So I STILL haven't finished Hellsing, and it's hardly as great as people make it out to be, the artwork isn't even great, though I applaud Kouta for the work when Alucard is blown to pieces etc. now that is the the best part of his work, the rest is average at best. I'll try and finish it all tonight, no rush.

er, how should I put it. It's a story of a high school senior who founds a shinigami's (death god's) death note. If you write a person's name in that notebook, he or she dies in 40 seconds. With it this student is about to make "a world a better place". However, interpol notices a sudden raise in the deaths of criminals and begins an investigations. The person leading the investigation is as smart as that student. So basically, the whole manga is a duel of intelects. But it's really interesting. Despite the fact that there's a lot to read.

I suggest you check out Helling Ultimate ova, it's fucking amazing. I've seen the original Hellsing series and Hellsing Ultimate blows it out of the water. Of course there is only a sub for it as it wasn't made too long ago and I saw it in perfect form. It's really good, I'm sure the manga for that is great as well.

I've seen it Raven, it is amazing, though I did like the animation for the Gonzo version better, the new OVA is out tomorrow, I'll try and get a hold of it soon. I dunno about the manga, I've read up to volume 4, it's a bit over-rated.

Yup, the kind of stuff will get old in the long run. That is like the best part in 'Castle Through The Looking Glass'.
Ehh ... yeah. The power of surgery or healing is the one that helps the wounded, not just love. Anything that isn't designed to be bulletproof, love does not have its place to stop from being shot to death. Haha, yup.
The same goes for me. Anime shows need to be more real about sudden death situtations, just like the part when Kagome did try to use the power of love through kissing to stop the full demonic transformation of InuYasha. Meh, aside from love, she and InuYasha do fight a lot. So yeah, your quite right - If InuYasha had the guts to stop being so verbal against her, she would be dead in a minute. As such, the whole series can go on without her. 0_o

the power of love is just one of those things that you just learn to live with in anime and manga. I just wish it wasn't done to death.
