Fat Pein cannot absorb the Sword of Totsuka or Yata no Kagami, the very things which make the user practically invincible.

In order to absorb chakra, Fat Pein must be in close range. With those two spiritual equipments in the way, he wouldn't be able to get close enough to absorb Susanoo.

What else would the weapons be made out of if not chakra? Tayuya's "spirits" were still just masses of chakra. Hungry Ghost Realm absorbs.

I never said they were not made of chakra, just that they could not be absorbed.

The Sword of Totsuka and Yata no Kagami are both incorporeal, holding no real physical form. Fat Pein's absorption abilities have only been shown to work against tangible chakra (Oil,Rasengan,Fire). If it has no materialized form, and cannot be "touched", it cannot be absorbed.

Besides the fact, Tayuya's Doki spirits could only absorb stamina, more specifically, physical energy. While Pein is able to absorb entire jutsus... they are not the same.

My mistake, I confused the Doki Ghost with Fat Pein.

In every instance that Pein absorbed a jutsu, he had to make contact with it. If he cannot touch chakra which is not in physical form, than it will not get absorbed. The Sword of Totsuka and Yata no Kagami do not have physical forms, as stated by Zetsu.

It was never stated that Fat Pein could absorb "all chakra, no matter what type", that is your opinion. Unless you show evidence that supports your argument, than it has no basis.

Orochimaru was cut by the sword. Sasuke's sword was blocked by the shield. Obviously, they can be touched and thus absorbed.

Databooks are canon.

It would be more correct to say it can hit you, but you cannot hit it back...

The same reason why when Shikamaru threw his shuriken at Tayuya's Doki Ghosts, it would just pass through them, yet when they made contact with him, Shikamaru would take damage. That's what makes it "spiritual", the fact that it is impossible to hit.

Anyone and anything the sword pierces, will be sent into a blissful dream-like genjutsu for all eternity. The shield will repel and reflect any attack back, so even if Fat Pein tried to absorb it, he would be sent flying backwards. They are stated in the manga, as to being incorporeal, so there's no point trying to contradict facts to support your argument... it won't work.

Your argument is vastly flawed. Shikamaru wasn't hit, his energy was. Orochimaru, however, received a very large cut on his body. The sword would be absorbed.
