Srsly, this new chapter is lulz. I would lol @ Madara getting arrested for sitting in the front of a Konoha bus or something. Or to have separate drinking fountains for Ushiha. I'm betting Itachi is Dr. King, while Madara is Malcom X.

Also, we now have 100% proof that the Kyuubi was involved in the battle between Madara and Shodai. Still, with a beast like that, Madara must've been pretty fucking stupid/weak/both to get that fucked up while fighting. I think it was probably recklessness on Madara's part. He didn't try Genjutsu even once. He just...charged right at Shodai, screaming. In both confrontations shown. =/

JC ... it says more about Hashiramas strength than it does about Madara in any way. And we only saw very brief snippets of the fight, it was much better to show us actual action then some goof standing there using genjutsu.

Yes.

But it reveals that Madara is quite possibly an overrated hack, whose only real strength was his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

Sarutobi>Shodai. We have a roof limit for Shodai's strength. The fact that Madara is below that roof means he's been grossly overestimated, at least his younger self. Although, the prescence of Kyuubi means Shodai probably won with mad Senju hacking. But still, the fact that Madara got so bloodied-up in the process means he must've been fairly weak. What about Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and all that shit? How could Shodai possibly get around any of that? I have so many questions, but right now, evidence suggests Madara lost fair and square, which to me, needs explaining, big time. At least the open window of "we still didn't see HOW he lost" is open.

I agree, though. The artwork was superb this time around.

Yes I concur. Though the fact that Madara can summon the Kyuubi in the first place and that Shodai can hack it nullifies the ability on both ends so it takes them back to the level they were on assuming they never had those powers in the first place. As for the Mangekyo techniques, I have no idea why he didn't use them. It does beg the question as to why unless you take in to account that they're not as unavoidable or godly as they sometimes appear to be. I do find it possible that Hashirama truly was that good.

This chapter was great! I can't believe that Madara actually summon the Kyuubi against Hashirama and still lost to him. I'm starting to think that Hashirama is even stronger than successors yet it was stated that the 3rd Hokage and Minato are stronger than him.

They being Konoha. Madara challenges Shodai. Shodai wins. Shodai comes back and says, "Lol, I killed Madara." Everyone else is all, "Lol, Shodai killed Madara." Therefore, they all assumed Shodai killed Madara.

It also could be a traslation error as plural going from Japanese to English can be tricky. I imagine liberties are taken all the time. But I agree with Islands version. JC, even for you, that's a stretch.

But he specifically states he challenged Konoha. He said none of the Uchiha would join him when he first left, and that he came back and attacked. Konoha was Senju-owned and operated anyway. D=

If NinjaA challenges KageA, then NinjaA is also challenging KageA's Village. KageA is the Kakukage of his Village. If you challenge the Kakukage, try to assassinate him, etc, aren't you challenging the Village? Madara challenged Shodai, effectively challenging Konoha. Basically saying, if you aren't with me, you're against me. Konoha supported Shodai. Shodai supported Konoha. If you challenged one, you challenged the other. The United States in World War II declared war on Japan, therefore challenging the Axis. That caused Germany and Italy to be challenged and declared war on the US. You follow?
