Right. It was that five prong seal to his stomach that kept the Kyuubi chakra from being able to mix with his own, which threw off his chakra control a bit, too. Jiraiya took off in after the preliminaries.

Shino showed some skill in Taijutsu against Kimimaro. If Sasuke was distracted by him, or Kiba the insects could easily crawl up his leg and into his pants.

Anyway, you've got things a little mixed up. Shino never fought against Kimimaro - you probably mean either Zaku Abumi or Kankuro.

Like I said, Shino could also use his bugs defensively until he managed to get the upper hand in the fight. As long as he can keep Kiba in check and Hinata can work on Sakura, they can win this fight.

I think he meant Kankuro since Shino did show some fairly basic Taijutsu against him.

Team 8 has superior teamwork compared to Team 7 who has like none.

It would pretty much be Sasuke and Naruto vs. Team 8.

Shino would just own Naruto with his bugs, and Kiba and Akkamaru, with would be able to distract Sasuke enough for Shino to finish him.

I guees but taking their personalities into account(Each of them wanting to do it all them self with out help from the other.) and Sakura's uselessness it really does not help.
Plus Shino is much more smarter than any of them, which would really help.

If this is the same Sasuke that burned Orochimaru's face off with his wire attack, I believe that would be a finisher against any of team 8. I mean seriously, that attack was pawnage, I don't believe I've seen Shino pull something else out more impressive than that.
