Just to clear things up here, it was actually stated that Shodai's Bijuu-hacking was what allowed him to become Hokage. Yamato states this after suppressing Yonbi Naruto.




Anyway, this new spoiler is intruiging. I never guessed that Madara might be a semi-good guy, or at least a victim. It's really weird that Madara's little brother would just give him his eyes. But I like the concept of the Uchiha being taken over and turned into servants, only to have them plan a revolt that is stopped by...Itachi.

Itachi is so fucking badass, it's just not even fair to the other characters that have to be in the same manga as him. I think Itachi's at least going for second-place in the next popularity poll (it's basically a given who will be first).

Well, I can't wait until the next chapter (already, lol). I'm anxious to find out what Uchiha Itachi's "hell" is.

With the latest spoiler being confirmed, I, NarutoFan (I am probably only here), believe Uchiha Madara is becoming quite the interesting character. Uchiha Itachi has also moved up on the badass scale. ^_^

I like the second and the third spoiler. Madara as somewhat as a victim with some viable intentions can turn him into an interesting character. Itachi's slaughter as means to prevent a violent uprising is pretty good too.

Once again, I call bullshit for everything Madara is telling Sasuke. I don't think the Kyuubi would just appear out of nowhere like a natural disaster. After learning that the Uchiha clan have the ability to control the Kyuubi, it's obvious that either Madara or another twisted Uchiha call upon the Kyuubi in Konoha.

I agree completely.

The fact that Jiraiya reached this conclusion is proof enough for me. You can't just call that "coincidence".

What's with the last 20 chapters? It's one story change to another, like an amorphous blob of gelatin that can't decide what shape it's going to be. Nearly every chapter, something new changes everything said previously. Itachi is a shallow villain who wants Sasuke's eyes, Itachi is Madara's stooge, Itachi is good, protecting Sasuke from evil Madara, Itachi is bad, being the hokage's stooge and Madara is an outcast angst ridden hero, Madara and Itachi kill the clan.

The first couple of times that it was tried to throw in a twist weren't bad, but a new 'revelation' every chapter sucks. Pick one and go with it. It's almost like Kishimoto has a wheel of 'what-if' scenario twists that he's picking from at random to write the chapters.

2nd Hokage is the brother of the 1st. And they don't look alike, both are 100% Senju. I don't see how appearence (Orochimaru's) have anything to do with it.

So Itachi killed the clan so that they couldn't take over the village? That...makes no sense at all >_>

Somehow I don't like Madara and I think he's mostly telling lies. There's no way in hell that the Kyuubi just coincidentally attacked the village.

I don't know about lies. I don't think everything he's saying is true, but I'm not going to dismiss all of it. He makes the Senju out to be bad, caniving people, and I don't think thats the case. I'm thinking he did more crime than he is willing to say at the risk of losing Sasuke's servitude. However, on the other hand, he spoke about how the third Hokage stood up for their rights, which would be in character of him. Perhaps Madara is a good liar. On a somewhat unrelated note, it seems as if the series is mocking real life society, which seems a little much for a children's comic book.

Even with the extra plot twist I'm still liking this chapter, even more so because of it I'd say.

Does anyone else think the art has improved greatly for this chapter? There seemed to be much more depth to it this time round.
