"Similar lives" doesn't imply that they had anything like "similar bodies" at all. It implies exactly what it's saying, that they ended up living their lives in similar ways. The strength difference could be nowhere close to being similar, and their lives still could be. Saying otherwise just doesn't make a lot of sense at all. I did read that by the way, but I was responding to your thoughts regardless.

And ANB, what you're trying to say makes no more sense than that. Their lives were similar, so their battle had to be similar as well down to the length of the fight? That doesn't begin to connect. At all.

You need a similar body under similar circumstances to have a "remarkably equal" life--of course, Naruto is unable to use the wooden element, and is a jichiruki.
Anyhow seeing how Kyuubi saw Uchiha Madara in Uchiha Sasuke's eyes enhances that statement.

Not really. You can have two guys who are close in power, and two guys who are nowhere near each other or those other two in strength, yet the former two have lived lives remarkably similar to the latter. Because their bodies aren't totally similar, their lives could not have taken that direction? Again, that doesn't even begin to make sense.

It supports the fact that they were similar, that their power (the power itself), chakra, nature was similar, perhaps also that their potential was similar, but in no way that his abilities were the same or relatively close to the same as compared to Naruto's abilities, as Madara's were to Shodai's. It doesn't relate to the strength difference at all, or even bring up amounts of power.

But since they're overall "remarkably" alike there must be major similarities that cover the differences up.

Major similarities don't have to be directly relevant to how they're strengths exactly matched up, though. That being different doesn't have to change anything note-worthy about their lives at all, tbh.

A single sentence you plucked from two very large text-walls.

I was talking about a large number of issues, such as chakra capacity, power-ladders, and the logic behind the two playing Kyuubi-tug-o-war. That sentence would be less than 12% of my arguement as a whole.

The rest doesn't really connect either. The chakra stuff is basically irrelevant, because being able to summon something and being able to control it are two completely different things, and just because Shodai can force the Kyuubi to submit to his will whether in Madara's control or not doesn't make Shodai more powerful than Madara. I'm searching for the statement.

That is not what I said at all.

I was pointing out that they'd essentialyl be playing "tug-o-war" with the Kyuubi. Both can control it. It would make for a pretty boring fight...

I never said Shodai overpowering control over the Kyuubi against Madara implies he is stronger. As a matter of fact, I NEVER said Shodai was stronger. And to add to that, there is no proof the Kyuubi ever came to Konoha prior to when it showed up 15 years earlier. That's the only record we have of it being in the Fire country.

The chakra thing...was only me explaining that Shodai would have to have a lot of chakra to summon bijuu like that. I'd imagine his fighting style was similar to Pein's with a mix of Moku jutsu Gaara-style. About the fight itself, their battle was so intense it created the river. It WAS epic. If they were that inbalanced they would not erect statues about it like it was some big deal. Regardless, until we see more about the fight, we should just leave this.

Well, his brother couldn't have helped in the fight because then it would have been in the "legends"
What we do know is that Shodai beat Madara. We don't know the conditions. As far as we know, Madara could have been sick or wounded, but he could have also been at full power.
