Post-time skip, Kakashi has Mangekyou and Gaara has his bijuu.
Diedara (C1, C2, C3, C4, and all his other attacks) vs. Kakashi + Mangekyou and Gaara + bijuu. How would the team fair against Sasori's right hand man?

If they fought in the desert, Gaara would have plenty of sand to both attack and defend. He could even protect both himself and Kakashi if it was to come to that. Still, I'd say the the C2 Dragon's missiles would be able to get passed Gaara's sand, seeing as CS2 Saskue (who was stated to have incredible speed at base) couldn't dodge them completely. On, the other hand, it couldn't be as manuverable as the Deidara's birds so he probably wouldn't be able dodge Gaara's sand attacks for long. Though, he might also be able to take out Gaara early on...
Also, Kakashi's genjutsu probably wouldn't work on Deidara, with they eye that he has developed. However, Kakashi has a lightning affinity and I have no doubt in his ability to figure out that the lightning could deactivate the bombs. He'd also be able to see C4 Garuda's spores but I doubt that he'd be able to do anything to stop them. Gaara however, could wrap himself in an sand sphere, and survive the attack. All in all.... I am undecided. =/ (Though, if they fought outside a desert, I'd give it to Deidara.)

If Gaara can manage to distract Diedara, long enough for Kakashi to gets Deidara's head in the space time thing then the team wins.
Otherwise Diedara wins with C3 and C4, even if Gaara goes Bijuu.

Distraction will do nothing if Kakashi can't aim. =/

Once again, I really don't think luck should be used as a factor to determine the victor in a given scenario. Lest you get statements like "If Konahamaru were reeaaally lucky and a meteor fell on Itachi..."

A combination of Desert Coffin and Sharingan warp technique would without a doubt seal the deal. I mean can you imagine getting a part of your body warped away plus getting crushed by sand at the same time? Pretty certain death if you ask me but that's only if Gaara could get his sand's speed to match that of Diedara's.

Lol, if it was so obvious that technique would've gotten his body and not just his arm. Diedara was pulling away and too fast for Kakashi to get any decent damage on Deidara. It tried to suck him in but he pulled out of it. If he was slowing down by a significant margin then certainly Kakashi would've stuck it to him with a Chidori after badly maiming him with his Mangekyou technique.
I understand it slowed him down a little but it wasn't effective enough apparently, Diedara's speed plus Kakashi's experience with aiming the warp technique was a bit too big to do anything special. However, add a Desert Coffin to the mix and it can all change. I wouldn't exactly count on Kakashi slowing Diedara down, I'd count more on Gaara since he can fly.
