Conditions:

• Kakuzu has all five hearts. Likewise, Tyranitar may access any move it can learn.

Both are immensely powerful, high defense, and can release elemental blasts. Keep in mind some facts about the two. Kakuzu's Doton can stop kunai. Kakuzu, in base, stopped Nibi's paw thrust. With his hearts, Kakuzu leveled a forest. About Tyranitar, it can destroy a mountains with it's fists and bury rivers. It's armor shell is very powerful, and most Pokémon physical attacks cannot pierce it. Element-wise, Tyranitar can learn many, Fire, Water, Electric, Flying, and Ground / Rock attacks (All of Kakuzu's elements.)

Kakuzu is a ninja. I'm sure he could pull something out of his bag of tricks.

Tyranitar in particular doesn't strike me as the brightest of Pokemon. I think with a bit of careful planning and some heavy Suiton use, Kakuzu could tank this motherfucker.

And lol, what's with all the Pokemon match-ups, Island?

Because I missed the Alakazam / Itachi match-up, and I wanted a new one.

Kakuzu never opened a fight with his elements blasting. So, what stops Tyranitar from ripping Kakuzu in half?

Dex Data on Tyranitar:
Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald: Tyranitar is so overwhelmingly powerful, it can bring down a whole mountain to make its nest. This Pokémon wanders about in mountains seeking new opponents to fight.

FireRed: Extremely strong, it can change the landscape. It has an insolent nature that makes it not care about others.

LeafGreen: Its body can't be harmed by any sort of attack, so it is very eager to make challenges against enemies.

Diamond / Pearl: If it rampages, it knocks down mountains and buries rivers. Maps must be redrawn afterward.

I don't think Iron Body would do much. Unless Kakuzu becomes more powerful than a mountain, it won't help. If Tyranitar got a fist into Kakuzu, I suspect it would break through. Kakuzu would proceed to collapse, and then surprise Tyranitar with some powerful Taijutsu. However, Tyranitar's shell should be able to hold up against that. Even then, Tyranitar still has Protect. There are also moves such as Double Team, Substitute, etc, that would work. Against the elements, Kakuzu has blasts and so does Tyranitar. Tyranitar namely has Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Earthquake, Fire Blast, Thunder, etc. There is also Sandstorm, which I imagine would have effects similar to Kirigakure no Jutsu, but with an added amount of damage inflicted on Kakuzu w/ Doton. Then there's Hyper Beam. D=

Well Zer0 taken from Pokémon Ranger, "Tyranitar shoots a beam from its mouth. It also shakes its body to trigger quakes" I'm guessing this beam is Hyper Beam. I'm sorry but this is all I can give. Besides Tyranitar can learn Giga Impact that is known to be more powerful than Hyper Beam.

Hyper Beam? Well, it's a beam. If it hits Kakuzu and goes straight through, it'll take out a few hearts.


In all honesty, if Tyranitar crushes mountains, I see no reason why he couldn't put a few holes in Kakuzu. (However, Kakuzu also seems to have regenerative abilities, so it's all good.)

What if Tyranitar uses his Explosion move, wiping himself out but also wiping out Kakuzu as well. If a shake its body to cause earthquakes that destroy mountains; I guessing but such a power technique like Explosion would surely leave Kakuzu dead.

im guessing tyranitar would win basically because from what i saw of Kakuzu he is a ranged fighter (with his elemental attacks) and he got severly damaged by Naruto's rasengan so in theory a few power moves from Tyranitar (who Island stress's) can destroy mountains would be enough to beat Kakuzu

Meh, I don't know. Sounds like Tyranitar can deliver some brutal raw damage that can go through Kakuzu's armor.

Would be interesting in Balanced Power though.

If that Pokemon is tamed, Kakuzu wins by killing the Trainer, stealing the pokeball, and now has....a Pokemon. ^_^

If wild....no idea. If I remember Pokemon correctly (it's been YEARS), Hyper Beam is a one-hit move meaning he will be extremely weakened afterwards.
Knowing ninja tactics, Kakuzu could pull off a shadow clone or use his speed to foul it into using the beam, then attack using elemental attacks.

Tyranitar still has Double Team, Substitute, Protect, etc, so don't think Tyranitar has absolutely no defensive moves.
