Look through and read these guidelines carefully. If you have any disagreements or suggestions you wish to share take them up with me via PMs. Be clear - When making a vs. thread always try to be precise as possible when describing the situation. Make sure to say during what time frames, story arcs, forms, and any other conditions. It will save time and confusion. Cockslash at 300km/h - You feel one character is superior to another without any explanations what so ever besides the fact he's awesome, at least to you. Well, that won't fly over here. If your gonna speak of "WTF pwning" you're are going to include a valid explanation of how in the same post. Getting Gassy - You make a topic for the lulz or a troller comes in here trying to stir up trouble and me or any of the other mods aren't here what are you to do? Ignore him. I can understand throwing a comment in there but don't make it into a conversation. Wait for someone to Gas it and then procede with lulz. Illegal filez - "Guess what guys? I just downloaded the third season of *insert shitty series here*. Should I watch it?" Yeah we don't care how you get your stuff but we don't want to hear about it. So get that stuff out of here. Be sneaky about it. Leave out the downloaded part. Its huge - You're about to post an image, a really large image, one so large it stretches the page. That is your cue to use the spoiler code. Some people have smaller screens or their browser window is smaller. Be courteous for their sake and use the code [ spoiler][/ spoiler] without the spaces. Mini Mod - You see someone breaking the rules and feel the urge to point this out to them. Stop. Don't take matters into your own hands. Contact me or any of the other Mods. That's our job. Necroposting is allowed - Find an interesting thread but its a few months even years old and are afraid to revive it? No need. Go ahead and take the plunge. But remember why you are reviving it. No responses like "Kisame owns Sai". Don't revive a thread just to say one character owns. Have a reason and have it expressed in a thought out manner. One worded posts - No. Unless someone is asking you a straightforward yes or no question expect your post to disappear. At least make a proper sentence. Stay on topic - You're in a thread and find yourself veering off topic but its a very interesting subject so you can't stop. Make a thread about it. Keeps everything in order and boosts activity. That looks familiar - If you are making a thread you think you have seen recently chances are it was probably made recently. Take some time out to look past page 1 and *gasp* look to page 2. And the final point... |
