Shodai [Island] vs. ? [?]

The battlefield was a wasteland. It was virtually devoid of life. For as far as the eye could see, there was no one. There were only flames spreading in the background. They devoured everything in sight, from the mighty oaks which once stood tall to the now dying plant-life beneath his boots. Upon sniffing, one would also notice the horrid stench of burning corpses. Fallen Shinobi lay scattered in flames. Their faces, along with their armor began to melt away into nothingness. At the heart of it all were two or three platoons of soldiers. They were men in blood-splattered iron who continued through the battleground. At the head of the unit was a man named Senju Akagashi of the well-known Senju Clan.

Akagashi, or rather, Shodai Hokage was the founder of Konohagakure – the Village Hidden in the Leaves. He was a bold, charismatic individual who bore hefty, scarlet armor over his shoulders, torso, and sides. Beneath the front of his long, abyss-colored hair was the emblem of Konoha – a swirling leaf. It was embedded on a plate of iron which was held up by a headband tired around the man’s forehead. The symbol was scratched, following a few wounds on his face and torso. Blood dripped from his chest-plate. Whether it was his or a victim’s was unknown. Regardless, it was apparent whose side had won the battle and who lost. As the soldiers approached a casualty, Shodai got on one knee to examine the fallen enemy, "Hm, this one, he wasn't one of our victims...?"

"Scatter!"

For this, Shodai has a forename of Akagashi. Therefore, his name is Senji Akagashi. The setting is outside Konoha, and I won't specify a date. You may be any Naruto, Bleach, etc, character, providing it's within reason. I don't mind if you end up Role-Playing Sasori or someone, despite the impossibility. Also, don't worry about Shodai's platoon. He ordered them away, so he can fight whoever you choose to be, one-on-one. One last note, don't be an idiot. I'm looking for a challenge, not a fuckin' moron who can't type.

Soft tapping echoed behind Shodai, each passing second the sound grew louder. Ominously, a body creeped through the flaming forests that once was filled with life. The crackling of the flames only added to his suspicious appearance. The dark shoes that wrapped around his feet patted on the battle-worn ground once more, before the figure came to a halt, standing over Shodai’s knelt body.

The armor arranged over the black cloth on his frame didn’t vary much from the Hokage’s own—crimson samurai armor that covered his shoulders and his upperbody. The rest of invisible skin was covered by the black cloth under the armor, which seemed baggier than Akagashi’s. Positioned above his eyes was a headband, matching that of Shodai’s; the black material wrapped tight around his head, going under his spiked hair in the back, with a metal portion placed over his forehead, the insignia of Konoha etched into it. Finalizing his features, a single crimson colored eye prominently stuck out from under the long, black bangs of his hair.

That solitary eye, marked with three dark comma-like shapes, remained focused on Shodai, and the man didn’t speak a word.

Knowing he's an Uchiha with Mangekyou seems just about on even ground as knowing Shodai can control wood. Unless he's been shown to do more, that I don't remember. =/
