How would Zabuza fair against Rock Lee, Naruto, and Gaara? Honestly, I think Rock Lee could finish him with the gates if he opened them up first. If not, Gaara could crush him with desert coffin. Zabuza has some power and technique but Kimimaro can create weapons out of thin air and they can be sharp as a sword or spear. Also, I don't see the water prison jutsu working because kimimaro can create weapons like he does, he shouldn't have a sweat breaking out of a water jutsu like that. Kakashi didn't really have any weapons like Kimimaro did.

Zabuza's physical abilities are greater than Kakashi's. His Ninjutsu and Seals are also very high, and the rest of his statistics are as good as any of those three Genin that you listed or better. He IS a full tier faster and stronger than Lee, you know.

Zabuza also has higher Ninjutsu, Seals, and Power. Either way you roll the dice, they're pretty close. IMO, it comes down to the nature of their techniques, and I think Kirigakure no Jutsu would give Kimimaro trouble.

And Kimimaro just gives Zabuza the time to use it?

You're referring to the second time he used it. I'm referring to the first. In the first, Kimimaro launched Finger Bullets that broke through and then fell. Therefore, he did break through, but the bullets lacked enough force to continue to Gaara's face.

For one, databook stats mean everything outside elemental affinity and sheer luck.

Also, in regards to the CSL2 boost "only so much" happens to be 10x.

Bones are also, pound for pound, five times harder than steel. Kimimaro controls bone density, so...
