It was a great cinematic scene. Shodai used the move on Naruto in a clip I have seen. I didn't think it would have been on a nuclear scale though.

I think Shodai is awesome, especially because Yamato states that he's nothing compared to Shodai and I think Yamato is a decent ninja in terms of strength and technique/intelligence. You have to be godly to be able to bend the will of a bijuu and your odds in a battle would be high because of it. He'd certainly dominate most opponents in a forest/woods type environment.

I think that Shodai just has a fire affinity ( along with wood ) so he could have just release fire in a burst of chrakra to burn the wood.

I agree. I saw it a while ago, but I only really came to appreciate it when I got the game.

Shodai is one of my favorite playable characters, and his Ougi is my absolute favorite.
