True but Kakuzu has no knowledge of this. Tyranitar loves to battle, it will destroy mountains and deface rivers just so it can find one. Once a Tyranitar (which w/should be a Level 55 or higher) sees an opening to battle; he'll open up some sort of an major high powered attack. This Pokémon is a beyond cocky fighter.
Hmmm, I know Tyranitar can learn such moves as Detect (best move for protection), Protect (may fail), and endure. Though they aren't known for there smartness. I'd have to say Tyranitar wins easily though his coating would be enough to stop most or brace most attacks. His base stat defense is flawless in terms of numbers, as well as his special (for moves like Flamethrower, Protect, and Thunder), his attack is also
