I wouldn't worry too much about kakashi....the plot no jutsu is strong within him. He's the kind of character that is beat up and thrown around and still comes out on top.

But yeah, Kakashi is definitely going to die here. Moreover, Pain is showing some new powers that will make me seriously have to rethink his standing on the power scale in comparison to other characters.
