Please. It's ridiculous to think they'd make statues for every bloody nuub that got owned in the streets that day. Generally what happens is, these monument things are erected for people who were actually...you know...important. And nothing Kakashi said implicates a one-on-one duel. He said they fought, but he didn't say they fought alone.

So why was soley a statue of Hashirama built? I mean, there should be at least be a small statue of his brother there as well.

1. It's stated multiple times that Hashirama defeated Madara, not the village.
2. The picture from the fight indicates that it's simply Madara and Hashirama were fighting.
3. Kakashi said when piggy backing Naruto that there once was a great battle between two great ninjas, much like Naruto and Sasuke. Two ninjas, not a hundred.

well,i watch the shippuden filler.....it was ok.at least its better than the usual.same plot but the story about the 12 guardian which include asuma and the monk.too bad both of em will die by the next akatsuki arc thought.well,at least they got some air time before that.oh look at the size of that temple and the big door.kakuzu must be though to knock that door down with one punch and thrash the temple during the fight with the monk.in the manga hidan would help but i dont think he is the brute type thought.

the enemy was grave robers stealing body of strong shinobi for information or using them like orochimaru and sasori.hmm,that made me think of when kakuzu kill shodai he sell to the black market.while later orochimaru buys the dead bodies for his konoha invasion.in which overconfident in his win.

About the MS......maybe its power different from each user.like the pattern being different and so its powers.however still need proof of this.

the reason his statue was built was probably becuz he was the uchiha leader.... like harishima was for the senju's
so imma assume since they where the leaders at the time the truce was instigated, the statues where made for them...

The statues were carved for the two people that fought there, after the fact. The actual valley was carved out from the HUEG battle between Madara and Shodai.

It's obvious that Madara is telling Sasuke half of the truth about the Uchiha clan and Konoha. He just want Sasuke to take Itachi's place in the Akatsuki.

This actually makes alot of sense on Itachi's side of it. Itachi was ordered to kill the clan, and then he pretended to be Madara's disciple in order to kill him. He was on orders the whole time, which is why he killed no one from the leaf, and illogically ran away, when he and Kisame could have obviously manhandled even an ANBU team and proceeded to a doughnut shop.

More than likely. Since he killed the clan, he couldn't stay since he was going to be the scapegoat. He would most likely have been given orders to infiltrate Akatsuki and perform espionage obstruction of their goals and to try to kill Madara for being a prick.
