Actually, I see Tsunade and Konan duking it out in a kunoichi brawl, eventually with both revealing aces up their sleeves ( Konan having some ultimate origami jutsu and Tsunade posessing a transformation akin to Sennin Moodo and Oohebi ) before killing each other.

For some reason I highly doubt that Tsunade will be the one to confront Pein, and if she is then I don't think she'll die just yet. She hasn't been Hokage long enough and if she died now who would end up taking her place?

My vote goes for a group lead by Kakashi.
And Naruto will pop in later after his training is complete.

Minato didn't seem to have been in the Hokage position for a lot of time. Tsunade is going to fight Konan, and die with some uber transformation. Then Sakura kills the bitch with Ino and Hinata helping her.

I think that all in Akatsuki are S-rank Shinobi. Konan would kill Tsunade, then Sakura, Hinata, Tenten and Ino avenge Tsunade by teaming up and killing the origami bitch.

I don't recall Tsunade having any sticky liquid jutsu. Just Katsuya, but she needs to summon it first. I don't think Konan would let her do that.

Didn't Tsunade already have that transformation thing she used in the Sannin triple threat match?

Also summoning jutsu doesn't take much longer than a normal jutsu.

I expected someone saying that. That was just because Jiraiya was prepared and he knew Konan very well, Tsunade doesn't.
