cough obito cough. Kishimoto doesn't bring back dead people and it would serve no purpose for obito to be the leader. Why would OBITO, someone who never knew a damn thing about jinchurikki or even seem to care, become the leader of the akatsuki. Also the leader doesn't even have sharingan. Just swirly eyes. If you have seen the pic close-up you would know.

Obito...did you read what i said. I said he got swept away with the river. We don't what happened to him, he could of been caught by the enemy as it was war times and been cured by a medical Jutsu user. If Rin could easily transport an eye over, a medic can easily repair a damaged eye and put in a false one. Then been interrogated.
We don't know that do we? But it can be a possibility to think about.

Why would he care? Because he wants to become stronger okay? He admitted he is weak, and he did get very fustrated at the end. So perhaps he seeked power, like Sasuke did. So far all the Uchiha's that have had a major role have seeked for power.

And with the eyes you can't actually tell. There just swirly. Mangekyou Sharingan is swirly. We don't know yet.

I know the chances are not to great of it being Obito but atleast i had the time to put some stuff up together to think about instead of bitching about a theory cough Oni_Eosu cough. If you don't want to discuss theories and prefer to bitch about them then leave.

Yes i do prefer to b***h because ur theory doesn't make sense. Swept away by the river? They were at a cave. There was no river. The cave crashed on top of him. Crushed under the weight of hundreds of boulders. How can he be swept away by this invisible river? At least make a theory with more than a super slim chance of happening. Cuz then you would have a better chance of being right.

Thats not the cave that obito was in. Thats the bridge they were heading for. Which was nowhere near the cave. its impossible for that to happen because only forest seperated the team from the bridge. Obito couldnt have gotten into the river. It still makes no sense.....

It can make sense... just because there was a cave-in doesnt mean that the boulders had to have crushed him. Whilst it is far fetched thats what most theories are...

it is possible for it too happen, did they ever mention his body, or getting him back... no... they never said anything else about him after the collapse. So for all we know he somehow survived and went stark raving mad like a gallah and ended up with akatsuki after some mysterious past...

yondaime is possible... though since it was him who performed the seal to seal the kyubi you'd think he'd have died from it... but again we dont know what happened, only that everyone seems to be sure that they are dead. Though Orochimaru did raise a 3rd coffin against the 4th hokage... but it never opened so again the mystery is still there.

If it is some completely new person it would be a lil weird, Usually the characters are all known to each other, someone always knows the enemy. So im guessing that this person also has a past that will probably be linked back, most likely to hidden leaf.

Engel's right. However, I'm pretty sure Obito is dead. Every part of his body was crushed under the boulders except for the left side of his head an his left arm. So unless King Cold came by in a spaceship and found him floating amongst the ruins of Planet Namek and rebuilt him, then I say Obito is DEAD.

I still maintain, however, that it is an unknown person.

It could be an unkknown person to the readers...but it can be a known person to some of the characters. It could just be someone no one has mentioned yet.

Yes, there could be an unknown person also, but from the known people, I'd say Yondaime, as he knows the seals etc. etc.

Its Yondaime's brother. Its possible as nothing about Yondaime's family has been explained. I'd doubt it though.
