I think he'll first do the obligatory "NOOOOOOOOOoooooo" scream, then there will be tears, Sakura hugs him, they both start blushing. It will be very Shojou until he goes all bad-ass saying something like: "I'll kill that bastard >_>"

I dont think he will believe at first then he will mourn over his death for awhile. Since Jiraiya was pratically a father to Naruto. Then Naruto will go fox mode and lose control of himself. Thats if Pein tells him Jiraiya is dead.

He'll probably turn Yonbi and go absolutely postal on Pein's ass, only to get beat down.
Later on, he'll get the key and unlock the rest of the Kyuubi's power, and then he'll face Pein in battle again and rip him a new one.

I Think that he would be angry & ready to rush off to find Pein to get revenge, then get reminded that since Pein was able to kill Jiraiya, that he himself would not be able to defeat him. A lot of training will ensue & a stronger Naruto most likely with an overall stronger team Kakashi would go after him.

Naruto rushes out to defeat Pein and gets wtf-pwned. Then, main-character h4xx kicks in and Naruto goes Zyuubi (10-tails) on his ass. However, Sasuke, who has recently joined the Akatsuki, steps in to protect Pein and, with mad fan-service h4xx, goes head to head with Zyuubi Naruto. The Naruto-verse collapses under this battle's immense phailure. The End.

When he is told he will be told by Kakashi or maybe Tsunade.
He will scream Sakura will comfort him. He will probobly just go up to one or two tails, since he is being told what happened instead like actually seeing him and not be able to do anything. Then he will want to kill Pein, but he will need to train with someone (Kakashi again maybe IDK) There will be a funeral and a monument built. He will fight get ownd, but some how control the Kyuubi or Yamato will show up. Then he will come back later as 5 Tails which he can now control since he did some training with Yamato. But Pein was not actually dead and will come back later and form a new Akasuki with Sasuke, Hidan and somebody or all of the people from team snake, since they will kill Kisame soon. and so on and so forth.
