Round I: Itachi [Nikushimi] vs. Priscilla [Fury]

[Nikushimi]

A hush fell over the crowd as the contestants stepped into the arena. Itachi remained stoic as he walked to the middle of the platform at his own pace, sandals shuffling to a stop as he turned to face his opponent. There was a look of serenity in his eyes, or perhaps listlessness. All the while, Kisame stayed behind with the other contestants, watching from the entrance to the stadium. A firm smile pressed wrinkles into his cheeks as he heard the crowd begin to pick up again, tentatively at first, then with increasing enthusiasm.

"Heh heh heh... 'Interesting' indeed..." he snickered to himself, his beady white eyes fixed on his partner, "What will you do...Itachi-san...?"

"ALLRIGHT, THEN!!!" the announcer shouted, standing between the combatants with his microphone in one hand, "Uchiha Itachi versus...Priscilla! Begin!"

Itachi didn't budge. For a while, the announcer just stared at him, silently, waiting. After a moment, he stepped a little closer, hoping to elicit a response.

"Um...I said you could-"

"You're in the way." the Uchiha interrupted bluntly, showing little interest in what the man had to say.

"Wh-what?"

"If you're within the confines of this arena..." he began, his voice as cold as the look in his eyes, "...I can't promise I won't kill you."

Not another word was said. It wasn't necessary. With a nervous gulp, the announcer shrunk away, leaving Itachi and Priscilla to stare eachother down. It was only at this moment that a gleam of interest showed in Itachi's eyes.

"...There's more to you than meets the eye." he commented, "Show me."

[Fury]

Priscilla had managed to keep quiet throughout her opponents entrance but she had to admit it was tempting to wave to the crowd. Her hood remained over her face, keeping her opponent guessing when it came to her appearance.

"Uchiha Itachi?" She thought to herself as she heard the announcer call his name. "Never heard of him." She shrugged it off it and took a step forward.

"More to me?" Her voice seemed uninterested in what Itachi had said. It almost seemed bored. "Probably." As she finished a small gust of wind shifted her hood slightly; revealing her mouth and pale skin. The grin that was plastered to her face soon took a "demonic" transformatioin as her canines became elongated taking the form of fangs.

"Bisho no Teresa..." With a great burst of strength Priscilla sent herself flying backward. She slid to a stop a ways away from Itachi. Her hand was under her cloak, grasping the handle of something.

"Go."

My Thoughts: Well, after a terrific battle, I must commend both members for responding accordingly & keeping up quality in the heat of things. Actually, no. Nikushimi, you posted once, & Fury posted once. You technically did show up, but there was no battle held. Because Fury posted his introduction & you failed to reply, even after I bumped this & sent you a PM, I'm afraid I have to disqualify you unless Fury, Punxx, or Inuyasha16 say otherwise.

The Uchiha slid into a fighting stance, keeping himself at the ready as his opponent jumped back. Without a word, a clone arched around from her blind-spot, sending a right-hook forward to take her by surprise. Simultaneously, he himself launched an attack from the front, forming a flash of hand movements that were too quick for the audience to keep up with. With his left index and middle fingers to his mouth, Itachi leaned forward and exhaled a breath of fire, sending a glowing orange ball streaming across the arena. Needless to say, those seated behind the woman were frantically scrambling to move out of the line of fire...

Sorry, can't hold up the entire tournament. You had 4 days to battle, it was in the rules.

Yeah, I don't know if voting is open on this one, but Fury gets my vote simply 'cus Niku held up the fight.
