Kakashi breathe calmly now that Naruto, Yamato, Sakura & Sai have arrived. Yamato says that he never seen Kakashi this beat up before, meaning Kakuzu is an powerful opponent. Naruto stands calmly in front of Kakuzu. He ask where's Shikamaru. Chouji tells him that he's fighting Hidan somewhere. Kakashi tells Sakura & Sai to backup Shikamaru. He also summon Pakkun to help them out. Sakura, Sai & Pakkun leaves Naruto & the others. Naruto says that he'll handle Kakuzu. Kakashi ask Yamato if Naruto finish his training. Yamato says no, but he's halfway there. Naruto smirks after he hears this. Yamato tells Kakashi to just watch since he's about to see a new Naruto. Naruto perform a hand seal.
Hidan is about to deliver the final blow on Shikamaru. He tells Shikamaru that Jashin will never forgive Shikamaru. Shikamaru says he doesn't need Jashin's forgiveness. Shikamaru use a Shadow Summoning jutsu that pull the ropes that have exploding tags stick to them & wrap them on Hidan. The ground beneath Hidan collapse. Hidan ask Shikamaru when he set up that. Shikamaru takes out a cigarette & smokes it. He tells Hidan that he set it up way before he attack Hidan & Kakuzu. Shikamru tells Hidan that the hole is his grave. Hidan says it doesn't matter if his body is destroyed, he'll find a way to dig himself out of the ground by using his head. Shikamaru tells Hidan that his clan owns the forest that they're in now & that his clan will always keep Hidan trapped here. Shikamaru sees Asuma. Asuma says that he's entrusting Shikamaru to the will of fire. Shikamaru says goodbye to Asuma for the last time. The image of Asuma fades with the smoke. Shikamaru throws his cigarette at the exploding tags that's wrap around Hidan. Hidan explodes.

I hope Hidan is defeated once and for all. The next chapter is really going to be something.

Finally, a great chapter, last goodbye to Asuma, Hidan's death, and Shikamaru's awesome here. The quality is horrid though, anyone find better version? Can't wait to see the results of Naruto's training.

You guys do realize that Naruto is still wore out from his training, right? If Naruto kills Kakuzu, that means he has finally surpass Kakashi even he didn't finish training yet. I think it's going to be like.

Teen Goten

This chapter was great. Shikamaru prove to us that he deserves to become a jounin. I'm betting that Naruto is going to kill Kakuzu myself with his Futon: Rasengan or something else he has up his sleeves. Yeah I can see that in the next chapter that Kakashi is going to admit that Naruto has finally surpass him.

Baylavim

Naruto's already used his Futon: Rasengan, when he combo'd with Yamato. Chances are he's going to use some other attack, to avoid repitition. I'm actually thinking he'll use Asuma's chakra blade thing: it seems like an appropriate way to show off his new control over wind.

But I could be completely wrong, and he could just Rasengan the shit out of Kakuzu, as you said. Either way, Naruto will prove to everyone he's a total badass again.
