Eragon vs Arros

[Eragon]

There was a roar of wind, as if from the flapping of a pair of wings, as a large silhouette crossed over it, something that looked like a giant bird, which swallowed the sun for a fleeting instant, followed by what seemed like a straggler of its own species. If anyone had looked up, they would have been surprised; neither seemed like any creature that would appear in nature, being many times the size of a normal person, and appearing to lack feathers; in their place, an odd, pale yellow substance which seemed to resemble clay.

Appropriate therefore; for those astride their backs were not normal men. Both wore a similar uniform, of crimson clouds dotted upon a cloak as dark as the night itself, and with straw hats concealing heir aces, whose bells jingled in the wind. The foremost tilted their hat back, revealing a blonde strip which was whipped across his face, and revealing something resembling a camera attached to his let eye, the other sealed shut. His partner had plonked himself down upon the neck of his own bird, legs crossed, and seemed to b almost happily humming; the only real outstanding feature seemed to be the mask which covered his face; an orange spiral, focusing upon a black hole on his right eye socket. Unlike the first man, who wore a plate of steel with three rocks hammered into it and a line scratching them out, this one wore nothing; essentially an enigma. After a moment, noticing the thing grin that had appeared on his allies face, he craned his neck towards him; for a moment, something seemed to glisten in the eyehole, a blood red, of almost murderous intent. I must have been nothing more than a trick of the light, however, since when he spoke, it was boisterousness and childishness, rolled into one.

“Oh! Deidara-Sempai! Did you find something?!”

“Hmph…yeah,” he answered after a moment, almost with a sneer of arrogance, gesturing towards the ground with a finger that had materialised from the long sleeve of his robes, a ring with the kanji Seiryū inside it reflecting the shimmering daylight. “Take a look Tobi, hm.”

Scurrying towards the edge of his craft, the pumpkin-headed ninja peered over the side, straining his eye as much as he could. All he could see below them were rolling hills; mounds and mounds of vacant Greenland, littered with he occasional flowers, and framed by a ring of tree’s, with some picturesque mountains glowing pink ad blue in the distance; he definitely couldn’t see what would make his sempai so pleased, and whined as much; Deidara merely smirked.

And what two little cartoonish characters could be skimmering below the giant clay behemoth? Why, none another than our favorite DBZ YC...

Yes, our heroes from the fics, what they are doing here I don't know. They could've gotten lost, ran away from Vegito, blew up a city and are on the run. I really don't know, nor do I really give a damn.

Goten-Trunks look in the sky?

Trunks-You know, like when your playing Halo 3 and there's some dude comming behind to assassinate you.

The boys standing in the distance, completely oblivious that Goten had accidenly shot a ki blast through the earth and blown up Moscow. They were afraid, who wouldn't be. A giant clay bird just comes out knowhere in front of two boys, only 7 and 8. Sure they're used to beating the crap out of universe-exploding opponents, and back handing magical gun wielding maniacs...but come on.

Goten-Should we fuse?

Trunks-Fusing is for the weak.

Goten-...

Trunks-Let's wait, maybe its friendly. See if it lands.

Goten-Did you know that 2+2=Hooters.

The children wait, but some sort of fear is constricting their small pluny hearts and plopping it into the gaping mouth of the shark from Jaws.

How frightening.

“Oh! Now I see!” the masked shinobi announced, in the sort of tone that implied a grin had spread. “It’s some tiny little ants down there… you have really good eyesight, Sempai!”

The grin that had crept onto the males face, however, seemed unaffected, reaching within his robes slowly. “It’s just some little brats, Tobi, hm. No fun at all…”

As he spoke, there was a slow sloshing sound, like a tongue working its way around something, shaping it, crafting and manipulating it. Slowly, he raised his arm, the robe receding to reveal a bare hand, clenched tight into a fist, which he gradually released, a small sparrow sitting in the centre of his palm, resembling the bird he himself rode. “This should be more than enough, ye-”

The planet shook beneath them, and his jaw dropped mid-sentence, eye’s widening in horror at the beam that suddenly pierced the earth and tore a straight tunnel; more than a mere scar upon the earth, more like a bloody gash. Tobi’s voice reflected the ridiculous expression Deidara’s had contorted into, resonating with shock and fear.

“Wo-woah…”
“Grr…”

A growl escaped the blonde-haired bombers lips, teeth gritting together as his hand snapped shut upon the frightened creation. “De-Deidara-Sempai…?!?”

