The world has left me in despair!

With this lack of motivation, I can hardly pay much attention to any studies at school. It all feels pointless. Even if you get through one level of education, there is only more work waiting for you, in the form of another level of education, or actual work life itself. I can hardly see any redeeming points in all this. All work and no play.
Motivate me.

Become an author. You rarely see a happy influential author, now do you? I think you'd be perfect for it. Plus later in life you have the right of way to become an alcoholic and kill yourself like some of the better ones did. |

I never read much Hemingway, only a short story called In Our Time, but it wasn't deplorable. Started off nicely too. Every body was drunk. The whole battery was drunk along the side of the road in the dark." <--Now that's how you start a story. |
