I was just reading the Hidan and Kakuza battle and it got me thinking a few things...


1. How would you compare Kakuza (1 Heart) to Kabuto/Kakashi.

2. How would you compare the damage Kabuto took from Sanbi Naruto to Genin Rasengan Naruto.

3. How would Sanbi/Yonbi Naruto mouth blast compare to Fuuton: Rasenshuriken?

1. Kakuzu would be a bit weaker, considering his loss of elemental combinations.
2. I'd say he took more damage from the Rasengan
3. Mouth Blast >> Rasenshuriken. By a bit, actually.

I believe that the Mouth Blast would do more environmental damage and physical destruction, but with the right moves, it can be tanked. Rasenshuriken destroys human targets at the molecular level, making it nigh-impossible to effectively tank.
For widespread damage, the Mouth Blast is superior. For a smaller, living target, the Rasenshuriken deals more indefensible damage to the body, and thus it is superior.

But the mouth blast can be shot from a great distance and the Rasenshuriken cannot. Also, if either were to hit it's target directly, they would be disintergrated. And I doubt there are many forces out their that can stop the mouth blast.

Orochimaru brought up the three gates and tanked the blast. If he were to be hit by the Rasenshuriken, his body would be jacked on a molecular level. Like I said before, the Mouth Blast deals a wider area of damage, but against a single opponent, the Rasenshurken presents little opportunity not to be put down for the count.

If he were to be hit by the mouth blast, he would be disintergrated.

Except for the fact that one has to come close to the enemy to use it. One could stop you if he attacked from a distance. With the mouth blast you don't get that chance.

That's the thing, see. Depending on the scenario, each could deal greater damage.

Basically the mouth blast is like a rocket, being able to be shot from far away. RS is like a shotgun blast, effective at close range especially. With the RS, you need to make sure you can get in close to get the overkill on your opponent. But you're better off being a sharp shooter with something like the mouth blast to do max damage.

The rocket can potentially do no damage if the target runs in a bomb shelter. The shotgun with armor piercing slugs is just nigh of a surefire kill when used. Yes, the rocket would do more damage if the person just took it. However, they can use ways to defend themselves from the execution range of the rocket. They can not defend themselves effectively from the execution range of the shotgun with armor piercing rounds.

I'm with Felix on this issue.

As for Kakuzu with a single heart, I think Kakashi might've eventually been able to take out one heart. It depends on the circumstances, but I think he could've done it with plenty of difficulty. Two hearts is way beyond what Kakashi can handle alone, though.

In terms of destructive power, attacks from Sanbi Naruto are probably stronger than Fuuton: Rasen Shuriken from Base Naruto. The same is true with the Yonbi chakra blast. However, as Felix said, Fuuton: Rasen Shuriken is more of a concentrated effort on a single opponent, and is definitely the deadliest. The drawbacks are about even, though, as the chakra blast's range allows time to react, while Fuuton: Rasen Shuriken has a very small range and is ineffective unless you can get right into close-quarters with your target.
