I hope we get more entries, or I may end up spreading out these contests a bit. That way we might be able to implement some learning tools for members that would like to get into the craft.

No. For example, I use GIMP, some use photoshop, and others use other stuff.

Even when actually making nice stuff it's all about learning your program. A knowledgeable user can have a weak program and produce nice stuff. ;)
