Can anyone let me know if they are still interested in making logos because if they are I will leave this open for a while longer but if no one replies then I will close this.

Personally, I like Gogeton's moreso than the other two.

Things look kind of official, or something I can mostly see on hats, which is something we might want to do, but still - I'd like to see something..logo-ish. Memerable, in how it reflects the site. Like..the kind of logo you would see on a pop-can. Coca Cola. Pepsi. Basic, eyecatching. I like the basic design of Gogeaton's..I'd like to see something in a kind of similar layout, simplified a bit, and in IPB colors. I'd like to see how that looks. In fact, I'd make it, if I could...I could try to draw it, and see if anyone else wants to use it.

This is the only one that worked. The other scans cut out most of the image. The other version, had the line through the middle as the second..thing, on the letter "F"..I'm anxious to see if anyone could build off this sort of thing...

Thanks for the entrys guys. Im going to look over them and put them to Ace and see if he is interested in any of them.
I will let you know what he says. If that route isnt chosen then we will think of something else.

I'd like to resurrect this topic. Any new logo ideas would be most welcome!

As before, the goal is to create something that would work well on T-shirts, hoodies, etc -- and hopefully on the main MFG site and the forum too.

This is revived? Well then..uhhh I'm off tomorrow so i'll see if i can get on here and mess around. All my ps files were deleted by a virus last week so not sure if I still have the first design thnigy....unless i put it in a different folder. Oh well...I'll look into this tomorrow.

Thats pretty nice, I like that. Sasuke and Vegeta epic paring, you did a good job there dude. I'm guessing the back of the top is just plain.

We should probably reiterate that anime characters will not likely be allowed as it would infringe on copyrights. Especially if we plan on making money off of these.

Can't wait to see what gets used.

I thought of copyright infringement.....if anything they should be happy something with dbz is coming out to remind people its still cool, lol.

Any copyright issues are not likely to be challenged by the copyright holders. However, since "exclusive" licenses to use the DB/Z characters on tees, mugs, etc, have previously been sold to third-parties, they are the ones who could make life difficult.

MFG is operating under a legal disclaimer that allows use of FUNimation characters on the web. I would rather not risk that arrangement by violating one of their existing "real world" licensing agreements.

Also, CafePress can be weird about this kind of thing. They sometimes require proof that you have the right to use particular images.
