Would someone be able to recommend a few good Martial Arts type Animes? I just finished watching Tenjou Tenge, and that was really good, but the ending of the Anime leaves much to be desired. My friend recommended Flame of Rekka, after watching the first episode I didn't like it much. What other good Martial Arts Animes are out there, similar in fashion to Tenjou Tenge or Samurai Champloo, preferably of the 26 episode variety.

The manga for Tenjou Tenge is much better, read it now!
Histories Strongest Disciple Kenichi - martial arts Hajime No Ippo - Boxing The manga for it is better as well, but anime isn't bad. Grappler Baki Ikkitousen - matches Tenjou on the boobs exposure, and pretty much borders on soft porn xD Ultra Red - not sure if its an anime though. Shin Hokuto No Ken aka Fist of The North Star Air Master Theres a few for ya. Chibs: Perhaps I might read it... cute girls killing people seems interesting. |

Hey im new to MFG and although i've been a big anime fan for over 10 yrs i've never really read any manga - lol, i didnt even know what manga was or that most anime is based on a manga until i visited my first message board about 2 yrs ago - so can any one reccomend me some good mangas to start with. The Mangas i have read are Bleach, Gantz and Naruto but i'm fully up to date on those and am bored waiting for new issues to come out, especially Gantz which seems to take about a month for each new chapter at the moment!

...But we'll just see where that goes for lulz. Manga You should try D.Gray Man since it's right up there with those types of manga. Eden: It's an Endless world if you like good art and well structured and complex plotline. Battle Angel Alita if you like...Cyborgs and that whole genre. Battle Royale if you like pure killfests Vagabond if you like historical swordfighting Anime D.Gray Man anime is good too. Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho:Tou, it's very similar to the shounen animes like Naruto and Bleach only just a wee bit better.
