Itachi vs Anything - Page 5

This section should be renamed "Itachi", srsly.

Now, this topic is slightly different from the others. In this topic, only hand-to-hand combat, i.e., Taijutsu, is allowed, along with anything that relates to physical ability or the enhancement thereof (i.e., Sharingan).

Here's the catch, though: Absolute balanced power. Meaning equal strength and equal speed. This, of course, leaves sheer fighting technique and prowess as the only area of ability subject to question.

A sample of Itachi's hand-to-hand skill and style:

He relies on complex grapples and throws, redirecting rather than or in conjunction with blocking, and utilizes techniques similar to what you might find in a user of Jujutsu. Add onto that, Sharingan grants him perception of enemy movement to such degree, he can seemingly react to an action before said action is made.

So, do we have any challengers?

And yes, I am stirring things up, and also yes, I am enjoying myself quite a lot.

Sorry, I didn't read correctly, I thought you meant Itachi against anything, but now I see it's hand to hand. So, no weapons allowed?

I dunno. I guess weaponry could be considered a type of physical combat (although, I DID specify "hand-to-hand", but whatever).

So, since Shikai and Bankai are a kind of enhancement, can I go with hollow Ichigo? Since his bankai multiplies his speed and power drasticly. We make him start at balanced power, then he uses Shikai and Bankai to multiplie his strength and speed. I have a feeling you're going to say it's illegal.

Actually, inherent traits like Shi-kai and Ban-kai are allowed in balanced power match-ups, even if they multiply the user's strenght. But then again, you'd have to start Itachi at base, w/o Sharingan, and make him equal to Ichigo's base, and then you'd have a whole different story in your hands...

Either way, in balanced power hand-to-hand combat, Itachi is invincible. Even if the opponent has a superior fighting style, Itachi can just copy it with the Sharingan, and since it's balanced power, his body can automatically use it against his enemy. The only way to beat Itachi there would have to be applying multipliers such as transformations and power-ups, or using special weaponry.

DBZ doesn't need a room to overridden Laws. Itachi said nothing but a Mangekyo Sharingan user which means omnipotent/immortal are excluded. You are really contradicting your own theory.

Actually, I was expecting someone to bring that up at some point. Just not so soon.

Although...I did say "absolute balanced power", i.e., Strength and Speed equal. I also said "anything that relates to physical ability or the enhancement thereof", not "and any techniques/transformations that would increase strength and/or speed above the bar". Sharingan enhances Itachi's perception, which allows him to fight better, but his physical power and speed remain unchanged. ;)

Srsly, read Nikushimi's post first.

And Niku, Shikai and Bankai are related to the enhancement of physical attributes, since they are techniques, and even though most would remain unused since this is only hand-to-hand (example, Byakuya could not use Senbon-zakura in a hand-to-hand match-up), Ichigo's would just do the trick. Although, a 5x speed would not be enough for Itachi not to be able to follow, and if "balanced power" means Itachi (w/o Sharingan) = Ichigo (base), then Itachi (w/ Sharingan) should be able to beat Ichigo (Bankai) in hand-to-hand.