“We need a new plan, hm,” he muttered, lowering his arm to his side once more, and turning his neck to look at, what-he-assumed, a nervous looking Tobi.
“Alright, follow me, hm!” he barked in command; instantly, as though to his will, his carrier suddenly shot upwards into the sky, beginning to spin gracefully in mid-air followed likewise by Tobi’s, who was the exact opposite, and grasping his own carrier for dear life whilst screaming. The sound only seemed to make the grin on his senior’s face grow larger.

Beautifully, the two birds spiralled around one another as they rose, reaching he apex above the twin saiyans in a matter o moments, and beginning to arc before, inexorably… gravity took over, and they both collapsed like a tonne of bricks, continuing their air-dance, and aiming to collapse upon the two boys.

Excessive?
Probably.
But when you dealt with freaks of such a level, overkill was worth it.

[Arros]

The boys stood in the open rather stupidly, and it wasn't until the sound of the crash echoed around, and both Goten and Trunks flew back before being crushed like a small ant in the jaws of a mantis.

Goten-What the lemming was that?

Trunks-By my eyes, either two large clay birds, or a illusionary rock. Seeing as how it actually did something I'm going to say two large clay birds.

Goten-You know everything Trunks.

Trunks-Yes, yes I do. Well it seems like their too friendly although their outfits did look familar

Goten-Yes, they have the same clothes as Itach-san wears. Do you think they're related somehow.

Now this mindless conversation between two small boys saying each sentence loudly so that everyone can hear might have proposed some threat. However there was no threat so ignore previous sentence. So many things could be said at the moment, but the two half-saiyan now knew that these opponents meant busness.

Trunks-Hey! If you want to fall on someone and crush them, do it at Vegito's place.

Goten-HEY! ARE YOU RELATED TO ITACHI-SAN!

Trunks-Goten! This is no time to ask questios.

Goten-Fine Trunks. I won't ask a question HEY WHAT'S YOUR NAME!

Will these questions be answered.

Or will two small boys procede to get their ass beat down by two members of the ultimate evil organization.

Due to the messed up world they come from, they could just blow up the moon and somehow create an Ice Age.

Like that'll ever happen.

[Eragon]

A slow ring resonated in the arena following the two children’s movement, the birds connecting with one another just above the ground. They began to glow, rather ominously; the next instant, hey had vanished behind a peal of smoke, as an explosion erupted, turning the peaceful grasslands into a fiery crater, with of sight of either Akatsuki.

“Heh… so, you guys know Iachi-San? Hm?”

The arrogance floated from the far side of the smoke cloud, from an indistinguishable shadow upon the pillar of dust; two figures, in fact, one of whom had bolted upright at the mention of the strongest in Akatsuki.

“Uchiha Itahi? Hm?”the shadow repeated, suddenly punctuated by a high pitched squeal rom the one standing next to him, who suddenly waved.

“Oh! Hello! If you know Itachi… It’s nice to meet you!”
“Shut-up Tobi! Hm!”
There was a sharp ‘thwack’, and the second voice crouched over, clasping the back of his head in discontent, a loud sigh being audible.

“..So? Uchiha Itahi?”

[Arros]

Goten-Yes we know him. Good guy, always vacant though. Just Tsukuyomiing the crap out of everything, did it twice to me once. Not a very good feeling I must say. It's kind of weird how Vegito got the Mankengyo Sharingan.

As though two members of Akatsuki had NOT just tried to kill them, Goten was speaking in his on little Gotenish self. He was oblivious to the wonders and terrors of the world. Plus, talking about werd characters attaining the ultimate eye of power must've really FTW out of Tobi and Diedara. Espedially Tobi.

Trunks-Well...ummm, ignorning my young friend here. I'm Trunks.

Goten-I'm Goten John Son, or just Goten.

Trunks-Yeah, and ummm, well I.

Goten-Why did you try to crash land on us and kill us? Or was that just an accident.

Although Goten was being narrow-minded, the purprled-haired youth could sense danger. He was the Brick-laying pig, who was smart and didn't build houses of mud and twigs. Hell, he was a freaking genius for an 8 year old.

Trunks-Goten, be on guard.

The tension was rising...when would the first strike come?

[Eragon]

“Tsukuyomi? Heh… those damn eyes of his… hm…”
His tone became, almost high pitched; it sounded as if he were speaking through grit teeth, with the wisdom of experience. The pale figure raised an arm, as though to brush that large bang of hair out of his eye, lifting the other as he did.

