If Itachi thought that just getting a Mangekyou Sharingan that would not deteriorate his eyesight, allowing him to use his techniques without the vision problems, could put him above Madara, then I have no doubts that if Sasuke joined in, they could destroy him in his current state. The question is how, since Madara seems invulnerable to all attacks. But Itachi did state that he could be stronger, so I think he has some trick with the Mangekyou that could counter that.

Think about it. Sasuke was able to slay a legion of ninjas at Orochimaru's. Itachi and a depowered Madara was able to take out the entire Uchiha clan. And Itachi even confirmed that Madara was a lot more powerful than he was in his current state.
Remember when Kurnai used the tree genjutsu on Itachi and he said that a low level jutsu like that wouldn't work on him. And that Sasuke and Itachi had to go ninjutsu against eachother, since genjutsu had no effect on any of them.
Not even the Amaterasu had any effect on Madara. And that's Itachia's second most powerful jutsu.
And I have trouble seeing how Madara wouldn't just phase through the Susano'o.

Dark Skywalker... don't push it. You've already been warned not to spam. You've actually been suspended for it. It is unwise to test your limits.

We do have Itachi's statement that he would be stronger than Madara if he had the permanent Mangekyou Sharingan. He even implied he was stronger than him in his current state. He wouldn't really say that if he would be defeated by him.

What abilities did madara when he had both eyes?

He probably had one or two additional jutsu, going by Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan. If you ask me, Madara is using Obito's revived body. Madara's Sharingan has the dimension-travelling ability that allows his own body to warp elsewhere and avoid attacks, Kakashi's Sharingan has the portal ability that allows him to warp whatever he targets into another dimension, and they're both two sides of the same coin, really, same how Itachi has Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. There's probably something he can do with both, like Susano'o. But it's all speculation, mostly.

Assuming that Sasuke and Itachi have similar Mangekeyo Sharingan abilities, and Madara has something far beyond that, Madara would win.
Plus he has the worm hole thingy.
