Zabuza and Haku vs. Team Guy

Team Guy gets assigned the same mission as Team Kakashi.

Guy can use up to the 6th gate and Lee the 5th.

Who wins?

Well back in that arc I think strength went like this:

Kakashi > Gai > Zabuza > Kyuubi possessed Naruto > Haku > Neji > Lee > Sasuke > Naruto > Sakura > TenTen

I think Gai could take Zabuza straight up and then Neji and Lee together could beat Haku. TenTen wouldn't really be much of a factor considering the strength of Haku and Zabuza.

Sixth Gate? That's insane. Gai could arguably beat him without opening any gates, I wouldn't push it further than the first, but sixth? It'd literally be over in a matter of seconds, if that.

Gai takes Zabuza out, either at base or first gate depending on the circumstances, Rock Lee can handle Haku if he removes the weights and opens the first gate or two, Neji could do it by himself, Tenten would ultimately just serve a support role, protecting Tazuna. And no, series start Sakura isn't stronger than Tenten. =/

I was just putting it out there, I know it is quite a bit too.

So how about with No Gates or with the 1st and 2nd could they do it?

They could, because even if Gai had an awkward time fighting in the mist, Neji's Byakugan could penetrate it. Without any gates, Lee might be in trouble though, if he can't hold out until the others finish, Tenten's support might buy him more time. With any of the gates in the picture though, that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Basically. Team Kakashi had just become Genin, whereas the members of team Gai had been full-fledged ninja for a year, had the strongest students at the time, and probably the only other Jounin in Konoha that could match and beat Kakashi as a squad leader, so it's to be expected.

Alright then how would the other teams do.
Asuma's, Kurinias, and well Gaara's, since apperently water weakens his sand severly, even though that was filler it would make sense.

Team Gai takes this in a matter of...minutes. Neji would be a bad match up for Haku because he has his absolute defense. Tenten would be a decent one imo because she is good at weaponry and might find a way to fend off Haku's needles...Rock Lee in his higher gated forms would pulverize Haku. Most likely fifth gate would be twice the level of semi-kyuubi naruto or more. Hell, Rock Lee with that power might be able to best Zabuza for a while if the mist isn't much of a hassle.

Team Gai and Team Baki (bar Baki but Gaara makes up for it) are both superior to Team Kakashi at this point by quite a bit so against Zabuza and Haku I see victory for the teams. For Team 10 and Team 8 I don't think so.

Gaara's team could easily beat Zabuza and Haku...Temari could keep mist at bay while Gaara and Kankuro are in there duking it out with Zabuza and Haku...

Since Kankuro's got poison and an arsenal of puppetry on his side and garra can hold his own ( even if his sand gets wet he can generate more )

Baki would have to fight Zabuza, not Gaara. At that time, he's not nearly strong enough to do anything, with or without Kankuro, or both Kankuro and Temari for that matter. Baki could possibly take out Zabuza with Temari's help (with the mist), and Gaara and Kankuro would have to focus on Haku. Gaara's sand wouldn't be able to keep up with Haku's speed to block direct attacks, but should be able to block the throwing needles. Kankuro might be a sitting duck, however, although I'm sure he could at least slow Haku down a bit, which would be significant however little - once Gaara got a hold of his opponent, it'd be over, but getting a hold of the opponent is the problem. If Gaara used his transformed state though, it'd be totally one-sided.