‘Itachi isn’t a good guy, hm. Still, best not take any chances; if these brats know him, better to finish them quick, yeah.’

“So, you those eyes of his hurt? Yeah?!”
As Deidara spoke, a gentle breeze lifted the wall of dust between them, to reveal a gaping crater of charred dirt and ash, and beyond that, a manic grin hat had spread across the bombers face. A slow sound, like many insects moving in synch located in he air, and Tobi was no where to be seen.

“Then you should know, my art is a bang! Katsu!”
With the final word, he placed his hands together and, just as with the birds, light bgn to shimmer from the plastic explosives, the small insects that crawled around and upon Trunks and Goten, ready to detonate.

[Arros]

Goten-Well you...WHAT THE...!?

Stopped mid sentence, which probably wouldn't have meant anything but randomness. The young boy was fired backwards from the detonation, sliding across the ground a few feet away and clutching his face.

Trunks on the other hand, being on guard as he had told Goten had managed to dodge, and wore a facial expression appropriate for his DBZish nature.

Goten on the other hand was now writhing in pain on the ground.

Goten-AHHHHH!! WHAT THE CRAP WAS THAT FOR!!! DUDE HIT MY FACE!! DAMN!!

Trunks-I told you to be on guard, these two...*looks to see Tobi is gone* I mean, this one is dangerous. She might be on Vegito's level, perhaps even stronger.

Goten-They're both dead! I'll sacrifice them to the great god Jashin-Sama!

With these brutal words, Goten pulled from his pocket, his grand weapon. a 5ft long scythe ready to cut and dice apart his art-exploding loving foe.

Trunks-I wonder what happened to the masked dude?

[Eragon]

As if to answer Trunks’ question, the earth beneath the children rumbled once again, this time much more gently, and more localised; specifically, to the small appearing mound of earth directly beneath Goten’s feet. A sound filled the air, something almost akin to digging, or burrowing; suddenly, with a delicate plop, a small, orange-and-black masked head appeared, the small crop of raven hair heightening the resemblance to some sort of vegetable. Seemingly oblivious to where he was positioned, the young shinobi instead intook sharply as he glanced towards his partner, waving a hand enthusiastically.

“Sempai!! Explosives are activated!” he announced cheerfully, with the sort of tone that would imply a broad, ‘shit-eating’ grin, which no doubt slowly vanished at the sight of Deidara’s pale face, drawn tightly into a grimace of shock at Goten’s weapon.

‘He… that things bigger than him… where’d he been keeping that?’ he questioned himself, with an erratic twitch of his eye, half-slumping over, until he realised his young pupils return. The ‘young pupil’ however, seemed more puzzled than ever at the artists behaviour, tilting his head onto his shoulder, and scratching it with a black gloved hand.
“Huh? Sempai’s acting weird…” he announced, to no one in particular, before the sheen of the scythe reflected upon his little eyehole, attracting attention. Somehow, he spun round underground, so he was facing the young hybrid, staring up at him.

“Now little boy,” he began, in a lecturing sort of voice. “Don’t you know you shouldn’t be playing with big… long…”
“…”
“DEIDARA-SEMPAI!!!”

He emitted a high pitched scream of horror, and suddenly appeared behind the stunned looking male, clutching an arm as tears streamed down his face. “PROTECT MEE~!!”

“Che… Tobi,” the man muttered, glancing towards the weapon with some apprehension of his own. It seemed to resemble Hidan’s scythe… similar jutsus maybe?
A slow grin spread across his face once more. It wouldn’t be hard to avoid, even if those brats did survive this attack…

“Katsu!” he announced again, forming the same hand sign, carefully planted pieces of clay in the ground around the children beginning to go off…

Goten-Not this time!

The once care-free, and senseless boy had finally come to a decisive conclusion. He may have been obnoxious, but he was a good listener and it take much to realize what Tobi said.

The guy had actually yelled out that there were explosive, not that grand of an idea.

Jumping into the air, and suddenlyfloating, more so delivering more shock to the members of Akatsuki.

Goten-Explosion won't help you when Jashin-Sama delivers his fine judgement on your worthless carcasses. How do you plead? I'll tell you, YOU WANT MERCY BUT YOU WON'T GET ANY!

Crying like a wildabeast under a tractor, the child thrust forward and aimed to slice off Diedara's head.

Trunks-You!

Trunks on the other hand had appeare behid Tobi, his hand closed together to deliver a fine punch.

