Chronicles of Darkness Tournament [Sign-Ups]

Been a while since MFG has had a Tournament. Here goes.

Rules:

1) This Tournament will begin once we have 8 or 16, depending on activity and interest, participants. They will be randomly assigned into two large blocks and in the regular Tournament knock-out style, they will compete in RP battles until a winner is decided.

2) Each member may pick one character from any anime, manga, book, movie, whatever, as long as it's a pre-existing one. Original characters are not allowed.

3) The character picked must be a specific incarnation of said character, in regards to skills and abilities. He can only use what he has displayed or can logically possess during the time in the series that he is specified to be selected from. The characters must also be RPd realistically - a move that has been shown to have a large chance to fail cannot be used repeatedly with 100% success. Needless to say, the characters' powers will be generally balanced towards each other in each fight.

4) No character switching once the tournament has officially begun. You may, however, alter your entry as you see fit before it starts.

5) The outcome of fights will be judged by RPing ability through voting by members. Upon joining the tournament, you are obliged to vote in every fight of the tournament until it is finished (needless to say, you don't have to be a participant to vote), else you will be disqualified and / or banned from participating in the next tournament (unless of course, you have notified us beforehand on why you cannot cast a vote). This is to prevent fights decided by one or two votes. Cases of a tie will be determined depending on the circumstances.

6) If a person is completely inactive in their battle for over 2 days, he will be disqualified.

7) Battles will be given a full week (7 days) to be completed. Battles under 5 posts with no member being disqualified due to inactivity will result in a double disqualification, unless explicit reason is given, in which case an extension may be granted. Voting will last for 3 days after the battle is concluded, but it may be extended depending on the circumstances. The final battle will be given extra time. Each battle will take place in a specific arena, either a pre-existing location depending on the background of the characters involved or an original generic place.

Good, all 3 added. Yeah, you can use Piccolo's anime-only techniques, just as you can use anime-only characters etc.

If enough participants are against Rule 5, I shall revoke it, but it's pretty sad when a good fight gets determined by only two or three votes... after all, it's not that hard to vote on a battle.

since i do not know a thing about captain falcon i will have to replace the character can i do that JAIF i want to roleplay Rock Lee if possible...

anyone can replace their character with captain falcon if it is allowed sorry JAIF and others... =/
