gave a smirk “Impressive, but now you will fight me!”

All the other fighters backed Radditz up. Goku stepped forward to face Piccolo “Fine! If it has to be that way, Krillin take Gohan home and safe… I’ll handle things from here.”

Radditz refused to leave “Kakarot, I’m staying with you!”

Goku looked grateful “Thank you Radditz.”

The others left, leaving Goku and Radditz to face Piccolo.

The Saiyan Prince Vegeta’s spacepod flew nearer and nearer to Earth…


Piccolo attempted to attack Goku but Radditz, superior in power to both Goku and Piccolo by far, blocked Piccolo’s attack and smacked the Namekian several feet away.

“I haven’t even started on you yet Namek!” Radditz shouted.

Piccolo crawled along on the floor “Ugh you shouldn’t be allowed that kind of power!” The Namek squirmed, pointing at the long haired Saiyan.


Elsewhere, the injured Nappa remained on the floor of the Wasteland out cold. With tremendous strain he managed to open his eyelid to barely view the sky above.

“Impossible! I am an Elite!” Nappa shouted, as he sat up he reached for his tail, noticing it was gone “Whaaaa??!!” Nappa, in shock, stood up “What the…. NOO, my tail, curse them, my true Saiyan ability is lost!” Nappa began to clench his fist and concentrate his muscles, “That traitor Radditz will die!!”

Vegeta sent Nappa an audio message on his scouter “Nappa, how is progress?” Nappa answered his Prince “Well Prince Vegeta, it seems Radditz is still a traitor and has sided with the humans and Kakarot. I don’t know what makes Saiyans lose their Saiyan pride and become traitors to our planet, but whatever it is… it won’t get me!”

Vegeta spoke in a highly gristly evil voice and a thick English English pronunciation similar to Radditz “I’m glad to hear that Nappa! Now listen up, I should arrive on Planet Earth in 2 months, be prepared for my arrival.”

Nappa was worried “What will I do until you appear Vegeta?”

Vegeta laughed “Act like a true Space Pirate! Make the lifes of everyone here miserable!”

Nappa gulped “…except, they cut my tail off Prince Vegeta!”

Vegeta was angry “WHATT?!” Vegeta seemed deeply distressed by Nappa’s news, a Saiyan loosing his tail is considered one of the most offensive things that can occur to all Saiyans. In short, Nappa was now almost considered a disgrace to saiyans… if he wasn’t the General of the great Saiyan army.

Nappa was now set on finding Kakarot and Radditz, and destroying them. Without his tail, Nappa had lost a lot of Saiyan pride, and he would make Kakarot and Radditz pay because of this.


2 month had past. Radditz had settled down surprisingly well with Goku’s family and friends. He has grown close to Goku’s son uncle and has largely adopted his role as Gohan’s uncle. The two often train in Martial Arts and Radditz has slowly become Gohan’s mentor and sensai, teaching Gohan everything he knows. Radditz has turned into a totally different being, and has even started wearing the traditional Turtle orange gi that Yamcha, Krillin and his brother Goku wear. Him and Goku often spar occasionally to become stronger, seeing as though they are both Saiyans… the longer and harder they trained the stronger fighters they became. Radditz and Goku, being the strongest of the Z fighters, were now around the same Power Level, which was around 3,400. They often sparred with the other Z fighters to a level that would push them to new limits but would not destroy them: Tien’s level had risen to 2,650, Krillins had become 2,500, and Yamcha’s had become 2,400. They had no idea of Prince Vegeta’s arrival, and thought that their apparent disposal of Nappa 2 months ago was the final time they would encounter the Saiyan Elite.

Sadly they were wrong…

Somewhere around North City, Vegeta’s Saiyan pod landed on Planet Earth.

Now the Earthlings would meet certain death at the hands of the Saiyan Prince himself.

With a power level of 18,000, will the Z fighters be able to combat this new menace with such low Power Levels?

Will their training with Radditz and previous bout with Nappa make the Z fighters adept in the tricks of the Saiyan race?

Vegeta emerged from his pod with his spiked hair. He was wearing blue special rubber, an orange and green coloured Saiyan armor, and a red scouter. He utilized his red scouter to search for high power levels, he picked up something to the west south.

“Hmm, 3,000… I wonder if that’s Nappa?” Vegeta asked himself as he flew off to discover who processed this power level. As he zoomed through the air, the power grew stronger and stronger the nearer he got to the power source… surprisingly.

Radditz and Gohan were training on some Islands a couple of miles from West City when Radditz sensed the familiar energy

“Noo… Prince Vegeta? It can’t be…here?” Radditz seemed almost frightened

“Uncle Radditz, what’s wrong?” the tiny Gohan asked.

Radditz turned to his nephew “Uuu, nothing Gohan… it’s nothing really!” Radditz thought to himself ‘NO it can’t be Prince Vegeta, otherwise we are all doomed! His power level is even higher than Nappa’s.”

Vegeta homed in one the power level he presumed was Nappa’s, it was. Nappa was in his Saiyan pod inside a hidden cave in suspended animation. Sensing Vegeta, Nappa’s Saiyan pod took him out of his hibernation. As Nappa groaned he emerged from the pod, and left the cave, waiting for Vegeta to appear. Vegeta proceeded to land in front of Nappa.

“It’s been a long time Nappa!” Vegeta told his fellow Saiyan. Nappa grunted in agreement. “Yes… sir, I have been awaiting your arrival.”

“How could you lose against these humans Nappa? Don’t tell me you wish to be a disgrace to the Saiyan race?”