Meanwhile, another figure was watching. His irked face squinted in his forever bad mood.

The shadows barely covering the M on his forehead.

Mysterious figure whose name you probably already know-Akatsuki? What did Goten do to screw things up now with them. They should be able to handle themelves.

[Eragon]

'Damnit!'
As Goten produced his weapon, there wasn't much time for anything; no time for the shock at the pairs light to cross his expression, no chance to ell Tobi to, basically, stop 'spazzing out' and move. Instead, h only thought on Deidara's mind was to escape the arc of the blade, as if it were like Hidans. Especially as if it were like Hidan's.

As such, when the blade sliced through the hair it took with it merely the bare minimum of it's targets ponytail, the nija himself kicking back instantly to avoid it. Gritting his teeth, whiles in mid-air, he crossed his arms to opposie sides of his hip isde his robe, dipping each into a bag.
'These brats are better than I gave them credit for, hm. C1 isn't gonna do much good... I need to find an opening for that jutsu...'

As his partner consdered his battle plans, Tobi pivoted slowly on the spot, peering over his shoulder to see the purple haired Brief's lining up a sucker punch; right on, and with no real chance of escape. Instead, he raised his hand to where his mouth should of been, and suealed in a high pitch voice.
"OH NOES!" he suealed i terror as the blow connected... then threw itself past him, along with it's owner, right through the ninja's body. "NOT!"

"Tobi!" Deidara barked as he landed in a crouching position, hand paced flat against the soil. "Don't underestimate these brats, hm."

"Ossu!" he yelled back, snapping his hand to a salute.
"Whatever you say Sempai, Tobi is a good boy!"

[Arros]

The two children jumped back, landing simultaneously together, Goten sporting a manic grin that just didn't suit his cute physique. Trunks too was sporting a grin of happiness, thought less insane.

Goten-HEY YOU!

Goten cried, suddenly pointing at Tobi.

Goten-I'll give $10 if you attack your partner!

[Eragon]

“…Whats a $?” Tobi questioned brightly, somehow managing to voice the symbol, rather than what it represented. He almost sounded confused, or as though he was atually considering the offer, as he raised a gloved hand to the bottom of his mask, and stroked it in thought.

‘I don’t believe it… ‘

“Hm…should I do it Senpai?!?”he yelled aross the battlefield, waving his arms to Deidara, who was couched over, with his hands pressed tight together. “Tobi’s family is very poor… we could not afford a last name!”

‘That explains, so much…’ the artist mentally grimaced; however, he allowed a cocky grin to spread from ear to ear the next moment. “Heh… don’t bother Tobi, hm. In a few seconds, these two brats are finished anyway,”

He drew his hands apart, slowly and surely; between them, growing as the gap widened was a thick oozing clay, becoming stretched and taut. The manic expression on his expression widened as it walloped on the ground, forming a rapid hand sign. A puff of smoke concealed the bomber once more, this one vanishing much quickly than before, in mere moments actually, to reveal a monstrous shape…

Towering over the battlefield, resting upon four legs; a gargantuan clay dragon. Its tail, segmented and huge, whipped out slowly behind it mere metres from levelling the nearby forest, and all along it’s neck ran a trio spiney protrusions. Its face was horrifyingly lifeless; empty eye sockets, with a log chin and horns that made it resemble a devil. The sight of it certainly caused Tobi to shake as though it were on.

‘To force me to use C-2 this quickly…’ the young bomber couldn’t help but note, ‘these aren’t ordinary brats.. but…’
“This isn’t ordinary art either!” he screamed, the sort of smile Itachi might wear exploding onto his ace. With an almost violent flourish, he kicked the ground suddenly and landed on the dragon’s head with his feet shoulder length apart, and his visible eye widening, the pupil dilating and contracting.

“This artwork is Super-Flat!”
“Ha-has Sempai forgotten I’m still here?!?”

[Arros]

Hidden within the shadows, unseen by nothing but himself. Our silent figure awaits, fist clenched at the clay behemouth that had thus been created. Sweat was dropping down, he was in fear.

MGOXSAOD-That guys Chakra. Its strong, it may even be Reitsu level.

Goten and Trunks screamed in fear, their puny stature nothing but a reminder of their miniscule height. They had remeber dragons during their childhood.

Poor Goten, his older brother had been killed by dragon when he was 2 years old. The event scarred him, leaving him afraid of the creatures for a long time.

The two children raised their hands, and were ready to be taken in.
