CoD ~ R1 M2 [Tuna2 (Byakuya) vs Hawkesy (Iron Man)]

Location: Seiretei. The Court of Pure Souls, the inner circle of the afterlife citadel known as Soul Society. Everything here is made of spiritual pressure. Usually, you could see numerous shinigami rolling about their own business, but none today. Today, Seiretei was empty, only the early morning breeze whistling over the great Soukyokou Hill, the great execution poles towering high into the Heavens. Everyone seemed to have withdrawn into seclusion, perhaps so as not to get in the way of the fighting, perhaps to avoid the imminent destruction. Perhaps out of respect for the two participants, Kuchiki Byakuya, Captain of the 6th Division, and Iron-Man, a hero of the real world...

Time of Day: Morning.

OOC: I trust Tuna2 is familiar with Seiretei. Hawkesy, there's not that much to say. It's a city circled by a large wall, which you cannot cross due to an invisible barrier. There's a large hill with a massive execution stand known as the Soukyokou in the middle. The structures are white and most of them tall, especially in the middle of the city. Ask if you need any additional information. Go ahead and give it your best shot. Good luck to both of you.

The winds, the feeling of spiritual pressure and familiarity, it was almost as if...yes, the captain could tell he was back. It had only been a short time since he had left home and now here he was, back in Seiretei. He stood rigid, like a statue, as his eyes glanced around the battlefield that had been set up for him and his opponent. Memories flooded his mind as he glanced around the chosen location. "Soukyokou Hill, location of what was once the execution platform of Seiretei," The captain said rather vacantly, hiding the slight look of shock in his eyes with his ever impassive voice. The slight shock, however, might have been expected. After all, his last memories here had been life changing to say the least.

Byakuya glanced towards the opposite side of the execution grounds, his eyes now fixed on what had once been the holding place of the Soukyokou. He noticed, from the position he was in, that he now stood in the same place he had when he had faced off against the Bankai wielding ryouka, Ichigo. The captain then turned his attention towards the area where Ichigo had stood during their last encounter, expecting to see his opponent appear somewhere nearby.

Iron Man look out over the top of the hill, he was amazed to find this place, it looked like feudal Japan he was surprised that a place like this existed. he turned from looking over the hill to looking straight at his opponent, he guessed that this Byakuya was a resident of this place
"how about we start this then?"
Iron Man engaged his thrusters and began to slowly hover close to Byakuya he looked him straight in the eyes and punched him directly in the stomach
Tony began to think about the 'Soul Pressure' he was briefed about and was glad that he couldnt sense this kind of power because he was sure this fight wasnt going to be over too quickly.

Byakuya was bent over his opponent's arm, the same arm that had previously connected with the captain's stomach, or so had opponent had thought. Two hands held back the single fist that had been aimed at his abdomen, although even so, the shinigami's arms were now shaking in an effort to hold back the punches force. To say the very least, the captain was surprised.

Pushing off the man's fist, Byakuya slid a few meters back from his opponent, his eyes immediately going to his now bruised hands. One punch from this person, that was all it had taken to force a captain of soul society to use his bare handed strength at maximum. "I see. It seems that you are a bit stronger than the average human. However, do not let this go to your head. You are still far from being on my level." With that the captain vanished from sight, his speed far greater than anything the normal human eye could follow. Within less than a second, the captain had appeared behind his opponent, his blade now aimed for the midsection of the human's back.

Yes, Byakuya's speed was faster than a human eye, but Tony's suit was not your average eye.
the moment he had set eyes on Byakuya he had his target locked on and just as Byakuya was about to impale Tony's armour he turned around and connected his fist with Byakuya's face, knocking the captain a few meters back, in shock Byakuya was disorientated
Tony fired his flares blinding him for a moment giving Tony the perfect opportunity to fire his Uni-beam.

Byakuya was shocked by the human's speed. He had never seen such a thing, a mere human following the movements of Shunpo. "Impossible," the captain whispered in astonishment as he stumbled back a few steps from the human's punch. Looking up however only caused a greater deal of frustration for the shinigami captain. The robotic man had suddenly fired a pair of flares in the direction of the captain's eyes, blinding the shinigami momentarily.

Sword still drawn, Byakuya focused on calming his nerves. If he could only concentrate on the man's spiritual energy, his sight wouldn't be of necessity. The suit is the source of his strength, take that out and he is merely another human. Such were the thoughts that passed through the captain's mind as he began to prepare a counterattack. Within moments though, he knew, even with a lack of sight, that the man of iron was preparing an attack of his own. Unfortunately, seeing as how the captain couldn't sense any reiatsu from the suit, he could only guess at how powerful the technique was going to be.

Extending a single finger, Byakuya prepared to counter the attack with one of his own. "Hadou 4: Byakurai." At these words, a small amount of bluish-white energy formed at the tip of his finger. The attack would fire a ray of energy that he hoped would deflect his opponent's technique, although such matters were also dependent on whether his opponent's attack was stronger than his or not.

Tony's suit noticed the enhanced energy coming from the captain, he was blinded so Tony reckoned he had a good chance of dodging the shot, as the suit noticed the surge in energy from Byakuya it charged more power into the Uni-beam "hopefully" Tony thought that it could at least damage the captain, but he kept thinking that maybe this wasn't the captains full power, this worried Tony but he had not run out of ideas yet.

Byakuya could feel a slight fluctuation in spirit power as he fired off the hadou. Even with his momentary blindness, the captain could tell his target had not only managed to dodge the blast, but that he had yet to fire off his own attack as well. Byakuya, however, was not one to be caught off guard.

Quickly switching his stance to a defensive position, the captain decided on taking whatever the man of iron had to offer. In all honesty, he had yet to use his full power. However, pride wouldn't let the arrogant captain use it just yet. If he decided on using it, it might mean accepting a mere human as a near equal. That was something a noble and captain of soul society like himself would never allow.

As he took the defensive, the captain's eyesight slowly began to return. He could now make out small blurs with his vision, although he had yet to form any solid shapes out of the multitude of objects in front of him. Still, he could make out the blur of red and gold, something that made the human easy to distinguish among others. This in combination with his energy sensing abilities might once again allow the captain to fight the human efficiently. As it was now, he was at a disadvantage. Either he would need to regain his eyesight soon or he'd be forced into using his zanpakuto's abilities.
